You are absolutely correct! Where does our famous Trudeau “Charter of Rights” designate how those Rights are to be defended by Obligations? Are we not obliged to impose Obligations not to assault, not to cheat (scam), not to lie, not to mislead, not to unjustly tax, or any of the other things that politicians regularly and improperly do once they have gained the power to do so?
Your stories of Tavor’s protection of you and Anne are awesome – at least Tavor’s part in it. Makes me want to get another German Shepherd. I really miss Duchess, who was protective as well but nothing like Tavor. And she wasn’t his size at all either. But we had a friend who had a male German Shepherd who would hold a fully inflated football in his mouth with no effort. The so-called barbarians brought all crime to a dead stop in a day when the corrupt and violent Roman empire came crashing down by a simple method. All crimes became a capital offense. I’m not suggesting that for jaywalking but for child sex trafficking and its customers it would certainly work. I came across an interesting statistic recently. The U.S. is number three in the world for violent crime but when you take five American cities out of the equation (all Democrat). It’s number 197.
You spoke of protesters! Several years ago while attempting to cross from South Miramichi to North on a major Highway, I was stopped by the local Police and told that the Bridge was closed. Why? The Natives were having a Pow Wow “In the middle of the Bridge” . The Clowns, City Government, had succumbed to this idiotic demand and allowed the closure of a main artery to Northern N.B. I reside in Las Vegas and have been here since 2012, relocating from Socialist California. I have had some minor confrontations with some bad ilk in Clark County. My command presents thwarted their probable negative ideas. And my back up is .45 caliber, if you know what I mean. Although an octogenarian, I keep aware of my surroundings.
In our current world, you would be a fool not to carry some sort of protection. Idaho is a state where you can open carry, this a lone deters most. CA residents that move here need to play heed and not bad mouth us locals who do carry. Crime is off the chart in Dem lead cities because if you choose to fight back you will be charged with a crime. Good thoughts, as usual! Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain! My heart hurts for the average Ukrainian citizen, but I think that war, like much else, is an orchestrated distraction. If we’re focused on X, we may not realize Y and Z. While I may wish to see punishments handed down, I would be satisfied to simply relieve every last one of those evil politicians, and their acolytes, of ANY vestige of power! Interested to know your thoughts on a possible Convention of States.
