Saudi Arabia & UAE are rooting for Israel to become the dominant superpower in the ME. The Saudis, however, will only put pen to paper on the Abraham Accords if they are made certain of Israel’s invincibility by Total Defeat over Hamas, adequate defanging of Hezbollah, the guarantee that Israel is no longer dependent upon the USA for offensive weapons, and a Trump victory in Nov. The Middle East cannot afford another Democratic administration with significant daylight between it and Israel.
Unlike Israel which has a defensive dome, Iran is very susceptible to attack as was proven by Israel’s first retaliation. As you point out, without the ability to export oil, Iran is economically dead. Some in the leadership of Iran are not stupid.
Watching the News has depressed me, Howard, and I had to increase my Blood Pressure medication. But thanks to your very informative and top-notch Editorial (as always) gave me a lift. Expectations are rife. Iran claimed high the branches. Today the Mullahs are testing nuclear detonators. Israel does not need to do that. If or when Iran attacks it will harm Israel. But Iran could well cease to exist. Without nuclear devices. 2 months window. Islam on its Jihad mode is a scourge.
I am still very concerned about the honesty of the election. I believe we are in biblical times right now and many nations will go against Israel in (probably) the very near future. Has Israel ever lost? NO. Why, because God will intervene and will win.
