A Lot More Needs To Change Than Just The Politics

NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT POLITICS - OR IS IT?
A SOCIETY WITH NO SELF-RESPECT CANNOT STAND:

If All Indicators Are True, Trudeau should Hand in his Resignation as early as Today, but Most Probably by the End of this Week, which Means he Can’t be Ousted, but it Doesn’t Mean that there Still Can’t or Won’t be a Non-Confidence Vote to Trigger an Early Election, As Early As This Late Winter Or Coming Spring.

It’s True That Trudeau Could Call To Prorogue Parliament (Suspend Parliament), which would Suspend all Bills from Being Presented or Debated in Parliament, Including a Non-Confidence Motion, which would Essentially Leave the Governance of Canada in the Hands of the Bureaucracy without any Legislation.

Whatever Is Decided Doesn’t Matter . . . For Trudeau & Trudeau’s Despicable Liberal Party, the Writing is on the Wall . . . For Them – Their Governing Days Are All But Done.

NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT POLITICS – OR IS IT?

The Following Is Not Necessarily Political . . . But Maybe It Is – Or Maybe It Should Be.

Certain Things Really Bother Me, Which For The Longest Time I Wanted To Write About . . . Well there is No Better Time than the Present, since Much of the Political Process is On-Hold in Canada and in the United States of America, as all the Wheeling & Dealing is Going-On in the Shadows, Until Trump Takes His Oath Of Office On January 20, 2025, And Until Trudeau Either Resigns Or Gets Kicked-Out Of Office.

The Drama Of Presidential Certification No Longer Really Exists, since After the January 6, 2021 Riots, the Rules Have been Changed Substantially to Make the Certification of the In-Coming President Far Less Contentious.

PLEASE INDULGE ME AS I RANT & RAVE ABOUT THINGS THAT BOTHER ME:

I Hate Lazy People Who Have Little Regard For Other People . . . Including Themselves.

The Following Applies to People with Money who Shop at the Expensive Food Stores & People who Have Less to Little Money who Shop at the Discount Food Stores. I Don’t Care if it is at Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club or Upscale Grocery Stores Like Publix, Trader Joe’s – Ec.

Every Grocery Store Has Shopping Cart Bibs, Spread-Out on their Parking Lots for the Convenience & Purpose of Returning Empty Shopping Carts . . . Yet, it Blows Me Away How so Many People, Regardless of Wealth & Stature – Dump their Carts Loosey-Goosey in the Parking Lots, Which Shows A Total Lack Of Respect & Disregard For Themselves & Everyone Else.

Remarkably – It Is In Texas . . . The Gun-Carry State – at Shopping Behemoths Like H-E-B, where I Have Always Seen the Most Polite & Responsible People Shopping. I Wonder Why That Is?

Anne & I Give Our Two Boys (The Falconater & The Mac-Attack) – Freedom in Dog Parks for them to Run & Play. And Even Though Most People who Use these Dog Parks are Decent, There Are No Shortage Of People Who Do Not Clean-Up After Their Dogs.

It Galls-Me When I See a Dog Owner who Watches his or her Dog as it Craps, and then Makes No Effort to Pick-It Up. Or who Doesn’t Watch his or her Dog(s) . . . Who Simply Moves-On To Let Other People Step-On-It – Or Clean It Up For Them.

As A Person Who Has Spent A Great Deal Of Time Traveling By Car For Business & Pleasure, it Irks the Hell Out of Me When I Signal to Cut-Into Another Lane & a Driver (Not All . . . But Too Many) . . . Just Behind Me, Speeds-Up to Block my Lane Change, As If Allowing The Second Or Two Of My Maneuver Will Change His Or Her Life.

It Also Pisses Me Off When Drivers Ahead of Me Make a Turn Without Signaling, Or Signal Once They’re Already In The Turn.

The Other Day . . . I was in Line at a Cash Register with Products I Wanted to Pay-For (A Dozen Plastic Bottles Of Single Serving Orange Juice). I was the Only Customer in Line. The Cashier was Busy Chatting with Another Employee About Whatever.

She Stood Not More Than 5-Feet From Where I Was Standing With My Produce, and Instead of Taking a Few Steps to Check-Me-Out, She Told Me . . . In the Same Amount of Time it Would Have Taken for her to Finish my Transaction . . . That She’ll Be Just A Few More Minutes & Went Back To Her Conversation.

I Left My Purchase On The Counter & Walked-Out . . . I Can Buy Juice Anywhere.

I Hold The Door Open When Someone Is Behind Or In-Front Of Me, When Going In or Coming Out of a Building. It’s the Decent thing to Do. It’s Remarkable How Many People Don’t Do-It.

I Really Dislike Loud People . . . They Are Vexatious – Who Think their Voices should be Heard Everywhere by Everyone, Especially Once they Have a Few Drinks in them . . .  at Restaurants, RV Parks and Other Common Areas, Who Laugh & Scream Like Hyenas, As If Their Humor Should Be Shared With The World.

I Detest Commercials On Television . . . that Blare so Much Louder than the Regular Programming, that their Decibel Levels Become Annoyingly Offensive. Thank God For The Mute Button.

I Hate Paying More For A Product, Only to Discover that there is Less of it in the Package. I Also Won’t Buy a Product I Like, which Becomes Unreasonably Priced Even if I can Afford-It. I Have An Aversion To Being Ripped-Off.

I Don’t Like Being Asked to Give a Tip on my Credit Card at a Fast-Food Restaurant . . . or When I’m Just Picking-Up my Order – And I’m Usually A 20% Tipper.

PLENTY OF WEB SITES EXIST WHERE YOU CAN GET YOUR CARNAL THRILL:

I Don’t Like Turning on the Television to Watch a Production & Have to Sit Through it, Especially if it says Recommended For Audiences 14-Plus . . . Featuring Soft Porn (And Sometimes More Than Soft Porn) Between the Actors, as if it is Important to the Storyline, any More than Having to Watch Two Men or Two Women Making-Out. What Happened To The Good Old Days When You Couldn’t Say Pregnant On Television?

THERE IS NO WHORE LIKE A SELF-SERVING WHORE:

I Really Didn’t Like the Fact that Hillary Clinton & George Soros were Honored this Past Week by Joe Biden for Being Exemplary Americans.

One Is A Cheat . . . The Other Is A Vehement Self-Hating Jewish Anti-Semite – And Neither of them Deserve to Polish the Shoes of Honest-To-Goodness Working-Class Americans.

I HATE HYPOCRITES:

To Finish It All Off . . . Jimmy Carter Was One Of The Most Failed Presidents in American History, Next to Barak Hussein Obama & Perhaps the Worst President Ever – Joe Biden.

Yet . . . In Spite Of All The Terrible Harm Carter Did To America, Carter will be Buried with Great Honors, as if his Life was Worth Something Beyond his Post Presidential Participation in Habitat For Humanity.

If That’s All It Takes To Be Remembered As A Great Person – There are Millions of Good People who were and are Far Greater than Jimmy Carter.

Whew . . . Now That I’ve Got That Off My Chest – I’ll Write Next About Something Political.

Best Regards . . . Howard Galganov

  1. TV: MOST ads are for pharmaceuticals; especially ‘fruits and veggies’. It’s easy to get my fruits and veggies from real fruits and veggies; don’t need a pharmaceutical!!

  2. You must be a mind reader because you printed what has been on my mind. Good work and thanks for verifying that my beliefs are exactly the same as yours. I wonder how many people are thinking the same things.

  3. Well, Maybe there is one advantage to you not being a Christian. If you Prayed about all that you would tire out my Christ Jesus…..LOL *I could add more to your list!

  4. I, for one, Harry Winkler! Thanks, HG. Sometimes a palate cleanser is necessary.

  5. jimmy carter was our first all communist president. barak obama was our first muslim terrorist president that was the puppit to the likes of george soros , and others and the bush family wasn!t far behind. They all took the oath of office to defend our constitution and all ignored it in one way or another. My hope is now that trump can work with both houses of congress. get rid of the waste and make america first.

  6. Steve Bannon said he wasn’t kidding about the White House needing an exorcism after Soros and Hillary were given the medal of freedom, I agree.

  7. Howard, regarding careless people who don’t put their shopping carts in the reserved spaces in parking lots or worse still abandon them in the street a few blocks from the store maybe we should have this European model. I was in Belgium a few years ago visiting relatives and went shopping at a supermarket. All carts were locked up. You got one when you put down a small deposit, a coin in a machine. You got your deposit back when you returned the cart to its proper place.

  8. Howard, Thanks again for speaking truth for many of us. A good cleansing with the truth really feels good!

  9. There have been some fantastic inventions and the mute button is one of them.

  10. Most people are very good but a few jackasses _________________

  11. I agree with all you said, your list of pet peeves is a lot like mine. It would be great to get rid of trudeau and biden in the same month. It would also have been great if there were no transition period where a so-called lame duck could wreck havoc as biden has done. Thanks for all you do.

  12. Pretty much in agreement with your list(s). I remember a few decades ago an advertising executive said the commercials are turned up so you can still hear them when you go to the bathroom. Happy New Year and good by to PM Trudeau and Pres. Biden. And lastly as bad as the presidents you listed were, they can only aspire to 2nd place as Pres. Buchanan (1857-61) did nothing to prevent the Civil War. As I like to say in the motorcycle world, Ride On!

  13. On the subject of annoyances! It really gets to me to see a Man, Father or Grand Father sitting in a restaurant with his hat or cap on. Even more so if they are accompanied by a young child. Rude or bad drivers are next on my list; ie, 30 in a 50 zone or stopping in a traffic circle when no vehicles are in view!!!

  14. Great dissertation Howard, You hit on many things I was thinking, but You said it best.

  15. Jimmy Carter was a failed Christian for the simple reason that he hated Jews and Israelis. He was a terrible politician. He is not deserving of the honors being bestowed on him.

  16. Trudeau has announced his resignation, so that’s done. He’s soon gone. As is Biden. I’m wondering what stunt Biden will pull on Jan 20. / I hear your annoyances, but: “In relationship to the rest of your life, how important is this one thing?” Sometimes helps one to move on. / Jimmy Carter was an awful president, but I don’t think he hated America & Americans – as Biden does. And Carter did do a lot post-presidency. What other president has?

  17. So, Howard, tell us how you really feel about driving through roundabouts. 🙈

  18. I agree with your comment today. My issue is with Hannity, a program I watch every day, including with his guest hosts. I can’t stand his overly long questions to his guests. I may listen to the first minute or two to see what the topic is then immediately go to his guests to hear what they have to say. And if they tend to repeat themselves in answering Hannity’s question, I go listen to the next guest. Honestly, Hannity would be a better host if he asked a direct question without any dialog!

  19. 100% in full agreement. Thank you for being so articulate.

  20. These are my detestable, too. No wonder I love reading your opinions!! They align so well with mine! It’s good to feel vindicated! And congratulations as the weenie, Trudeau, did resign today. But like my country’s present evil regime, Trudeau and his henchmen will try to screw with Canada on their way out. Hold firm. Positive change is coming sooner rather than later.

  21. Raymond Hansen – You are off by a tad – anyone who voted for Bobble Head Biden. H.G. – Please add these to your list: #1 Car pulls into the left turn intersection, light changes, car does not turn! #2 Car traveling in left (passing) lane at or below speed limit and stays there enjoying the music on his radio with his thumb you know where. #3 Aldi’s from Germany has stores in the states. Quarter (25 cents) required to unlock cart. Great blog, keep sharing your kernels of wisdom!

  22. I can add one more to the list. I hate chincy portion sizes at a restaurant and they raised the price. When I see that, I never go back.

  23. The Peanut farmer did more damage to my early career than any other president. President Regan got it right and I was able to recover and prosper. I still wear a 30 year old worn out shirt with president Regan’s face on it. Local pizza parlor has a tip jar at the reception desk. Unreal

  24. I couldn’t pass this one up: “I really dislike loud people.” Good example: Tim Walz. I use to “bar hop” a lot when I got out of the service until I got married [about four years]. About 98% of those bars were like “Cheers” and had at least one Tim Walz. Really, I can’t understand how anyone could have a “friend” like him.

  25. Amen, Howard!! We share alll of the same pet peeves/frustrations. And so glad to see that Trudeau resigned today.

  26. 100% agree w/your blog & many similar comments.Trudeau didn’t resign as P.M. only the leadership. Preroguing approved, he’s good to end of March & DO NOT TRUST his lover Singh. With clever manouvering & political stunts he could remain PM until October. He will be chief negotiator w/USA on threatened tarrifs. In Cornwall I am pleasantly surprised by the number of courteous young people holding doors for very senior me. Inflation 2% yr/yr is BS. Most groceries have doubled over the past year.

  27. We are all suffering from DEI, WOKE, QUOTAS, BLM, WHITE SUPREMACY, ANTI-SEMITISM, PRO-HAMAS, ETC. These are all propaganda tricks for the Marxists to take us down, pit us against each other (forget being an American citizen), make so many think they should get welfare/food stamps paid for by a tax paying workers, and “it all comes from the government”. NO!!! it is off the backs of worker’s taxes.
