Sadly, I agree with everything you said. We had such high hopes that President Trump and BB could pull off a miracle. I guess it’s back to war.
May I correct you when you stated that Vance said that America is Israel’s only remaining friend. I believe that he actually stated that Trump is the only remaining world leader who is a friend of Israel. By saying this he showed very clearly where his personal feelings are at. We as Jews had better pray that it is not him but Rubio as the next POTUS.
I’m sorry to say that I have to agree with everything you wrote. I will add how stupid for Trump to suggest with many insults that Israel turn over the war in Lebanon to the Syrians. I have a cousin who has pointed out that Trump has changed considerably towards Israel and Iran since his trip to China. I have read some reports that in private Xi was screaming at Trump about Taiwan and Iran.
Trump seems to not understand that there is no deal to be made. He also doesn’t understand that he can not arbitrarily speak for Israel in any agreement. Socialism coming? Remember, the Nazi party was a left leaning socialist movement. People seem to have forgotten that. The socialist Democrats are more a danger than one can imagine. Some Democrats have even voiced rounding up Republicans and putting them in camps. The media is ignoring these dangerous statements.
The truth here is that Israel will, as it has ALWAYS done—defend its country and citizens against ALL ATTACKS. No matter what. The antisemitism we experience living day to day today has grown exponentially in the world. How anyone can buy into and practice the hatred of an entire culture is beyond my understanding.
