WE HAVE TO LOOK AT THE COMPLETE PICTURE:

It’s easy for most of us to Look at the Democrats, Civil Servants and Greater Bureaucracy, to see them all as Members-In-Good-Standing Of The Swamp. But that’s only the Tip of the Iceberg.

HERE’S A REALITY CHECK . . .

The ONLY DIFFERENCE Between MOST Republicans, and Virtually ALL Democrats, is which Special Interest (Lobby Group) Pulls their Respective Strings? And I do mean the Entire Congress . . . The House & The Senate.

I ASSURE YOU . . . That Regardless of Democrat or Republican, THEIR FIRST LOYALTY belongs to their MASTERS who FINANCE & PROMOTE their LOBBYISTS’ Agenda – FAR Before, Above & Beyond The Agenda Of The People.

WHY DOESN’T THE REPUBLICAN SENATE WANT TO MOVE TO A 51-VOTE MAJORITY?

Doesn’t it Strike you as being somewhat WEIRD . . . that on some Issues, the Senate NEEDS just a 51-Vote Majority, but on “SERIOUS” Issues, which really make enormous differences, the Senate needs a 60-Vote Majority?

LET ME TELL YOU WHY IT IS . . . AS IT IS:

There is NO CONSTITUTIONAL RULE, which Ascribes to the Principle of a 60-Vote Majority. In Fact . . . the 60-Vote Majority is a Relatively NEW Policy Created by the Senate . . . Supposedly to Circumvent Filibusters, with which the Senate Leader could Invoke Cloture to End Debate.

But then again . . . there are so many different ITERATIONS on why the need for the 60-Vote Majority, that combined, they would make the head of a Sane Person Spin.

I AM NOT STUPID . . . I might NOT be the Sharpest Pencil in the Box, but I’m certainly NOT the Dullest either, so, when I tell you that after READING, READING, & READING so much about the 60-Vote Rule – I’m No Better Informed or Better Understanding After Exhausting My Eyes, Than I was Before . . . I’m Just Dizzy from the BS.

THE FRAMERS CREATED A CONSTITUTION THAT WAS SIMPLICITY IN ITSELF:

FROM WHAT I CAN REALLY UNDERSTAND . . . Both the 60-Vote Rule & Filibusters, ARE IN THEMSELVES . . . either the Creation of the 17th Amendment or the Illegitimate Children Thereof, which came into Law in 1913, which Guaranteed “ONE SENATOR BY POPULAR ELECTION . . . ONE VOTE” . . . But More Importantly, the 17th Amendment is a Major TRANSITION from a Senate ORIGINALLY Chosen through Individual State Legislators, which was to pay Homage to the 10th Amendment, to what has now Become a Political Popularity Contest, where Senatorial Candidates with the MOST MONEY, CHARISMA, & MEDIA BACKING WINS.

THERE ARE SERIOUS CONSTITUTIONALISTS . . . Such as Former Governor Mike Huckabee & Talk Radio Host & Author Mark Levin, both of whom are Petitioning Hard to Revoke the 17th Amendment, in order to RESTORE the Power to Elect the US Senate, back to where the Founding Fathers & Framers of the US Constitution wanted it to be.

AS IT SITS NOW . . . The Method of Electing a US Senator, is as OPENLY CORRUPT to Money and those Special Interests, as one can Imagine, and is as Far Removed from the Constitutional Intent of the Framers as is Conceivable.

WHAT CAN BE DONE WITHOUT CHANGING THE CONSTITUTION TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE?

I’M NOT A CONSTITUTIONALIST . . . Far From It – But I don’t Necessarily Agree with Huckabee and Levin . . . I do Agree however with both of them, that the System is Broken and MUST be Fixed, which I don’t Believe should take the Revocation of a Well Intentioned Amendment that was passed 104-Years Ago . . . with which to FIX IT.

TO ME THE FIX IS EASY . . . And is in the Purview & Hands of Leader Mitch McConnell – as is REPEATEDLY ENUNCIATED BY PRESIDENT TRUMP. Dump the 60-Vote Rule, which has NO CONSTITUTIONAL STANDING . . . and get on with the Job of Legislating.

WHY DOESN’T MCCONNELL JUST DO IT?

MCCONNELL . . . & ALL OF THEM LOVE THE 60-VOTE RULE, because it gives EVERY Senator the 100% Ability . . . to Point Fingers & Lay Blame Everywhere, other than at THEMSELVES.

IF THE SENATE LEADER . . . could Invoke CLOTURE to limit Debate, which he can, and if the Senate Leader could call a Vote Requiring a Simple Majority to Pass any Bill, which he can . . . AND THE SENATE LEADER DOES NEITHER – How long do think that Leader will be Leading?

WELCOME TO THE SWAMP . . . & WHY THE PRESIDENT IS UP AGAINST A BRICK WALL:

THE FIX IS IN . . . McConnell doesn’t want to change the Rules, and neither does Chuck Schumer, since they’ve got a great GIG going on between them. And the Rank & File Senators don’t want the Rules Changed Either . . . because that would mean they would have to actually FULFILL their Campaign Promises.

THE NEW AFGHAN POLICY – FINALLY!

How Much Blood & Treasure Is Enough?

From the Persians, Greeks, Arabs, Mongols, Sikhs, British & Russians . . . Amongst Others Over Thousands Of Years – NO WORLD POWER HAS EVER BEEN ABLE TO EITHER DEFEAT OR TAME AFGHANISTAN . . . So what made the Americans under George W Bush and Barack Hussein Obama think they could NATION-BUILD, where no one else could?

Whatever Afghanistan Decides Is Good For Afghanistan . . . Is Up To Afghanistan.

I LIKE PRESIDENT TRUMP’S STRATEGY . . . America is not in Afghanistan to Push Democracy, Modernization, Conquer, Tame, or Change the Nation. America is there SPECIFICALLY to keep the Enemies of America and Modernity at Bay, by whatever Military Means Necessary.
