I Grew-Up In A Household That Both Honored & Practiced This Tradition Without Fail. But Over the Years, from the Time Anne & I Married (52-Years Ago), the Sabbath Lighting Tradition Disappeared from our Normal Practice. Instead, Anne & I Left this Religious Exercise to the Jewish Households of Others . . . And Then it Dawned On Me.

Whether I Am Observant Or Not . . . My Entire Life Has Revolved Around the Thousands Plus Year History & Traditions of My Predecessors. And whether I Wish Not to be Reminded of Who I Am & From Where I’ve Come, The World Will Not Allow Me That Luxury.

In Canada . . . Depending on the Province, the City & Even the Community, it is Against the Law to Speak out Against Abortion, Sexual Dysphoria & Even Islam. But It Isn’t Against The Law To Educate Against Jews, Demonstrate Against Jews, Picket & Intimidate Jews Where They Live, Work & Pray.

But it is Against the Law in Many Canadian Cities for Jews to Counter Demonstrate in our Own Communities Against Anti-Semites . . .
