I Own The F-250 Completely, but Ford still Has the Wherewithal to Read the Computer Data on my Truck from Anywhere. Ford can Start & Stop my Truck from Miles Away & Know Where the Truck is Located at Any Time.
I’m Not Ragging On Ford. I Love my F-250, and I would be Willing to Bet Dollars to Doughnuts that Ford is just One of all the Other Car & Truck Manufacturers with this Type of Access. Just Imagine The Information Gleaned By Cars & Trucks Imported From China.

It’s Not That Anne And I Are Against The Right For People To Gamble. We Just Think that it’s kind of Dumb to Piss-Away Hard-Earned Money Chasing a Fantasy where the House always Wins . . . And The Gambler Eventually Always Loses.
I Never Gambled Big . . . Always Under $20 – But I Hated the Rush of Anticipating my Win or Loss as the Cards were Turned-Over. And I Hated Losing – So Why Would I Want To Continuously Put Myself Through That?
I Don’t Buy Lottery Tickets, because when the Statistics Show that my Chance of Winning is Somewhere Between Zero & One in a Million Gazillion – Why Bother?
Anne & I Used To Go To The Racetrack To See & Bet On The Horses, Mostly Because it was a Friday or Saturday Night-Out, and We Loved Watching the Horses.
We Set a Strict Limit on How Much we Gambled for the Night (10-Races – $2 Per Race), with the Understanding that if We “Won Big” (More Than We Started With), We Would Take our Winings & Have Supper at a Really Nice Restaurant. We Almost Always Wound-Up Eating At McDonalds.
I HAVE PERSONAL DEEP KNOWLEDGE TO THE COST OF GAMBLING:

And Now . . . It’s Not Just Lottery Tickets – It’s College Sports, It’s On-Line Gambling & Bets over the Most Banal Outcomes.

Pot In The 60’s & 70’s Wasn’t Like Weed Is Today, even though Marijuana was Always Somewhat Mentally Addictive, it Never Had the Potency of the Drugs Consumed Today by Young & Old . . . But Today – Pot in Itself Doesn’t Need to Be a Gateway to Stronger & More Addictive Drugs (Which It Is), Since Weed Is Plenty Strong & Addictive All On Its Own.

It has been agreed upon that 90% of all gamblers leave the table just five minutes too early 😁. Yes the evil people in charge want to have a maximum of 500 million people on earth, they have already told us that.
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised or amazed but I’m constantly struck by how much smoking pot appears in shows that run the gamut of age ranges. Smoking weed is portrayed on tv and in film as cool and with an “everyone does it” attitude. I think the hollywood types think it’s less of a vice than alcohol, by a good margin. I wish entertainment would stigmatize it as much as it did portrayals of tobacco back in the day; they seemed to have relaxed that a bit, too, in the last decade.
Ken, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The dumbing-down of an entire generation of useful idiots has been the goal of the ruling class and its army of bureaucratic sycophants. Assisted by willing accomplices in academia and the media, they have been spectacularly successful. Our local Liberal MP, Peter Schiefke, actually tried to put me in jail. We have a hell of a lot of work to do. Our major responsibility is getting out the vote.
I believe the government legalizes and allows the things you cited to serve as a distraction from the reality of life; from crime, to bad mayors, bad or incompetent political leadership at the federal, state and local level. And…it’s money, if the government legalizes and regulates it – they and their cronies get money. Money and control over the populace.
My wife has pointed out, over the past few months, that we are bombarded by advertising about online gambling both by private and government sources. We haven’t seen any of the old ads regarding help for gambling addicts. Electronic devices, once you go to a web site, have hundreds of cookies planted watching you. Any product from Google, from phones to software, is recording EVERYTHING about you. Microsoft now, too. There used to be useful idiots; now simply idiots.
Very interesting thoughts with Rosh Hashanah approaching. We have been endowed with FREEDOM OF CHOICE; hence, we have to take responsibility for those choices individually and as a nation. If we make bad choices, the consequences can lead us to self-destruction. Unfortunately, many people today have not been taught to take responsibility for their actions, thinking that either the government or others will bail them out. I pray that we will elect good leaders.
Could not agree more… there is so much to learn by tracking me that I am shocked that “they” do such a poor job of it…. Why do they legalize this stuff and rob me of the opportunity to form my own division of the cartel and then control the Government and get truly wealthy?? Sooner or later we must give up on trying to regulate all of us and provide the true education that parents have been remiss in providing for much too long now!! Our civilization is well on track to DOOM!!

Good question. Our governments will go to any lengths to have control over us, & legalizing something that is not good for us is certainly one way to gain control. I used to smoke cigarettes but quit 57 years ago because of a promise I made to our 4 year old son. When a teacher in public high school, students said I shouldn’t knock smoking weed. I asked a police chief if I could smoke just one, he arranged it, I tried it, & felt nothing like my natural highs. And often I tell Siri to hush up!
The most astonishing thing about this article is the fact that you, as a Jew, would purchase a Ford product. Henry Ford was an ardent antisemite and even published antisemitic material, not to mention his favorite picture of himself in the company of Adolph Hitler.
