Where Is The Honesty Or Integrity In That?

Anne, The Boys & I Are Back In Canada – Wow, What A Difference.
After Living in the United States of America for Slightly Longer than 5-Months, Anne I Returned Home to Canada a Few Days Ago, where I Saw One Doctor (Planned Appointment) Covered by OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Program), Another Doctor (Physio Therapist) for Which I Had to Pay Cash, to Plan an Exercise Regime to Restore my Broken Femur Back to Pre-Break Status, and for us to do Some COSTCO Shopping, which Sent Anne & Myself for a Loop, When Considering the Prices we were Used to Paying for Products in America, Compared To The Usurious Prices Charged In Canada.
The Canadian Prices are so Outlandish for Products, in Comparison to Similar Products South of the Canadian Border, that we Immediately Began to Long for the American Cost of Shopping, to the Point that Products we Generally Purchased just 6-Months Ago In Canada, Are No Longer Worth Buying. Anne & I Refuse To Be Ripped-Off With The Combination Of Higher Prices & Shrinkflation.
Thank God We Can Afford To Eat Well . . . But we Cannot Afford to Pay as Much as Double the Price for Products which Include Usurious Prices & Diminished Sizes.
EVERYONE IS CHARGING TOO MUCH – IT IS FOOD EXTORTION:
Far Too Many Sellers Are On The Bandwagon . . . Charging More For Less.
I Understand That The Cost Of Transport Is Way-Up. I also Understand that the Cost of Food Production is Up . . . Just as I Understand the Price of Labor Has Increased Substantially – But In Many Cases, So Have The Profits Of People All Along The Food Chain.
It Is Just Too Much, and We (Anne & I) will Not Become Aiders & Abettors to this Food Morass by Contributing To-It. We Only Buy What We Need. We Search for Discounts & Coupons. And We Very Hardly Eat-Out For Various Reasons . . .
Restaurant Food Has Become A Rip-Off, where Two of us will Pay as Much as $30 or More for Two Hamburgers, Fries & Soft Drinks, which are Not Necessarily all that Healthy. I Understand that Restauranteurs Have Bills to Pay . . . The Cost of Food, Preparation, Rent, Franchise Fees, Taxes, Insurance, Light, Heat, Electricity, Labor – ETC . . . which is a Problem for the Restauranteur . . . But A Problem I Don’t Have To Pay-For.
Given the Fact that Anne & I Can Prepare the Same Two Burgers, Fries & Water at Home, with No Travel Costs, No Taxes, No Tips, and with Better Meat . . . for a Pittance of the Price of Eating-Out . . . Why Would We Want To Throw Away Our Money On Food That Isn’t As Good As We Can Prepare On Our Own?
Anne & I Are Social Animals. And we Love to Get Together to Break Bread with our Friends, which We do Often, but Instead of at Restaurants, we Do it at Home, where we Prepare Great Meals at a Fraction of the Price to Feed Several . . . Than It Costs To Eat-Out – Just For The Two Of Us.
THE ECONOMY IS A PROBLEM – BUT IT IS ALSO AN EXCUSE FOR EXPLOITATION:
Too Many People (Especially Global Corporations) are Taking Advantage of the Economy to Pump-Up their Costs Claiming No Choice, as they Either Make More Money, Or Refuse To Make Less. We all Have a Choice – Anne & I Have Made Ours.
Unless We All Take A Stand & Say No More Rip-Offs . . . The Rip-Offs Will Never End.

The biggest ripoff going on in Canada right now are liberals actually stealing conservative votes. If i i lived in Alberta I would vote for seperation ( in their upcoming referendum ), from a bunch of liberal thieves. Its all becoming too much.

We have to start with the understanding that the Straits are international water!! They don’t belong to Iran, Dubai or Oman. A win is to take over 2 island, Greater Tunb and Larak at the mouth of the Straits, which belonged to Dubai before Iran took it away and have international control of the going and coming through the Straits. A greater leverage, take Kharg island, now you have control of the Iranian economy, that is winning the war, not negotiating with a bunch of lying mullahs.

Fantastic editorial. I remember the early 70’s my groceries went from $7.00 per week to $30.00 per week but wages didn’t. The groceries never returned to original prices…that will happen this time around also. The packaging of groceries has changed also smaller amounts higher prices taking more of your money, also the food doesn’t taste the same. The food you get at the restaurants isn’t the same either. People walking away from their mortgages & homes. AND Carney doesn’t seem to CARE!!
