I resent Trudeau paying off the Canadian media with millions of my and others tax money. It is now working for Carney. When will the lefty voters see that Lib/NDP are out there for themselves first, and us taxpayers last?

Arnold, you’re very astute. Given all the evidence available to anyone with a pulse and at least 2 neurons colliding in his brain, the average Lib voter needs a check-up from the neck up. Canadians generally know nothing about politics and don’t even care, until one week before an election and all of a sudden they’re geniuses.

Right now , Canada lives like a poppar with TRILLIONS of dollars in the bank ( as in resources ). Wake up people , or lose it to someone else , who wants it more. Like China , Russia or the US. Our standards of living could be the best in the world. Several months ago it was such an easy conservative sell , but now we also have an economic war to deal with , and all the stupidity associated with it. The stars are no longer aligning. God help us.
In 1940 when Hitler occupied the Netherlands about 1 % of the population was in favour of it and expecting to get a better life. Some dissatisfied Canadians are also crying to be taken over by a big nation. I am glad it is obvious only a very small minority. Canada will become like Switzerland a independent wealthy country if we only could elect a strong majority conservative government .
Trump has given Canada a huge kick in the behind. We need to do all the things Howard siad and more to secure our prosperity or lose it. I do not believe the Liberals have what it takes to build pipelines, develop minerals in Ontario, etc etc etc. They will succumb to their old ways after they are elected and nothing will happen except more spending on social programs which we cannot afford. I hope the people get wise to Carney as he is not the saviour of Canada will fold like a cheap suit.
Much of what u say I hear in US news. Canadians don’t “live” politics & only seem to care just before an election. I do think Trump tried to “light a fire”. He may have accomplished it. Don’t underestimate the people.
