TRUMP VERSUS MCCAIN . . . ACTUALLY TRUMP VERSUS THE RINOS:
Trump is inarticulate to say the least. But, what he says is clear, and is generally on the money. And what he said about McCain is no different.
EVERY PERSON WHO HAS VOLUNTEERED FOR SERVICE IS A HERO:
What happened to McCain all those years ago as a POW in Vietnam . . . has been ridden by McCain like a tired pony, all the way to the Senate, and a bid for the Presidency . . . while being an empty voice throughout.
I ALWAYS BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR NEXT SUCCESS:
Name a real success by McCain . . . I DARE YOU!
Now name any number of incredible successes by TRUMP, which you can simply do by naming any one of TRUMP’S Magnificent Buildings, Golf Courses, Television Show . . . ETCETERA.
CAN YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE?
The only REAL spectacular thing I can personally relate to with John McCain, is how he thoroughly BLEW the 2008 Presidential Election, like no one before him has ever screwed up a campaign of this stature, and afterwards, he topped it off by allowing Sara Palin to be ridiculed and thrown under his own bus – to the LEECHES who anomalously and very publicly tore her and her family apart, who were McCain’s campaign “A” team.
AND DON’T FORGET FOR A SECOND . . . how McCain continuously insults and takes cheap shots at anyone he disagrees with, such as Ted Cruz, who he called a WACO-BIRD, and a huge number of Arizona Trump supporters, McCain called CRAZIES . . . DOES THIS NOT MATTER?
When McCain campaigned for the nomination to lead the Republican Party in 2008, there were no shortage of NAME BRAND REPUBLICANS, who publicly called McCain a LOOSE CANNON, and swore that he would get America into a war if he became President, because he was kind of nuts . . . HOW COME they weren’t dragged into the PUBLIC SQUARE for a media FLOGGING . . . the way they’re dragging Trump?
I’M REALLY DISAPPOINTED IN ALL OF THEM . . . INCLUDING WALKER:
I am incredulous at how many Republicans have jumped into this mess, many of whom, DEMANDING that Trump DROP OUT OF THE RACE, because of his remarks about McCain . . . HOW UN-AMERICAN IS THAT? How UN-REPUBLICAN is that?
HOW LEFTIST IS THIS DEMAGOGUERY BEING USED BY REPUBLICANS?
I have supported Scott Walker from DAY ONE, who I listened to when he was interviewed on-air for his comments on the Trump/McCain dust-up.
He started his response by saying . . . I have a firm policy not to comment personally on what other Republican Candidates have to say . . . WITH THAT HE SHOULD HAVE SIMPLY SHUT-UP.
BUT NO . . . Scott Walker too, couldn’t help himself, and piled-on with the rest of them. To me, that was very disappointing. I will still support Walker, but not without remembering how ORDINARY he all of a sudden made himself, simply by running with the herd.
WHAT MAKES TRUMP SO APPEALING . . . IS THAT HE DOESN’T RUN WITH THE HERD:
Trump is NOT my favorite, or even at the top of my list . . . BUT HE HAS BECOME INDISPENSIBLE to changing the Republican Party or tearing it apart. And if the Party does not change, and I really mean CHANGE for the Conservative BETTER, it deserves to be torn apart, because they have become no better than the LEFT.
AS I SEE IT . . . The current Republicans, from after Ronald Reagan, are no less culpable than the Democrats for the MESS THAT HAS BECOME AMERICA.
I am sick and tired of hearing the likes of Carl Rove, and all the other Republican INSIDER Talking Heads telling Americans, who should be the Party Leader.
IF TRUMP – OR SOMEONE LIKE HIM WERE TO RUN AS AN INDEPENDENT . . .
Trump is revealing the Republican Party at its WORST . . . just as a bunch of groveling politicians, willing to do and say whatever they can to win power. And if a RINO was to become the Party Nominee, and Trump decided to run as an INDEPENDENT, he would get my support.
ENOUGH WITH THE RINOS . . . IS MORE THAN ENOUGH!
I still like Carly Fiorina, Ben Carson and Ted Cruz, and I really hope none of them piled-on too.
THIS IS FAR MORE THAN JUST PICKING A LEADER FROM THE PACK . . . the American people will be choosing whether America and the rest of the world continues to survive as we know it . . .
Which means that this is far too important a decision to leave in the hands of the men and women (the politicians) who have screwed it all up for generations. AND THAT’S WHY TRUMP IS SO POPULAR.
Best Regards . . . Howard Galganov

Howard, keep well. I emailed you Dr. David Brownstein’s report about taking the flu vaccine. I suggest you read it.
I like Walker; I like Fiorina; and, I believe that what you say about Trump is the absolute truth. Americans are hungry for these words, and he seems the only one resonating with the voters. Here’s my concern: that Trump takes it 3rd party. We have to remember that it wasn’t that long ago that he was aligned with the Clintons and the Democratic Party.
HAIL TO YOU HOWARD, YOU HIT THE NAIL RIGHT ON THE RINO’S HEAD. THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS NOT WHAT THEY THINK THEY ARE.DONALD TRUMP SAYS WHAT ALL AMERICANS ARE THINKING, BUT DO NOT HAVE THE INTESTINAL FORTITUDE TO SAY IT PUBLICLY FOR FEAR THAT THEY MAY BE CONSIDERED EITHER RACIST OR BIGOTS. IT IS WHAT IT IS, TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.I HOPE DONALD KEEPS UP HIS FIGHT AGAINST ALL WHO CONDEMN HIM,THEY ARE JUST A PACK OF WANNABEES. THEY WILL PROMISE YOU EVERYTHING BUT THERE WILL BE NO ACTION
You are right on, Howard! While I agree that Trump is somewhat of a loose cannon, I would have no problem voting for a Trump/Cruz or Cruz/Trump ticket. McCain has ridden the “POW train” about as far as it will go. He has done absolutely NOTHING for anyone in this country, let alone the veterans. He should be removed from office. I was surprised and disappointed in Rick Perry for piling on Trump and that, in my book, removes him from consideration even though I live in Texas.
Trump should not, under any circumstances, run as 3rd Party. Despite Perot’s similar popularity in ’92, it was his 3rd Party run that gave us the ClintonCriminals. A run such as that by Trump will insure at least 4 more years of treasonous behavior by the Democrats and most likely 8 because we all know they won’t give up a 2nd term, by hook or by crook. I too like Walker and Fiorina (that would be a good ticket). With the exception of Trump’s unpolished savoir faire, he can make a difference.
Howard, I’ve come to the conclusion that what is separating the candidates is whether or not they FEAR standing for their principles–that is if they’ve indeed determined what principles they believe. If they firmly believe in something, they should stand for that, even in the face of losing. That’s what Trump is doing. Cruz supported Trump’s stand on immigration. Even tho the word “illegal” wasn’t used, it was meant. It’s revealing when folks refuse to connect “illegal” w/breaking the law.
I was once a Democrat too. When I saw what they were becoming I left the party, so I don’t hold that against Trump. A whole lot of Republicans used to be Democrats, so that’s not a disqualifier. Trump needs to understand and choose his words a little more carefully, not that he was wrong–he wasn’t. McCain is a waste of O2 these days and while I respect his service, his behavior as a RINO sell-out more than cancels that out. Cruz and Trump get my support in either order on the ballot.
No one I specify No one can say the truth like Howard just did in this post. My hand is shaking I cannot wait to press the SEND BUTTON, AS I WANT THIS OUT THERE AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. Wow! Everything I feel, Howard put in words, I have also but not as professionally as Howard Galganov. Thank you so much a Canadian you are but I consider you a full pledged Patriotic American of the highest degree!
100% correct Howard. The last Dem I believed in was JFK.The last Rep was Pres. Reagan.Obama on his speech re: Iran referred to Politicians as those who say what the people want to hear.WELL?These rhinos are behaving like a bunch of hyenas.Compared to me, all soldiers are heroes.A wanna be Marine, I failed my physical. That said look up the meaning! As Mr. Carson suggested. There’s enough ignorance already.Like the cliche”this is not my fathers Oldsmobile”.Nor is it the America it once was.
Howard, as we stand in the shadows of silence, you are our voice. I am extremely disappointed in Perry, Walker and others for their stand against Trump. You are spot on in your analysis of Trump. Thanks.

I think the reason Donald Trump is not liked is that he is is own person. Like it or not he tells it like he “sees” it and that makes some people uncomfortable because he is usually right in his asscessment of the cause. I would vote for him because he has accomplished any number of things, and if he can pull those things off certainly he can do a better job than any I have seen so far. Go for it Donald but rest assured they will be out to “kill” you!
Excellent observations, Howard, as always! All the Trump-bashing Republicans had better watch out. Their worst nightmare may come true. Shut the Donald out of the process and watch what he can do- how about ask Ben Carson, who has a large, passionate following, to join him on a 3rd party ticket? NO Republican could win the WH then!
I wish that every GOP candidate could read this editorial!! I admire your amazing insight & sincere emotions in writing. I admit that I’ve never thought much of McCain. He IS a RINO though I “must” respect him for his service as he “rides that tired ole pony” to stay in the public eye.
I have never heard Trump give an articulate speech, even when self-promoting, he stumbles over his words, is repetitive and vague on what he attempts to express. He has awakened the GOP, but I hope he doesn’
Right on. I also remember senator Al Franken making a similar remark about McCain. Don’t remember when, but I believe it was before he became a senator.
Like it’s said Truth hurts. John McCain is a very vindictive man. I know why they said what they did. I remember how he treated Marie S when she tried to enterview him after losing to G W Bush. Very crude and rude. When running for office I was in Tombstone. There was a parade down came a van with McCain in his jump suit looked like he was 21 but in reality much older. Fool the people. I’ve always wondered why his POW buddies in prison are no where to be found.

No, Howard -Trump was over the top. I served during the Vietnam war and consider McCain a hero, not just because he was a captive but because he received “special treatment” by the NV because he is the son of a Navy admiral. What he did later in politics (I consider him a RINO who blew the 2008 election by not choosing Condi Rice as his running mate) is not part of his war hero narrative. Now it seems Trump was a Vietnam War draft “evader”. The only list of mine Trump is on is the s*** list.
Well, McCain did marry a wealthy woman!
As a conservative Canadian, I never could stand the man. What the left did to Sarah Palin was a disgrace and McCain (who chose her) did nothing about it. Wow, and I didn’t realize that all lefties were geniuses!
Donald Trump is the ONLY hope that America has … he’s the only one with the fortitude to actually turn the USA around — if indeed that is still possible!
God Bless you Donald.
And thank you Howard for also “telling it like it is”!
It’s now a “free speech” issue. Shut up. Leave. Politicians of all people abandoning the 1st Amendment. McCain came back a hero because he was a POW. The balance of Viet Nam vets came back and were spat upon, derided and shunned by the government that sent them there. That was Trump’s badly stated point. Every time the Republican Party needed money they went to Trump. He gave in spades. Welcome to the Brave New Politicians who have turned on him. No “New Speak” from the Donald.
How can a person who performed a heroic deed, not be a hero? McCain refused to be set free from the Hanoi Hilton because he knew his release would be used for propaganda purposes. He subsequently endured more years of torture. That was a heroic deed. He deserves a sincere apology, which would serve to humanize The Donald. McCain’s political record is open season. However, unfortunately, by Trump’s blunder, he created a distraction from McCain’s lack of achievements in the Senate.
I am not going to speak to Trump’s comments. You are correct about MCain. He, more than any one else, is the reason that Hussein Obama occasionally sits in the White House. McCain and “Slippery” Kerry have two thinks in common, they are both dopes and live on their wives money.
It won’t matter which Republican get’s to run for President, Hillary will have voter fraud to make sure she wins. The Democrats have do it twice, 08 and 2012 and no one did anything about it, doing something about voter fraud would be like the fox guarding the chicken house as it’s who counts the votes make the winner.
Howard… I like your three picks. Ted Cruz is the ONLY one of the Washington crowd, and I mean, crowd… that will speak his mind. He answers questions from the heart, not his pocket book. We have got to change things in Washington or we’re doomed. You need to get you a place in the hill country… and you know what I mean.
You are absolutely correct Howard!!
Ted Cruz is not a natural born citizen. Of course neither is Obama, so I guess we’ve effectively dropped that requirement. Do a bit of checking and you will see that to be a natural born citizen both parents must be citizens at the time of birth. Rubio doesn’t fit the requirement either, but eh could also call for the Obama exception.
Bravo Howard,
At this moment Mr. Trump seems to be ruffling the feathers of those comfortably roosting on lofty perches. As for un-polished speech; how many Americans consider a truth more important than polished rhetoric? We have had a smooth talker for a while now. A man of action would be nice. Thank you, for the simply said.

Once again “President for Life Obama” is where this is all headed ! if he could run again , he would , and he would be elected . The only question in his mind is how to pull it off … Blacks want him , Hispanics would give him another chance , Arabs of all stripe love him , Putin and whoever is running China would love it . Castro loves hum . Dumb-ass , save the world Whites, would support him , Mom’s everywhere want more of him . Hey I think the average voter deserves him.
I want to see Carson, Fiorina, and/or Walker match up with Trump. But our prob is the sleaze bag Hillary. In 2016, the Repu’s need to bring out the numerous scandals Hillary has covered herself with. Go back to Arkansas when Bill was Governor. Many people died trying investigate Bill & Hillary. The murder investigation re Hillary’s aide Foster needs reopening He was found dead in a Wash park. Suicide? Carpet fibers were found on his knees. This evidence was never checked out.
Mr. Trump is lacking not only diplomacy, but also discretion – two qualities necessary for a good leader. He could have criticized John McCain without denigrating his heroic service to our country. The Dems would love to see him run as a 3rd party candidate; a split ticket would surely guarantee a Presidential win for their party. Dr. Ben Carson is looking better and better!! His calm, self-assured demeanor resonates common sense and knowledge. He has my vote. Can’t wait for the debate.
Americans have always been strong
Flag furling in their powerfully clenched grip
Our leaders with soft fists
The same questions still persists
We need the heart of one man
Who dares to challenge the list
That poisoned our mother that bleeds from her wrists
And made America weak
Wake up we’re too damaged to stay asleep
Our politicians ignored the signs
Lining their pockets as our waters and skies died
“We will win…… Let’s make America Strong Again
America’s an American ”

Trump’s comment about McCain not being a war hero was wrong, plain and simple. I don’t like McCain, but as former Marine officer I must express my respect and gratitude for his service to our country during his Naval service. Subsequent to that, he has done nothing admirable in his political life.
Carly Fiorina continues to impress me. I hope she makes it into the top 10 and thus into the debates.
The Republican Party and the Democratic Party are scared to death that Trump will become our President. He represents the people”. What a breath of fresh air that is. This was to be ‘One Nation under God, for the people, by the people” We vote in our representatives. That has totally flipped upside down. Nosw we have a Muslim King
BRING IT ON!!
….Trump is revealing the Republican Party at its WORST . . . just as a bunch of groveling politicians, willing to do and say whatever they can to win power. And if a RINO was to become the Party Nominee, and Trump decided to run as an INDEPENDENT, he would get my support. ENOUGH WITH THE RINOS . . . IS MORE THAN ENOUGH! I still like Carly Fiorina, Ben Carson and Ted Cruz….
In my opinion,Donald Trump is saying most of the things Republicans are too afraid to say! So could he be an acting mouthpiece to get issues out there?? He is not my first pick but he sure is getting the Libs,Dems all up in arms! That’s fun to watch!
Howard, I suggest you read the RedState post “14 reasons to NOT vote for Scott Walker”.
Trump was over the top. I am not a fan of McCain the politician but as an former Naval Aviator during the Viet Nam war, anyone who would denigrate the service of any serviceman held captive by the NV for 5 years is worthy of my contempt. Trump is not the leader we need. He puts his mouth in motion before his brain is in gear. He may be a good business man but we don’t need ANOTHER egomaniac for a President. I like Walker and Firoina, as of now.
Boy, Howard, you really fired up a lot of comments on this topic! Well said & right on! I think Trump is so successful because he has no fear in speaking his truth! Thanks for the great insight about what McCain did to Sara Palin. Heard him give a talk in Arizona. He was rude, mean to those who questioned him & put a ‘spin’ on everything that came out of his mouth. If Trump splits the Republican vote & goes as an Independent, both parties will loose out to Hillary. Hope you can see that!
I am totally sick of lifetime politicians and proud that we have a successful businessman running for President. No, I am not enthused with Trump, but at least he is a start. Anyone with any intelligence at all about America and our way of life could be a politician. What we need is time limits on our Congress equal to the same offered for our President. This way the deadbeats wouldn’t keep getting voted into office by the un-observing American citizens,
I can’t believe that this article about just what kind of HERO mccain really is………You sure don’t see it in the media.
