Russia was In-Favor of the Declaration, because the Russians Had Assumed that Israel would Become a Communist Nation, which is Partly Why the United States of America, Amongst other Anti-Semitic Reasons . . . Was Fully Against The Declaration Of Israel Becoming A Sovereign Nation.

And True To Form . . . Israel Became a Socialist Country that Depended on Charity from the Jewish Diaspora (World-Wide). Every Jewish Home in Canada, and I Assume in the United States of America, Had a Sealed Tin-Can in the Kitchen, Called a Pishka, which was (Is) a Charity Box, In Which We Put In Whatever Loose Change We Had In Our Pockets.

When The Pishka Was Full, We would Turn-It-Over to the Charity of our Choice, which in my Younger Years . . . Was To The Fledgling State Of Israel.

In Jewish Sunday Classes . . . We (The Children) were Given a Sheet of Paper with an Empty Design of a Tree with Images of Empty Leaves, that we Would Buy Leaf Stickers for at $0.05 Each, Until we Bought Enough Stickers (40) to Turn the Sheet-In at a Value of $2 . . . For Nothing Other Than Approbation – That We Did Something Good For Israel.

When It Came To Israel . . . All Jewish Hands Were On Deck – Including Poor & Wealthy Jews who Contributed all they Could, While in the Meantime, Israel Struggled as a Socialist Country just to Keep the Lights-On.

It Wasn’t Until Menachem Begin Became Israel’s First Conservative Prime Minister In 1977 . . . Under the Likud Party that Begin Founded Previously, Israel Began To Move Towards Becoming Less Socialist & More Capitalist.

EVERYONE LOVED ISRAEL WHEN ISRAEL NEEDED GLOBAL APPROBATION:

It’s At About That Time Israel Went From The Little Engine That Could To The Regional Pariah.

This Trend Continued Under Yitzhak Shamir – Also Very Conservative, and Like Menachem Begin, Shamir was a Member of Likud . . . Until Netanyahu, the Current Prime Minister of Israel, Who First Took Office (The First Time) In 1996 . . . Turned Israel Into A Capitalist Economic Miracle.
