WHY ALBERTA’S ELECTION IS A GREAT PRECURSOR FOR AMERICA’S 2024:
Alberta Is One Of Two Federally (Very) Conservative Provinces In Canada – The Other is Alberta’s Eastern Neighbor Saskatchewan. Both Alberta & Saskatchewan are Wealthy Provinces Blessed with Oil, Natural Gas, Cattle and an Abundance of other Natural Resources – Such As Wheat (Agriculture) & Potash In Saskatchewan.
Both Provinces Have Been The Historical Piggy Banks For The Rest Of Canada. And Both Provinces, which Aren’t Huge in Population, Have Also Been Canada’s Punching Bags from Both the East and the West . . . But Most Specifically From Quebec & Ontario – Two Liberal Bastions.
BUT ONE PUNCHING BAG ON MONDAY . . . DECIDED TO PUNCH BACK!
That’s Not To Say Saskatchewan Doesn’t Stand-Up . . . But Alberta’s The King.
On Monday (May 29, 2023), the People of Alberta Went to the Polls to Vote for a New Provincial Government, which Until Monday was Governed by the UCP (United Conservative Party Of Alberta) – However . . . Even though the Albertans Always Vote Nearly Unanimously for Federal Conservatives During National Elections, in a Strange & Quirky Way, the Two Major Alberta Cities (Edmonton & To A Lesser Degree Calgary) Vote for the NDP (New Democrat Party), which is a LEFTIST Political Party More Akin with the Current American Democrats.
And Four Years Previously . . . It Was The NDP Which Ruled The Roost In Power.
The NDP Are Socialists, who Adhere to the Globalist Trend of One World Government, Climate Change, an Over Abundance of Regulations & High Taxes. The UCP are Mostly Hard-Core Conservatives, Who Are Ideologically Opposed To The LEFTIST NDP.
While In Power – The NDP Destroyed Much of the Fabric of Alberta & Promised Convincingly, that if Elected, This Time Will Be Much Different.
All That Said . . . The Smart Money On Who Would Win The Election Was On The NDP.

Some of it Deserved, Some of it Not . . . The Greater Population Of Rural Albertans Came Forward To Give Danielle Smith & The UCP A Comfortable Victory.
Edmonton Went All Out For The NDP . . . With Much Of Calgary Following In Lockstep.
Smith Is A Libertarian – Not Particularly A Conservative . . . But Very Much Conservative where it Counts in Terms of Spending, Minimal Regulations & More Personal Freedoms, All Of Which Really Irks The LEFT.
Smith is Also a Huge Booster of the Oil & Gas Industry – and an Avowed Opponent to Canada’s Communist Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
A Vote For The NDP Would Have Been A Vote For Trudeau’s Brand Of Canadian Communism.
The Fact that Smith Won the Alberta Election . . . Was A Massive Loss For Trudeau & Trudeau’s Socialist Liberals . . . And an Enormous Step-Up for Canada’s other Less Powerful Conservative Provinces.
Smith Had Made It Clear During Her Campaign . . . that She was Going to be Canada’s Un-Official Opposition to Trudeau’s Overreach – Against Trudeau’s Policies of Gun Seizures, Suffocating Carbon Taxes, War on Oil & Gas, Onslaught of Regulations – ETC.
Smith Had Also Made It Clear . . . If Elected, Smith would Not Allow Trudeau to Seize the Guns Legally Owned by Albertans. And Smith would Not Allow Trudeau to Cap the Development of Alberta’s Oil Industry . . . Nor the Expansion of Alberta’s Pipelines.

Good for Alberta voters – an in-your-face to Trudeau & leftists. As for the debt-ceiling so-called deal McCarthy seems proud of, there are a number of Republicans who may vote it down & it will not fly after all. We shall see. I wonder if it will wind up producing that “one GOP member” who can call for McCarthy’s removal. He’s skating on thin ice right now. Of that too, we shall see.
What I want to know is why President Trump is exploding at Kayleigh McEnaney. DeSantis, I understand, but Kayleigh?? The way I see it, and I could be wrong, RFK Jr is the one could possibly attract Independents away from President Trump. He is very liberal but says the right things. One thing is that he believes all those who don’t believe in climate change should be in jail. Just my 0.02$ worth!
I am very pleased that Danielle Smith won the Alberta election. She did it in spite of the negative propaganda by the main stream media, the Trudeau Liberals and their clingons (NDP). The provincial NDP had declared communist members as candidates. Absolutely shameless. How un Canadian can one get?
I’ve lived in Alberta most of my life & was worried about a NDP win. I believe many people realized that a vote for the NDP was a vote for the Fed. NDP & a positive vote for Libs. I’ve hoped that our Alberta Leaders would move toward a more independent position, away from Ottawa. I am hopeful that Smith will be the leader to do that. It will be a hard haul but I believe it will benefit, not just Alberta but perhaps other Can. Prov. too. I’m concerned about my fam, but believe they’ll manage
Hurrah for Alberta! A pox on all those House Republicans who have, this evening, allowed the debt ceiling bill to move forward! McCarthy was all smiles in the photo I saw. Wonder whether all that negotiating before he was elected Speaker was just theater after all?
What McCarthy did is normal Politics, I wonder how much cash will flow into his pockets. Raising the Debt Limit is bad for this country, the amount of cuts is so small they will not make a difference. Our country is being lead by a bunch of used car salesman. They will say anything to make the sale, then run an hide when the car breaks down. I hope Ms. Smith works out for Alberta and is not a Wolf in Sheep clothing. I do not Trust the news folks at all, they turn on each other all too easy.
So very happy for this news. Alberta voters may well be the heroes who stop the new world order megalomaniacs in their tracks! I just wish the democrats in my country who go along with this non-progessive, non-woke ideology would wake up to what is REALLY happening to our country’s government and the awful political course they have chosen for us. Congratulations to all those wise voters who chose to put in a UCP candidate rather than the NDP, a vote against Trudeau and his communistic Ryle.
I’m glad AB chose to be strong and hopefully free from the federal tyranny the Fed Gov under Trudeau is putting us under. Praying for Smith and the Alberta Gov to continue to block Trudeau’s efforts to put the Canadian citizenry into communist slavery and for freedom under God to reign.

So glad for Smith but the NDP will be in every corner to counter anything she wants to do, I believe Smith is strong and will make the Western Prov’s. stronger and give them HOPE!
