The Mainstream Media Has So Damaged Itself – Their Rehabilitation Is Likely Impossible.

Several Decades Ago – About 30-Years In Fact, I Sued Several Major Montreal Newspapers, Three French Publications & One English Daily for Running Government-Paid Propaganda Ads.

The Suit Went To The Advertising Council For Their Deliberation, which is a Pseudo Government/Media Agency Designed to Self-Regulate the Industry, which is Like Asking the Fox to Guard the Henhouse . . . Nonetheless – I Won.

However . . . After I was Informed by Telephone from the Council that my Suit was Successful, I was Also Directed Not to Make Public my Victory Over the Propagandized (Government) Misleading Media . . . The Advertising Council Would Deal With The Issue Internally.

THERE WERE TWO ISSUES WITH MY SUIT AGAINST THE MEDIA:

1 – The Government Of Quebec Willfully Purchased & Published Ads That Were Not True.

2 – The Media I Sued . . . Knowingly Ran Ads They Knew Were Not True.

I WAS TOLD TO TAKE THE WIN & KEEP IT QUIET:

Even Though the Advertising Council Admitted that the Media Lied, and Admitted that the Government Lied . . . To Them – It Somehow Should Have Behooved-Me To Also Lie, By Withholding The Truth By Joining Their Conspiracy Of Silence.

Asking Me To Join Their Club Of Propagandists, Was Akin To Waving A Red Cape In Front Of A Charging Bull . . . Not Only Would I Not Keep Silent, the Very Next Day, I Took to the Airwaves on my Montreal Radio Talk-Show (Galganov At High Noon) and Let all of them Have it with Full Barrels.

THERE IS NO HONOR AMONGST THIEVES OR THE MEDIA:

The Media Never Admitted Culpability . . . Of Taking Money from the Government to Run Ads they Knew were Not True . . . Nor Did They Ever Give Back The Dishonest Money . . . But Afterwards, they Editorialize on the Government’s Misinformation . . . Never Admitting Their Own Complicity.

Nothing Better Describes The Cowardice, Greed & Lack Of Integrity Within The Media.

Terrorist Hostilities Caused by the Palestinians Against the Lebanese Christians . . . Finally Led To A Full-Throated Civil War (1975-1982).

But By The Time The Lebanese Christians Began To Fight Back – It Was Too Late. The Lebanese Christians were Brutalized by the PLO Terrorists, But so were Israelis, as the PLO Used Lebanon as a Territory From Which they Could Indiscriminately Attack, Terrorize & Murder Jews in Israel.

Israel – Under the Command of General Ariel Sharon (Defense Minister), Entered the War & Drove Arafat and his PLO Thugs to Tunis, where Arafat Set-Up Shop.

Once Israel Met its Military Objective, Israel Pulled-Out of Lebanon Leaving & Arming Lebanese Christian Fighters Known as Phalangists to Police what was Left of Lebanon.

On September 16 – 17 1982 . . . The Israel’s Allowed the Phalangists to Enter Two Palestinian Refugee Camps (Sabra/Shatila) to Rout-Out Armed Terrorists, where the Phalangist Fighters Carried-Out a Massacre in Revenge . . .

ISRAEL DIDN’T DO IT . . . BUT LIKE ALWAYS – BLAME THE JEWS:

Israel Accepted Responsibility For The Massacre For Not Anticipating The Reaction Of The Phalangists. Nonetheless, the Entire World Blamed Israel & Ariel Sharon for Committing an Atrocity Israel Had Virtually Nothing to Do With.

It Was In Montreal . . . Where the French Teachers’ Union were Incredibly Aggressive a Day Before Ariel Sharon was to Visit Montreal for a Fund Raiser. to Speak at the Ritz Carlton Hotel on Sherbrooke Street.

Pro-Israel . . . Pro-Jewish Demonstrators Like Me . . . were Warned by the Police, the French & English Media, LEFTIST Jewish Groups & Reform Synagogues (No Less LEFTIST) – Not to Participate, Since there Would be Thousands of Anti-Israel (Anti-Semitic) French Demonstrators in Front of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, And Undoubtedly There Would Be Extreme Violence.

NOTHING HAS CHANGED & THE THUGS ARE STILL AT-IT:

Anne Begged Me Not To Go . . . And If I Insisted, I should Take our German Shepherd Dog Baron with Me for Added Protection. But I Did Go & I Didn’t Take Baron. And When I Got to the Hotel – there were 5,000 French Men on the Street and Only a Few Hundred Jews, Many of Whom were Holocaust Survivors, Elderly Jewish European Immigrants to Canada who Fled Communism, and a Handful of Young Boys & Girls (Older Teenagers).

Of The 5,000 French Men On The Street . . . They were all Armed, All in Uniform and All of them Ready to Deal with Whatever was Going to Happen . . . They Were The Montreal Police.

The School Board Thugs Never Showed-Up, Thinking there was Going to be a Massive Jewish Counter-Demonstration Accompanied by the JDL (Jewish Defense League). But None Of That Happened.

I Found Myself Standing On Sherbrooke Street . . . Surrounded by a Few Hundred Jews with Whom I had No Connection, Other than we were All Jews, Standing for Israel, Even If We Were To Be Beaten For What We Believed.

At Some Time During The Evening, Someone in the Jewish Crowd Began to Sing Israel’s (Judaism’s) National Anthem, Ha Tikvah – (The Hope), and Within Moments, we Were All Singing Ha Tikvah, While Tears Of Emotion Ran Down My Cheeks.
