Perhaps send your article as an attachment to a letter to Pres. Trump. I wonder how he’s getting his info regarding Canada. He is so centered on the negatives in the US that he’s only seeing the bad in everything. I had hoped he’d learned via near assassinations to curb his denigration of others since it seemed it grew his faith; but alas, not so. I’m sorry he’s bad-mouthing our northern neighbor. Canadians hoped the good effects of Donald Trump’s election would be great for the USA, and by association, Canada, as well. Unfortunately, DJT’s painting of all Canadians with the same brush could very likely have disastrous results for the next election. Trump’s unjustified attack was ill advised and he missed the target, which should have been Trudeau alone. Now he has made himself the villan, and not Trudeau. Worse, he has jeopardized the election of a viable conservative PM.

A late night decision in mid-period of overtime tilted a decision for Canada. Canada bearing the brunt of recent US political reasoning showed its mettle, its fortitude, and won the day of US hockey challenge earning we hope a shred of respect again.
