On Superbowls, it is a non-event when you consider what DOGE is finding out. Never was interested in SuperBowls. As far as Canada becoming a 51st, I will leave that up to the politicians. What the U.S. needs is protection on the north from the Chinese, electricity, precious metals and more. The Chinese are exploring the Artic. In 1962, our $ was worth $1.10 U.S. Cdn. steel is bought by USA Co’s today for only 69 cents vs $1 for steel in USA. Trump naturally sees this as unfair. A 25% tariff only brings the Cdn. price up to 88 cents, still 12% less than the USA price. A proper nation does not need an artificially low currency to sell items but by the competitive quality of their product. Imagine Trump’s angst and the tariffs to mediate if the Cdn. $ drifts down to 50 cents! Canada’s 69 cent $ is the problem.
