THE ABSENCE OF MAMDANI MADE A GREAT DAY GREATER:
Yesterday (Sunday, May 31, 2026) . . . I Spent a Good Amount of Time Watching the Israel Day Parade Live on a Fox New New York City Streaming Service on YouTube.
I Watched The Parade For Multiple Reasons.
1 – I Wanted To See-It.
2 – I Was Interested In The Overall Number Of People Who Would Attend.
3 – I Was Curious About The High-Profile People Who Would Be In The Parade.
4 – I Was Also Curious If There Would-Be Counter Demonstrators.
I Wanted To See The Israel Day Parade Because Of My Own Jewish Pride, Not that I think Jews should be More Proud of Ourselves than People of Other Faiths, Religions and Cultures, Who Should Be Proud Of Who They Are As Well.
I was Extremely Happy to See the Enormity of the Crowd, which Came Out to Show Ethnic Pride & Support for the Jewish People, who are Under Global Assault, Including in New York City, Which Is Governed Under A Communist, Islamic, Anti-Semitic Mayor (Mamdani).
IN CASE YOU DIDN’T SEE-IT . . . LET ME TELL YOU WHAT I SAW:
I Saw People In The Tens Of Thousands Marching On The Street (Fifth Avenue), Many of Whom were Middle Aged, but Many More who were Young, Representing Grade Schools, High Schools and even Universities.
I Saw Flags . . . Tons & Tons Of Flags – A Sea of Flags – Representing Israel and the Jewish People, Alongside a Comparable Sea of American Flags (Stars & Stripes), Both being Waved Proudly into the Wind by Jews who Were Proud to be Americans.
I Saw Smiling Faces. I Saw People who were Bursting with Joy to be in the Parade, and/or were Watching-It from the Sidelines.
I Heard Music, Singing, And Saw People Dancing On The Street And On The Floats.
I Heard Some Short Speeches Exalting America, Israel and the Freedoms they Give, which Guides us through the Torah, the Bible and the American Constitution.
ISRAEL’S NATIONAL ANTHEM IS CALLED “HATIKVAH” . . . THE HOPE:
In Spite Of Everything . . . Hope Is What I Saw & Heard All Along The Israel Day Parade Route.
WHAT I DIDN’T SEE OR HEAR . . .
I Didn’t See Pre-Manufactured Signs Filled With Graffiti, Foul Language, Threats Against Government Institutions, American or Otherwise.
I Didn’t See Or Hear Chants For Pro-Communism, Socialism or Purveyors of Terrorism . . . Local, Regional or International.
I Didn’t See The Promotion Of . . . Trans-People (Pseudo-Women With Dicks), Men who Compete Against Women, and the Right to Invade a Country Under the Auspices of “Undocumented” Immigration.
AT THE END OF THE DAY . . . I SAW THE BEST IN HUMANITY:
Yesterday . . . I Got An Email From The Conservative Party Of Canada . . . And It Started With . . .

I Am Not A Man Of Great Financial Resources. Anne & I Do our Best to Maintain the Pleasant Lifestyle we Share, but I Don’t Have to Tell You . . . In This Economy, Especially in Canada . . . It Isn’t Easy.
We Give Thanks Daily, that we Eat Well, Have a Roof Over our Heads and a Warm Bed Upon Which to Sleep. We Give Thanks for our German Shepherd Dogs (The Boys), Who We Can Pamper With The Best Of Food, Treats & Toys.

So for Anne & Myself, to be Able to Voice an Earned Opinion, we Have Been Members of the Conservative Party of Canada for Several Cycles, and Every Now & Then, when we can Afford to Give Several Dollars to the Conservative Party, We Do – in Addition to the Money we Spend on Other Worthwhile Social Interests.
I Don’t Have To Tell You . . . Money Is Tight, and there is just so Much to Go Around. But We Still Give, Just More Judiciously Than Years Ago, which Hasn’t Stopped the Conservative Party of Canada from Asking Me for Money . . . Almost Daily With Every Email They Send.
At First It Was Friendly Requests, since I’ve Donated in the Past. Then it Became a Need if I Wanted the Conservative Party to Succeed Against Carney, as if My Donation will Make the Difference. Then it became Deadlines of Must and a Guilt Trip . . . To The Email I Just Received – That Read . . . Final Notice.
I Have A Word Of Final Notice For The Conservative Party Of Canada, for Being so Callous, Rude, Insulting, Unappreciative for What they Have Already Received from Me . . . And An Attitude Just Shy Of Coercion.
The Next Conservative Party Email I Receive, Regardless of the Message, even if it Doesn’t Hustle Me for Money . . . Where it says Unsubscribe . . . Guess What I’m Going To Do?
No One Owes Me Anything. And I Certainly Don’t Owe Anyone A Freebie. And More to the Point, the Last thing I would Want to Do . . . is Lay a Guilt Trip on Anyone for Not Giving to me What I Didn’t Earn & Don’t Deserve.
THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY WOULD DO WELL TO TAKE MY LEAD:

Mr. G, you are by far more tolerant than I am, when it comes to political parties, I would have clicked on the ‘Unsubscribe’ button long time ago.
It is so sad to see the the Conservative Party has become so callous. If they want support it must be voluntary! Also great to read that the celebration was real not initiated or infiltrated by (I haven’t a nice word for that) Keep on keeping on Howard!
All Jewish or Pro-Israel marches and rallies are always well-behaved and grateful for their home nations. There is always a feeling of brotherhood with others. They never call for violence, never stomp on flags, never shout curses, never call for violence, never vandalize, never leave trash strewn about, never resort to violence or destruction. They are always peaceful, respectful, grateful and always leave the area clean. Not like the pro-Palestinian trash when they protest.

I SAW THE BEST IN HUMANITY: As an immigrant from europe who waited five years in 1945 to enter America LEGALLY, I never , in my wildest dreams, imagined this New York mayor was elected by the citizens of New York! Although I donated to the Conservative for about 20 years, I stopped about 2 years ago when I realized that the Conservative party was trying to amend Liberal proposals, not win the election or gain a majority. In other words, they were just wasting my money. If the Conservatives even get serious about winning an election – which I doubt – I will give to them again.
The incessant mail and email aggravation of both political parties and charities, indicating that even though I have contributed, essentially want even more (not Howard). is offensive, and a waste of paper and of my time!
Like you and Anne, I also have been a surporter of the Conservative Party of Canada for many years,(Our only Hope!). I have never received a demand, final notice or malicious solitication. It makes me wonder if you have been targeted by a fraudster. I have recently been targeted several times and fortunately recognized the pattern and sidestepped the trap. Just thinking!

Its not just the political parties…all of the various charities…and yes, many are very worthy, but give once and you will never stop hearing from them again! All donations should have an option to indicate it is a 1 time donation!

In light of your positive reporting on Israel Day perhaps you or your readers could help me as a Christian decide on a most worthy Jewish organization in CAN with Edm contacts that I could give some modest financial support with physical presence at events if I can. There are so many organizations but I wish to support the most effective promoting against antisemitic discrimination, anti-Israel sentiments, etc. I have given to 1 organization but not sure how effective they are.
Just returned from NYC, attending Israel Parade & Monday’s Jerusalem Post conference. Best speeches Monday were the defiant 82 year old Ron Lauder (Estee- Lauder; net worth 4.9 billion USD) and Danny Danon, Representative of Israel to the United Nations. Best part of parade was seeing NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch and former NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg proudly marching at the front. The NYPD did a great job at security during the parade and at JPost conference. Am Y’Israel Chai LeOlam Va’ed.
