Trump did the same thing in Gaza. What is he scared of, killing the bad guys? Radical Islamists think in terms of decades and centuries. Time is always on their side. Especially now, when Western Nations don’t have the balls to admit that a cultural war is at stake. Wouldn’t it be a remarkable military strategy to split your enemy into two warring factions that fight each other? Let’s keep it simple. The “deal” that was made is nothing more than a capitulation, and a complete shanda, likely prompted by falling domestic support, and a complete disregard for our ally, and combat companion Israel, and the Persian population of Iran (to whom he promised that “help is on the way”). As I have repeatedly stated, Trump wants to be the big deal maker. He does not understand with whom he is “negotiating”. Deal gets signed, next day IRGC does what it wants. The Persians remain screwed. Promises to help them, well, just promises. President Trump wants to broker peace in the world. Netanyahu wants peace for his country’s citizens. These two great leaders are not, in my opinion, at odds with each other. Am I a Jew who believes peace deals with the Iranian terrorists has little chance to be a reality? Yes.
