This editorial is all over the board, because the world is all over the board. And because what has been happening within the last 30 days . . . or more to the point, just within the last few days, it shows just how desperate we all are for some real leadership.
WHITNEY HOUSTON – A BIG SHOW FOR A FAILED LIFE:
Why should I care that Whitney Houston is dead, since she died by her own screwed-up hand. She was a drunk and a drug addict. And she earned more than $100 million dollars in her lifetime, but died broke nonetheless.
Was she by any measure a humanitarian in the real sense? Or in any sense? You know the answer – So why the great homage?
Whitney Houston was no role model.
So, for Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey to order the lowering of the Flags throughout the State in honor of a drunk, drug addict, and degenerate, shows just how disconnected the politicians are from what has real merit, and from what does not.
THE DEBT KEEPS GROWING – THE POLITICIANS KEEP-ON GROWING IT:
The USA has already CROSSED the Rubicon, where 100% of every federal tax dollar collected EQUALS the annual deficit.
In other words: America is borrowing as much as it takes in. And in no time at all, America will have to start borrowing MORE than it takes in, in all federal taxes . . . Then what?
GASOLINE PRICES ARE GOING TO CRUSH NORTH AMERICA:
Obama and all his LEFTIST acolytes need to be tarred and feathered for rejecting the Canadian XL Pipeline, just as much as they should be reviled for withholding drilling permits wherever there is oil and or gas anywhere within US jurisdiction.
THE PEOPLE CANNOT AFFORD $4 OR $5 A GALLON GAS:
The cost of fuel is leading to real misery throughout North America. It is SKYROCKETING the costs of everything INCLUDING food. This is no joke.
What the LEFT are doing vis a vis energy goes beyond criminal. It is in my mind a CRIME against North American humanity.
THERE ARE NO INNOCENTS – EVERYONE IS GUILTY:
The Bastards from the Oil Industry to the Politicians who are milking this man-made energy catastrophe all share in equal guilt. Canada and the USA are NOT members of OPEC, so why do the North American oil companies charge OPEC prices?
I hear that the cost of energy in North America is high because of refining restrictions . . . REALLY? When’s the last time you pulled up to the pumps to be told that there isn’t any gas because the refineries have run short?
The cost at the UPPER – UPPER level to take oil out of the ground is no more than a few dollars per barrel all-in. So what’s the deal?
When taking into account the ENORMOUS volume of oil that is transported and refined and re-transported again to retail delivery, the cost per gallon is small; it is REALLY small.
And what about the HUGE profits earned on after-refinery products that are used in the making of plastics, fertilizers, and a plethora of other things that are sold so many times above cost, that the primary product (gas) could be sold well under $1 per gallon and still make the oil companies rich?
The bottom line is that there is a government/industry conspiracy to RIP-US-OFF, which is unconscionable, ILLEGAL and should not stand.
OBAMA IS KEEPING ISRAEL FROM SAVING-ITSELF FROM A SECOND HOLOCAUST.
As the Drumbeat of War is pounding in the Middle East from North Africa to the tip of Asia, where the Iranians are working at hyper-speed to ERADICATE SIX MILLION JEWS in Israel, Obama and his LEFT; including Hillary Clinton and Leon Panetta are doing all they can to keep Israel from doing what Israel has to do to survive.
Yet . . . Leftist American Jews by and large still support and throw money at Obama. Are they not sick people?
THE REAL LEVEL OF UNEMPLOYMENT:
For more than a year, I’ve been writing that the unemployment figures released by the government are not true. And in words that everyone reading this Blog can best understand . . . Obama is a LIAR, just as his unemployment numbers are LIES.
According to a JUST RELEASED poll from the MOST respected polling firm on the planet – Gallup, the REAL unemployment numbers in America after factoring in everything, since everything actually does count, the number of unemployed and underemployed is MORE than 27.9%.
The Gallup breakdown is 9% unemployed with 18.9% underemployed. But, what is NOT factored-in are the people who have simply given-up looking. And that number probably pushes unemployment and underemployment well beyond 30%.
BUT . . . HAVE NO FEAR – ALL IS WELL . . . Whitney had a grand funeral with flags flying at half-mast . . . HALLELUIAH!
