My apologies to Reed Scowen and Tommy Schnurmacher. They were both right. And it is far past the time for Canada to say bonjour to Quebec. And as long as the rest of Canada panders to Quebec, Canada is indeed not a real country.

What we have here is the most obvious type of pandering in a completely vain attempt to attract a Francophone readership that will never, I repeat, NEVER buy the Montreal Gazette.

Federal language policies are pushing Canada even closer to the edge.

In the 1970's, René Lévesque, Quebec's first Separatist Premier, used to say that Quebec should be as French as Ontario is English. I certainly didn't agree with him then, but I do now.

So many events, and so little time. Here are the few things I didn't write about previously, but nonetheless, are substantial and important. At least to me.

One day, the Americans are going to say enough is enough, and tell us Canadian freeloaders where to get off. Even now, the Americans are calling the British and the Australians their best friends. And why not?

The only truth that counts, is the truth that is heard throughout the land, and a truth that doesn't fade away under the glare of very bright lights. Only losers and slime lurk in the shadows.
