Remarkably, In Just A Bit More Than 30-Days (October 29, 2024), Anne, the Falconater & I will be Heading South for the Winter to Myrtle Beach South Carolina, which is our ONLY Real Luxury Expense we Allow Ourselves (Or Could Afford) Over the Entire Year.

We Love Going South, and after Spending our First Year out of Ten Years Traveling to the American South for the Winter, Last Year, we Took a Chance on Myrtle Beach, and We Fell In Love with the State (South Carolina), the City, the Winter Temperatures (Not Too Hot, Not Too Cold, Not Too Wet & Not Too Dry), the Area, the Shopping, the Reasonable Retail Prices and the People . . . That I Can’t Tell You How Much Anne & I Are Looking Forward To Going Back.

In Preparation For The Long Drive South (1,000 Miles), and the Six-Months we will be Away from our Home in the North, there is a Great Deal of Prep-Work that Has to be Done, which Includes Medical & Dental Appointments, Prescription Drug Arrangements, Mail Forwarding, Truck & RV Prep Work (Oil, Filters, Tires, Springs, Shackles, Brakes, Bearings, General Maintenance & Repairs) . . . That We Wanted To Complete Now . . . Opposed To Rushing Just Before We Would Leave.

Finally – It’s Almost All Done. Now we Have to Prep the Property for Our Return in the Spring, which Isn’t Really a Big Job, But Has to be Done Nonetheless.

Also . . . I Needed A Brain Break From The Insanity Of Our National & International Politics. So – No More Excuses & I’ll Get Right To-It.
