Canada Agreed To Pay 100% Of The Total Cost Of The Bridge With Full American Input, American Labor on the American Side of the Bridge . . . Along with American Materials on the American Side of the Bridge wherever Feasible. It Was The Perfect Deal – Everyone Was Happy . . . And Then Came Trump.

There is absolutely no need for this tariff / economic war —– NONE!!! We have been good neighbors and good friends for too long to have a bully tear us apart.
Canada needs a builder, not a brand. A manager, not a messiah. A negotiator, not a performer. A patriot, not a Davos mascot. A leader who can inspire Canadians to strive for success. Someone who wakes up every morning thinking, how do I make this country harder to push around, easier to build in, cheaper to live in, safer to invest in, and better for ordinary Canadians. I believe Pierre Paulievre fits the bill.
Trump has done some great things but because of his ego and power he at times misuses it because of his need to feed his ego. The 3 best presidents in my lifetime have been a general, an actor and a business man. We all, recently, had to live with the performance of a 50 year politician. Most politicians are just that “a politician” I’ll take a general, actor, or a businessman any day.
Carney holds positions in WEF; his wife is an important player for Climate Change. Carney is a key player in Europe, OWO & Digital Currency (think Trudeau & Emergency Measures). Trump is fighting for a sovreign America & will have nothing to do with Carney & OWO. To achieve his objective(s) Carney must alianate America & destroy Canada as we have know it. It’s all very subtle and few people can see the wood for the trees. What has Carney done for Canada, ever? Poilievre, not perfect but is O.K.
Had Canada stepped up and despite it’s joke of a military said flat out to Trump we agree with you on Iran never ever acquiring nuclear weapons and how can we help you, To that end I firmly believe we’d have little to no tariffs going in either direction.
Politics used to be sort of an “honorable type of public service”. At least in my imagination. Now we have dishonest bullies, & conniving bankers who are missleading the general public, plus they are getting well paid with wonderful retirement packages! I will just have to pray a lot harder!!

Let’s put our chest-thumping patriotism aside and accept the reality that compared to the gigantic leviathan to our south, we are a mosquito on a bull’s arse and our so-called “leaders” in Ottawa are robotic idiots who can’t see past next week’s paycheck and their end-of-the-year bonuses. September 11th 2001 (24 years ago) when USA was attacked: 9/11 – – – our Canadian Prime Minister, Jean Chretien, made a statement: “Canada is shocked and outraged about the tragic events in New York. We will do everything in our power to help. We are opening our airports so American planes could land safely. Anything else we can do we will do. After all, United States is like Family.” / Yes, and that’s the way it’s been as long as I remember. Americans & Canadians like Family.
I wish to address the issue in your commentary where you wrote that Trump “called Canada a nasty country.” THAT’S not true at all. Just wish our President had a filter before he speaks. Apologies from me don’t mean much, but are most sincere. I agree the things you state are definitely “things to think about.” The bridge deal never should have collapsed. If memory serves, I am sure Trump wanted Carney ro win. He needs to admit this huge mistake. Tariffs on friends is ridiculous.
Carney has put in his lot with the Globalists and the Democrats to defeat Trump in the upcoming midterm elections in November. He has even sent his bumboy Anthony Housefather (Liberal MP of the Mt Royal riding in Montreal) to campaign door to door for the Democratic party in Florida, despite both of them aware that this is illegal. Housefather (a Jew) needs the excuse to be as far away from his Jewish constituents in Montreal’s Cote St Luc, Hampstead, and TMR. He has failed them miserably.

The Canadian electorate voted for Justin Trudeau twice and left him in power for 10 years, where he destroyed the very fabric of what Canada had always stood for. Trump is not perfect, but I think he is doing what is right for the US, I wish our leaders did the same for us here in Canada. What Carney did a few days ago is more self-serving than fighting for our country.
