I Much Prefer to Designate the Type of System we Currently Enjoy, which Has Freed the World, Making America the Freest & Most Successful Socio/Economic Political Configuration on the Planet (And In History) . . . AS A SYSTEM BASED UPON FREE ENTERPRISE.

The Term Capitalism Denotes A Harshness, which Does Not Properly Portray who we are as a People or as a Society, Where Free Enterprise Is A Clear Definition . . . Describing How we are Free to Innovate, Take Risks, Win, Lose, Generate Jobs, Create Wealth, Enjoy Wealth – Etc.

I Continuously Write About Socialism Being A Pre-Cursor To Communism, which is True, But Not Inevitable, just as “Capitalism” is Not a Guarantee to Social/Political Economic Freedom, Where With Absolute Capitalism, the Most Aggressive & Best-Connected People Get to Control all the Wealth, while Regular People Work as Vassals for the Rich, Which Was The British System That Drove America To Become An Independent Constitutional Republic 250-Years Ago.

Don’t Think America Does Not Enjoy Or Prosper From Various Forms Of Socialism.

In America . . . Every Child is Guaranteed a FREE Education from Kindergarten to High School Graduation. American People are Promised Safety, Security, Good Infrastructure (Roads, Bridges– Etc), Free Food in the Guise of Certificates (Food Stamps) and a Form of Shelter (Housing) for the Homeless who Do Not Want to Live on the Streets.

So Who Pays For All The Above Free Stuff & Much More?

The People With Means Pay For Those Without . . . Through Their Taxes . . . Try to Imagine a Society where all the Above would Only be Available to the People who Could Afford to Pay for the Luxury of Good Roads & Bridges, Safety from Violence Only by Private Security, And No Food Or Shelter For People Who Couldn’t Afford To Eat Or Have A Roof Over Their Heads.

To An Extent – America Is Already Living In A Socialized Society, Which Is Not A Bad Thing.

WHY CAN’T THE PEOPLE ENJOY BOTH?

I Have American Friends & Relatives Who Live In Gated Communities. They Spend a Great Deal of Money on Healthcare, Above & Beyond the Minimum Cost of Available Partially Subsidized Healthcare, In Itself, Which Is Not All That Affordable. Which I Will Write About Shortly.

People Who Have, Don’t Necessarily Understand The Pain Of Those Who Have-Not.

The Current Affordability Problem With America & Canada . . . Does Not Lie With Free Enterprise . . . To The Contrary, Free Enterprise Is The Solution. The Real Problem is Unbridled Capitalism, where the Rich & Powerful Have Used Government to Form Oligopolies, which Enable Like-Minded Industries to Control Competition & Prices through Supply Management.

What is the Difference Between Controlled Prices by Government & Controlled Prices by Oligopolies (Private Industries That Rig Free Enterprise)? To Me There Is No Discernible Difference . . . Either Way . . . The People Are Inevitably Ripped-Off.

Healthcare Providers Cry Poor . . . When Did American Healthcare Stop Being A Calling.

Doctors In America Are Most Often Millionaires. Insurance Companies & Healthcare Providers are Mega Billion-Dollar Businesses, while American Healthcare as a Whole, is a Trillion-Dollar Industry.

American Healthcare Is A Business, and like all Businesses it is Profit Motivated, and in the Case of American Health, it is Owned by Mega Corporations from National Conglomerates in League with Hospitals, Urgent Care Centers, and the Insurance Industry.

Canadian Healthcare Is Privately Managed . . . Mostly Government Paid.

Just Because Republican Pundits Crap On Canadian Healthcare – Doesn’t Make What They Say True.

I’ve Been Following Statements on Fox News About Canadian Healthcare being Equivalent to the Dire System of the Old Soviet Union. I’ve Been Hearing About our Rundown Canadian Hospitals, Antiquated Medical Equipment, and Unavailability to Needed Procedures.

DON’T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR OR READ:

Don’t Think for a Second that there is Not a Multi-Billion-Dollar American Health-Industry Lobby Against Anything that Resembles Socialized Medicine.

Let Me Set the Record Straight from a Position of Personal Knowledge, Since I’ve Had Experiences with Both the American & Canadian Systems.

CANADA DOES NOT OPERATE THIRD WORLD MEDICINE:

Canadian Hospitals Are Just As Modern & Efficient As American Hospitals. Our Doctors are on Average as Good as Doctors Anywhere in the World, and Our Medical Equipment is as Modern as is Available. And In-Spite of Embellished Medical Horror Stories Propagated by American Media, Canadians who Need Emergency Care, Especially in Larger Cities, Generally Get The Care They Need When They Need-It.

The Canadian System Isn’t Perfect . . . But It Is Also Not As Bad As Portrayed.

While it is True that the Canadian Medical Association Hasn’t Kept-Up with Graduating, Training & Licensing Nearly as Many Doctors as they Should Have, which Has Led to Doctor Shortages, it is Also True that Unbridled Immigration into Canada Has Placed an Enormous Burden on the Medical Establishment. The Same Can Be Said About America.

It Is Also True . . . That Elective Surgeries in Canada are Often Placed Upon the Back Burner, Sometimes Taking as Long as a Year for a Procedure to Take Place. But it is Also True . . . That No Matter The Issue . . . From a Simple Trip to the Doctor to Complicated Tests, Treatments & Surgeries . . . No Canadian Lays Awake At Night Worrying How They Are  Going To Pay.

In Canada . . . Thousands Of Canadians Die Each Year Waiting For Treatments, But So Do Americans, Unbeknownst to Many, because of a Dirty Little Secret which the Health Industry Nor the Government Want to Publicize . . . It is Called Death-By-Queue.
