Yesterday Was One Of The Better Days.
Even though we (Anne & I) are still Recovering from this Dreadful Health Malaise (Flu/Covid – Whichever), Anne and I were Able to Take the Two Boys (The Falconater & The Mac Attack) for a Longish Walk/Run (Unleashed) through the Hundreds of Acres of Farm Fields just Behind Us.
Very Often . . . When You are Feeling so Low that You Can’t Imagine Ever Feeling Good Again . . . Know that Almost Everything Passes, with the Expectation that Life will Always be Worth Living.
At 75-Years Old, I Laid Down in a Growing Hayfield as the Two Dog Monsters Ran, Played and Wouldn’t Give me a Second of Peace . . . Not to Forget that my Partner in Crime (Anne) also Laid Down in the Growing Hay . . . Both Of Us Sucking-In The Pleasure Of Living, Knowing That Tomorrow Will Be An Even Better Day.

One Of Our Great Pending Fears Since Trump’s January Executive Order On Immigration . . . Has Had to do with the all the Extreme Rules & Regulations we (All Canadians) are Being Inundated with Vis-à-Vis Crossing the US Border – If We Intend To Stay In America Beyond 30-Days, as we Have Done for More than 10-Years (5.5-Months) During Subsequent Winters, Excluding Two Covid Years, where Anne & I Spent the Winters in British Columbia.
According To All The Information . . . There Seemed to be a Mandate for Special American Forms to be Filled-Out by Canadian Snowbirds, which Once Approved by Homeland Security, Must be Carried on the Person of the Canadian at All Times While Visiting the United States.
Problem Is . . . The Forms Are Ridiculous From A Canadian Perspective. They are Intrusive, Contradictory & Demeaning, which Only Added to the Number of Canadians who Have Made their Coming Winter Travel Plans Away from the United States, which is a Terrible Result.
Also – Because of the Anti-Canadian Tariffs, Defamation & Anti-Canadian Ridicule Heaped on Canada from President Trump (51st State, Beggar Nation, Useless Neighbor Etc-Etc) . . . Canadian Cross Border Travel Into The United States Has Plummeted To The Great Cost Of American Border States.
Anne & I Are Hoping This Will All Blow-Over, Because we are Far Too Close as Friends, Neighbors & Family to Let Trump’s Bullshit Art Of The Deal – Damage the Greatest International Relationship Ever.
Where Have We Heard This Nightmarish Immigration Scenario? . . . Everywhere!
It Is In All The Canadian Media – Radio, Television, Newspapers & Throughout the Internet. It is Also Helter-Skelter on American Immigration Websites that are More Confusing than Informative.
In Essence . . . It Appears the Entire Force of Communication is Aligned to Dissuade Canadians from Spending their (Our) Winters South of the Canadian Border in any of Many Warm US States.
We Also Know First Hand, Because of the Animosity Trump’s Rhetoric Has Caused, and the Cost of the Canadian Dollar Compared to the Value of the US Dollar, Plus Canada’s 25% Counter-Tariff On All Imported Goods To Canada, Including Groceries If The Canadian Traveler Was In The United States For Less Than 48-Hours.
Because We Live Less Than An Hour From The American Border, we Know that the Constant Traffic that Always Existed through the US Border from Canada has been Reduced to a Trickle . . .
But It Gets Even More Ludicrous, as we Read, Hear & See in Canadian Media, that Canadians Crossing the Border into America Run the Risk of Having their Cellphones Seized, are Subject to Arrest, and on the Return Trip to Canada, will (Might) be Subject to a Search on the American Side of the Border.
If You Were A Canadian, and this is What Most of the Canadian Media is Telling You, Backed-Up by the Internet . . . How Excited Would you be to Visit a Country that Obviously Doesn’t Want You?

Whenever people talk about Trump’s tariffs, they forget that it is a two-word phrase — RECIPROCAL TARIFFS. Check and you will see that Canada has been charging the U.S. tariffs for years. And, please also remember that Canada is now a captured globalist nation right on the U.S. border. What the Trudeaus (both father and son) have done to Canada is unconscionable.

When I was a teacher, I made sure to give all my students the tools they would need to think for themselves-critical thinking and listening skills and using brain strategies to teach these skills. Providing time to learn how to properly do research was another important part of my curriculum. AND I am glad you found out that the awful news made up by the media is just a load!! We want you to visit.
well I am in my late 7th decade, back in the early 60’s my friends had a poor attitude towards Americans that was fed to the population by the liberal gov about how much our attitude was superior to our neighbors and so on and so forth, Trump fed into that old dormant feeling. I just returned from visiting my son and his family in South Carolina and welcome a new member to his family, we went through the border easily, wasn’t sure about the length of stay so we just told the agent we may be
