You just summed up what I concluded awhile ago that most politicians and most of the media are pretty much whores. It has never been more difficult in a person’s daily life to determine what is real and what is not. I created a teaching unit while teaching entitled “How to think and determine reality.” For a country to function and its populace to know what is really going on they need to know how to think and to determine reality. I wish luck to all free countries to achieve this.

I believe we need to cut the entire government by 50% in every office, every state, every county…..that will get us back to scratch. and then hopefully they will all be so busy with real work.

Our problem is a totally dumbed down electorate with far too many lemmings, who buy into the media propaganda. Just consider Pennsylvania. On another note, now, with a Republican majority in the House, we’ll see the reps play nice guy, so as to not get bad publicity from the media — or miss out on the DC party circuit. McCarthy is hardly any better than McConnell.
Most politicians are just two sides of phony cards. Send me your money and I promise too… BS, We send them money to make laws that go against Morality. They have huge parties with their drug friends, take the lobby money and become rich while laughing at the common folk. Our elections are a media joke, dishonest, fixed and run by phonies. You are CORRECT! I have never seen so much lying, conniving, shucking and jiving ever in my life time. Term Limits are a priority, The ‘common’ person is not being represented. It is the Politician’s own agenda being enhanced by OUR donations. PACs need to be monitored too. This country is out of control and not one of them knows what the Constitution actually says and means. Paper Ballots, no machines, for voting process. This election was another travesty.

Mr. G, I agree with every word of this post. Almost every election I end up voting for the least objectionable candidate, (as best I can determine). It is not always thr Republican candidate but I lean that way.
