I said this last week. Canada has ALWAYS been the 51st State. We’ve fooled ourselves into believing otherwise. We assemble what Americans invent. We leave our vast fortune of natural resources in the ground. We have a well-trained military but we rely upon America to defend us. We mock America and Americans every chance we get yet The Canadian Emperor has no clothes.Our Lib leaders admire China. So when Donald Trump said that America needs nothing from Canada I already knew that for decades.
I like the Sunday summaries. It helps me keep track of your important points.
Here’s a quickie: Some mealy-mouthed tv advertisers are adding “Proudly Canadian” to their ads. Since there’s actually little to be proud of, I would boycott their products. They ain’t gonna be puttin’ nuttin’ over on me.
Canada has made vastly important contributions to US medicine. It shared its land for wartime and peacetime defense installations. Its timber and minerals have benefitted US industries for decades. Its inventions have spurred US industry and growth, and it has contributed hundreds of ambitious people who crossed the border to work in science, medicine and industry, (including me)! How dare anyone suggest that Canada has nothing the US needs!!!!!!
We have lots to offer the states, it’s 10 provinces, a couple of territories, 41 million educated citizens and resources, safety, I see no reason to deal with China
