They’re Not Children of WWII Era Dutch People, and None of them are Children or Grandchildren of People from Holland who Survived the War. And it’s Extremely Doubtful that any of these Children even Have a Great Grandparent who was Alive when the Allied Troops Sacrificed Everything to Liberate the Netherlands.

Everyone agrees with the adage of remembering history or dooming to repeat it, but very few actually do it. In our self-centered world, too many have no clue what happened before them to build our present societies & no desire to find out. History is the single most important topic to be taught and it is often relegated to only a secondary course if one feels like it. Any education system that does not teach WW2 and other important, shaping topics of our lives is a failed & meaningless system.
NEVER FORGET! NEVER WILL! NM gov needs immediate impeachment. You are absolutely correct about cleaning out the rotten wood of the republican party. Not dead wood by rotten wood. Dead means their was life. Rotten is what is left after decay of dying. My Gdaugher’s senator, I like but his aides I do not. They spent more time finding why they could not help vs helping me. Cruz needs a cleanout. Our education system needs a total overhaul.
A number of years ago I spent a week in Vilnius, Lithuania. One of the places I visited was a holocaust museum. Being one of only a small handful if people there that day, I visited with a wonderful, older lady docent and one of the many things we talked about concerned one of their missions which was to ensure that each and every generation of Lithuanians new of the atrocities and genocide perpetrated by the Nazis. We in America should do the same.
I’m too old to fight now, and in poor health. But I know enough of history to understand that my war,(Vietnam), was a lie, and how my government lied about most things that now are becoming clear since– have an evil agenda! NEVER TRUST YOUR GOVERNMENT!–Deny them power, resist in any way you can—Especially by voting!–and trust that GOD has a plan.
Hard to believe it’s been 22 years. A solemn day for sure. It is still difficult to remember watching the events on TV as they were happening. It was terrifying, unbelievable, tearful, and horrifying as I saw the woman falling after she jumped out a window. It was maddening as I later saw what looked more like a missile (low flying over parking area) just before it hit the Pentagon. I feel we may never know the whole truth of that day, just like JFK’s assassination…still under seal.
There are many things that have been pushed to the background historically. I was in Armenia in 2013 doing some work for TWR. While there I visited their museum. In 1913 -14 the Turkish Empire tried to eliminate the Armenians. They killed up to 1.5 million. When I asked a lady at the museum she replied through her tears that Hiltler just copied and improved what the Turks attemped. Mans inhumanity to man still continues today in many places. We all need to be in prayer!
The problem with the Republican party is, they will not get down in the “gutter” and fight fire with fire. They wimp away like puppies that have just been scolded, that is why Trump is so popular- He gets down in that gutter and slugs it out with the low lives, George Patton said ” Americans love a winner”, Trump is a winner and the fight won’t be over until he is out of the picture and that is why the Dems are doing what they are doing to him, I believe he will win and win big.
I was working and told not to bother my boss who was having a big meeting. Since I knew it was on our Front reception area I knocked and told him he had to come see this.He thanked me and they all left. I called home my brother was there and he I am not allowed to say what agency he was with but he could not get out of Ga due to all planes grounded. So he hired a car and drove from Ga to D.C. Forget that day? Never and the Americans we lost Never. It should be taught in schools.
Just read that only about 36 states teach the history of 9/11 or Patriots Day. Much less this Friday (Sep. 15) being National MIA – POW Recognition Day. And we have a so called President caught in another lie saying he visited Ground 0 – when he did not. First President to not show up to recognize the date and making a deal with Iran on the same day! While they are building a airbase next to Israel in Lebanon. This is the worse bunch anyone could ever imagine for our country.
I was watching the Weakist Link with my wife. A 30 something woman was asked Which President received a Purple Heart while in the Military? She did not know, JFK. My wife and I could not believe it but over the years we have seen and heard of folks that do not know History. Our schools are more interested in Diversity, Gender, and Gay Rights. You are right about the Rep Party, it needs to be cleaned out but because of Corruption in Government it will not happen without Civil War. God Help Us.
