Monday . . . Anne, The Boys (The Falconator – The Mac-Attack) & I Will Be Driving South.

We will Begin our Thirteenth Winter Sojourn to the United States, Starting on October 26, 2026 when we Cross the Border Into the United States of America at Massena New York.

We Will Arrive At Myrtle Beach On November 1, 2026 & Stay There Until April 1, 2027, when we will begin Heading Back to Canada. We are thrilled with the Anticipation of the Trip, As Are So Many Of Our American Friends.

Because We Are Somewhat Older, which in our Case, Means the 1,000-Mile Drive Isn’t as Easy as it was Several Years Ago because of our Age, we Decided to Add a Few Days to our Journey, Which Will Give Me More Time To Continue Researching, Writing & Publishing Galganov.Com.

Let Me Give Thanks To Those Who Already Wished Us A Good Trip & Safe Travels.

As You Probably Know From Reading Galganov.Com, I Put Very Little Trust in Polls, since I Never Trust their Independence or Objectivity, just as I Don’t Trust Much of the Reporting by Most of the Media . . . Neither Left Nor Right, Since They All Have Their Own Socio/Political Prejudices. And they Have to Answer to their Audience, Corporate Owners & Sponsors.

I Trust Me . . . Even Though I Freely Admit To Being A Conservative Thinker. My First Loyalty is Not to Me, Not to the People who Read What I Write, Nor to the People who Listen to What I Say . . . My First Loyalties Are To The Unbridled Truth & Freedom Of Expression.

IMAGINE MY DISAPPOINTMENT . . .  TWO-FOLD:

The First Is More Sadness Than Disappointment, as Many of the People who Have Regularly Contributed to the Financial Support of Galganov.Com . . . Have Over the Last Few Months Apologized to Me Via Email for Not Being Able to Contribute to the Blog because of Financial Stress.

What Is Also Telling, Is How The People Who Still Contribute . . . Many Contribute Less.

I Am Not Disappointed In These Readers By One Bit . . . I am Only Sad that they are Feeling the Painful Pinch of the Economy, which the Politicians Say is Booming . . . But I Guess Not For Everyone, which is why I Always Write When Asking Once Every Month for Blog Financial Support, That If You Cannot Afford To Support . . . Don’t.

Anne & I Feel It Too, and as a Result, we Contemplated Staying Home this Winter Until we Crunched the Numbers, Deciding that Whether we Go South or Stay North, the Costs would Basically be the Same Either Way.

Like Most People . . . We Also Need To Sacrifice.

What We Won’t Sacrifice-On . . . Are Two Essentials . . . We Won’t Curtail the Services we Need to Pay to Keep the Blog (Galganov.com) Fully Functioning. And we will Not Cut as Much as a Penny from the Total Care & Pampering, Which We Are “Guilty” Of Providing For The “Boys”.

We Will Shop & Spend Less On Ourselves . . . Which Won’t Be A Great Punishment.

I Have Never Hidden My Feelings For Donald Trump . . . I Don’t Like him as a Person. I Don’t Like the Fact that he Belittles People because of How they Look (Heavy), or that they Don’t Look Like Actors from “Central Casting”, or because they Don’t Measure-Up to his Version of “High IQ” People, or because he Exaggerates the Truth & Creates Non-Existent Truths, like before he Took the Oval Office, he Brags How America was a Failed Nation . . . America Was Never A Failed Nation.

I Am Not A Chest Beating Canadian Nationalist . . . But Canada is my Country, and it Troubled me More than just Somewhat, when Trump Insulted the Country of my Birth & Lied about Canada’s American Trade Imbalance, Non-Existent Fentanyl Smuggling Operation from Canada into the United States, Including Illegal Immigrants Storming the American Border from Canada. None Of Those Things Were True Or Accurate.

It Also Bothered Me Considerably How He Screwed Canada Over The Gordie Howe Bridge.

TARIFFS ARE AN INSIDIOUS TAX ON THE COUNTRY CHARGING THEM:

When A Country Charges A 50% (Or Whatever) Tariff On An Import . . . that Tariff Increases the Cost of the Imported Product by the Percentage of the Tariff, which is then Marked-Up Repeatedly Along the Line by the Importer, Distributor – Etc . . . Until It Reaches The Retailer & Then The End Consumer.

When Trump Brags That He Brought-In Hundreds Of Billions Of Dollars In Tariffs, What Trump is Not Saying, is that he Just Taxed the American People Hundreds of Billions of Dollars on their Purchases. I Assure You . . . The Corporations Don’t Eat The Tariffs.

When Trump Says He Is Giving Billions Of Dollars In Relief To The American People, What Trump is Not Saying, is that he is Giving Back a Small Portion of the Money, Which He Has Already Taxed The American People On Through Tariffs.

It Bothered Me That Trump Imposed Draconian Tariffs On Canada, Which Were Uncalled-For . . . And it Bothered me a Great Deal More, When Trump Placed his Thumb on the Canadian Election Scale by Promoting the Liberal One World Government Proponent Mark Carney, Over The Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre.

The Result . . . Canada Has A Bad Government & America Is Losing A Friendship.

I Never Liked Trump – Even Before 2016 . . . But Once Trump Won the Primary, I Supported Trump in 2016, 2020 & 2024 . . . Because in each Case – The Socio/Political Alternative Was Worse, and Trump Had Some Excellent Policy Ideas – Including Closing the Southern Border to Illegal Immigrant Invaders, Taking a Machete to Stupid & Suffocating Regulations, Killing Leftist Lies on Climate Change, Ending the Leftist War on Fossil Fuels, Taking-On the Harmful Corporate Food Industry, Moving the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Recognizing the Golan Heights as a Part of Israel – Plus Other Issues That Were Supportive Of The United States Of America.

I COULD GO ON & ON ABOUT TRUMP’S POLICIES . . . BUT TO NO AVAIL:

I am Not Looking for Approbation – Nor Am I Campaigning Against Trump – I’m Just Telling-It Like It Is.

The Moment Honest Critical Political Dialogue Becomes An Issue To Be Shunned . . . Is The Moment Our Freedoms Begin To End.

What I Just Wrote Is Unassailable . . . It Is All True & Accurate, but What I Have Received from Some of the People who Read Galganov.com, Not Many, But Too Many To Ignore, is their Derision Against Me for Daring to Criticize Donald J Trump, Which Is Very Disconcerting, Not Because I Feel Insulted, but because I Realize People Don’t Really Want to Hear or Read the Truth . . .
