Monday . . . Anne, The Boys (The Falconator – The Mac-Attack) & I Will Be Driving South.
We will Begin our Thirteenth Winter Sojourn to the United States, Starting on October 26, 2026 when we Cross the Border Into the United States of America at Massena New York.
We Will Arrive At Myrtle Beach On November 1, 2026 & Stay There Until April 1, 2027, when we will begin Heading Back to Canada. We are thrilled with the Anticipation of the Trip, As Are So Many Of Our American Friends.
Because We Are Somewhat Older, which in our Case, Means the 1,000-Mile Drive Isn’t as Easy as it was Several Years Ago because of our Age, we Decided to Add a Few Days to our Journey, Which Will Give Me More Time To Continue Researching, Writing & Publishing Galganov.Com.

Neither Left Nor Right, Since They All Have Their Own Socio/Political Prejudices. And they Have to Answer to their Audience, Corporate Owners & Sponsors.

What Is Also Telling, Is How The People Who Still Contribute . . . Many Contribute Less.
I Am Not Disappointed In These Readers By One Bit . . . I am Only Sad that they are Feeling the Painful Pinch of the Economy, which the Politicians Say is Booming . . . But I Guess Not For Everyone, which is why I Always Write When Asking Once Every Month for Blog Financial Support, That If You Cannot Afford To Support . . . Don’t.
Anne & I Feel It Too, and as a Result, we Contemplated Staying Home this Winter Until we Crunched the Numbers, Deciding that Whether we Go South or Stay North, the Costs would Basically be the Same Either Way.
Like Most People . . . We Also Need To Sacrifice.

I Have Never Hidden My Feelings For Donald Trump . . . I Don’t Like him as a Person. I Don’t Like the Fact that he Belittles People because of How they Look (Heavy), or that they Don’t Look Like Actors from “Central Casting”, or because they Don’t Measure-Up to his Version of “High IQ” People, or because he Exaggerates the Truth & Creates Non-Existent Truths, like before he Took the Oval Office, he Brags How America was a Failed Nation . . . America Was Never A Failed Nation.
I Am Not A Chest Beating Canadian Nationalist . . . But Canada is my Country, and it Troubled me More than just Somewhat, when Trump Insulted the Country of my Birth & Lied about Canada’s American Trade Imbalance, Non-Existent Fentanyl Smuggling Operation from Canada into the United States, Including Illegal Immigrants Storming the American Border from Canada. None Of Those Things Were True Or Accurate.
It Also Bothered Me Considerably How He Screwed Canada Over The Gordie Howe Bridge.
TARIFFS ARE AN INSIDIOUS TAX ON THE COUNTRY CHARGING THEM:
When A Country Charges A 50% (Or Whatever) Tariff On An Import . . . that Tariff Increases the Cost of the Imported Product by the Percentage of the Tariff, which is then Marked-Up Repeatedly Along the Line by the Importer, Distributor – Etc . . . Until It Reaches The Retailer & Then The End Consumer.
When Trump Brags That He Brought-In Hundreds Of Billions Of Dollars In Tariffs, What Trump is Not Saying, is that he Just Taxed the American People Hundreds of Billions of Dollars on their Purchases. I Assure You . . . The Corporations Don’t Eat The Tariffs.
When Trump Says He Is Giving Billions Of Dollars In Relief To The American People, What Trump is Not Saying, is that he is Giving Back a Small Portion of the Money, Which He Has Already Taxed The American People On Through Tariffs.
It Bothered Me That Trump Imposed Draconian Tariffs On Canada, Which Were Uncalled-For . . . And it Bothered me a Great Deal More, When Trump Placed his Thumb on the Canadian Election Scale by Promoting the Liberal One World Government Proponent Mark Carney, Over The Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre.
The Result . . . Canada Has A Bad Government & America Is Losing A Friendship.
I Never Liked Trump – Even Before 2016 . . . But Once Trump Won the Primary, I Supported Trump in 2016, 2020 & 2024 . . . Because in each Case – The Socio/Political Alternative Was Worse, and Trump Had Some Excellent Policy Ideas – Including Closing the Southern Border to Illegal Immigrant Invaders, Taking a Machete to Stupid & Suffocating Regulations, Killing Leftist Lies on Climate Change, Ending the Leftist War on Fossil Fuels, Taking-On the Harmful Corporate Food Industry, Moving the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Recognizing the Golan Heights as a Part of Israel – Plus Other Issues That Were Supportive Of The United States Of America.

I support you financially only occasionally because I feel your column falls on deaf ears and I must save for my family’s pathetic future in Canada. I now rarely support the Conservative party for the same reasons. Words are not keeping jihad etc out of Canada. When I see a good future for Canada I will then contribute, but until then I will just save my pennies for a better use.

I support Trump regardless of his many faults but the alternate is the far left DSA loons who hate America and white people (if a conservative). And we need to step up to the Muslims who hate America and like Minnesota, scammers. I don’t want us to end up like France, England, Italy and other European countries. I wish Trump would focus on effectively running the country versus personal attacks but a leopard can’t change its spots. Again, the alternative is destruction of the USA and the West.
Thanks Howard, your honesty is refreshing. I feel the same about Trump. I like many of his policies & dislike others including his treatment of Canada. I voted for him three times in the general election (because the alternative was alarming) but not once in the primary. I truly appreciate the way that you are able to break down the good, bad & ugly relating to Trump. I think that the man has either had a stroke or something similar to cause the extreme negative outbursts to anything that he thinks is not in line to his “way of operating”. Safe journeys south. Yes things” have become more expensive but thank heavens we live in “North America”. The rest of the world is much worst off!!
