The Death Penalty does not stop crime – BUT IT GETS RID OF CRIMINALS. It also saves the tax payer about $50,000/yr to house, feed, clothe, entertain, exercise, supply housing, electricity, etc to them. Tariffs are the best way to stop the Communist from sellig slave labor made goods at cheaper prices to oust our products and cancel our jobs. There has NIVER been a country of Palestine. MBS recently granted permission for Chabad in Riyadh. Not quite the Abraham Accords but positive “baby steps”. On the other topic, I cannot help but think of what presidential candidate Vivek Rhamaswamy said after Oct 7. That the IDF should place severed heads of terrorists on spikes at the Gaza border with the faces pointing towards Gaza, as a warning. His reasoning was that sometimes you have to match the “lowest common denominator” to drive home your point when dealing w barbarians.
Many look aghast at killing as punishment for committing the ultimate crime. However, when murder is condoned, even encouraged, by an influential subset of an entire culture (e.g. Islam) do we not owe it to ourselves to deliver eye-for-an-eye justice to members of that subset who commit the most heinous crime of all? I say put the cretin to death in prime time, at an NFL half-time, where the fans are cheering bone-crushing mayhem. The killer will die instantly, and the crowd will barely notice.
Locking up really bad criminals for life without parole sounds good but doesn’t always work. Liberal politicians will release them eventually back into society. So capital punishment is necessary. As for public execution, it could make evil think twice before committing evil. Randomly killing US service people is a special terrible act deserving public execution. Greetings: There is nothing wrong with capital punishment. Not being a big believer in religion or the Bibles, it is still nonetheless, the credo of most religions. You take a life, yours is taken.
