After The Cash Runs Out . . .

OUR SERVITUDE WAS BOUGHT AND PAID FOR WITH OUR OWN MONEY.

There are many very good people who enter the rock and roll world of politics, who do so to make a positive difference. I know several of them. But, there are far too many who enter the realm of government for the wrong reasons, or become corrupted after tasting the sweet wine of influence.

Having a group of politicians debate budgets, and how to pay down deficits while they grow entitlements, is akin to Mafia God-Fathers deciding how much money to take from their marks, as if the marks have a choice.

AND WE’RE THE MARKS.

The great shame on us . . . is how we’ve allowed and encouraged our governments at all levels to grow on the backs of CONTRIBUTING people in the PRIVATE Sector.

OUR SERVITUDE WAS BOUGHT AND PAID FOR WITH OUR OWN MONEY.

And if that wasn’t bad enough – HERE’S THE REAL TRAGEDY:

In general, most people . . . not all people, but more than enough of us are so utterly stupid, that we don’t even realize that our actions have enslaved all of us to government entitlements, which in turn have surrendered not just our individuality, but our very FREEDOMS as a whole.

DID YOU EVER VOTE FOR SOMEONE TO TELL YOU HOW TO LIVE?

When the masses DEPEND upon the government for their everyday needs, the government is the MASTER of the people in all venues.

When all government employees, elected or appointed depend upon the people for their job survival, it is WE the people who are the MASTERS of government.

But, make no mistake about it, the working and contributing class, who are the MAKERS opposed to the TAKERS, have lost our critical political mass, and have surrendered our rights upon the altar of Government, with hardly as much as a whimper.

And even the politicians who claim to be onside with the MAKERS – are not really, at least not most of them, and mostly not the ones who have entered the gilded cage of influence.

As long as there are TAKERS, and even working folk who benefit more from government, than what they contribute to government, the politicians and Parties will always promise SOMETHING-FOR-NOTHING to successfully BUY their votes.

BUT – When the money runs out, as what is happening today on a global scale, and there’s nothing left with which the politicians can use to pay for the promises made to the Something-For-Nothing Bunch, as we’re seeing with the OCCUPY Movement, that’s when it will EXPLODE, bringing the Government to its knees.

Big Business, Big Labor, and Big Government – All of which are in collusion, have pushed the envelope to what is pretty close to the limit. And when it reaches the limit – WATCH-OUT!

The Revolution will not start with the MAKERS. It will not be the innovators, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, personally proud independent workers, and builders who will take to the streets with a seething rage.

It will be the TAKERS who will feel betrayed by the government when their entitlements and gravy train will no longer be there for the taking, who will attempt to tear it all asunder.

It will be the people who don’t want to work. The students who have no idea what real work and obligation are all about. The Teachers and Public Sector Workers who’ve lived high on the hog on other people’s money who will be the most aggrieved at the end of their FREE or PRIVILEGED ride.

It will be the MAKER-BOOMERS like me who will retire with NOTHING, because of how WE allowed and even encouraged our governments to STEAL our future with our own money, because we were TOO stupid to see what awaited all of us at the end of a runaway government, all of which became our MASTERS while we slept.

No matter how well Anne and I attempted to live our lives, planning for the day when we could slow down greatly, it will never happen, because too many people allowed the government to steal our elderly years of stability and comfort.

For us to maintain the lifestyle we built for ourselves, we will work until age will dictate in no uncertain and kind terms, that we will be able to work no longer.

Then . . . I don’t know what. But hopefully, that will be a couple of decades off.

THE DAY OF RECKONING IS AROUND THE CORNER:

The day of entitlements is coming to an end. And the days of quiet in the streets of the cities where we live will soon become days of anger, violence and insurrection. AND THERE WILL BE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT US.

I don’t bother writing about Europe, because Europe is a lost cause with the possible exception of Britain, which had not crossed into the Twilight Zone by transferring its Sovereignty to the Euro.

I write this about Canada and the United States, where our governments at all levels are in such debt, that no matter how the governments would want to keep the GRAVY TRAIN alive, they CANNOT.

UNDERSTAND THIS:

The governments have not run out of money. IT IS WE THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE RUN OUT OF MONEY.

It is we who are the real MAKERS, not big business, not the banks or investment firms, but us . . . the mom/pop companies who are, and have always been the FOUNDATION of our societies, who can no longer be bled, because there’s very little blood left within us for the Something-For-Nothing Bunch to continue to enjoy lifestyles they neither earned NOR deserve.

Those amongst us who will inflict major damage onto our countries, are the same Something-For-Nothing Bunch the governments have bought off with the money taken out of the pockets of the MAKERS, who will not rise-up, since that is not what the MAKERS do.

BECAUSE THAT’S THE WAY IT WAS, IS, AND WILL ALWAYS BE:

The MAKERS will simply go about our lives doing the best of whatever we can to keep it together, since for us, there are no handouts, have never been any handouts, and will never be any handouts.

But like everyone else, whether we like it or not, we will not simply be bystanders as it all comes apart.

Best Regards . . . Howard Galganov

  1. Howard, the greatest joy, in the world … Is a Southern accent!!! Mind you, I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, but, I met my Southern Gentlman, almost 55 years ago and we have been married for almost 52 years. The hardest part of hearing a Southern accent though, is trying to spell, the way they pronounce things, like the Appalachian Trail, that runs from Springer Mountain in Georgia and Mount Katahdin in Maine. You should see, how they pronounce Huston, GA and Cairo, Ga. LOL 🙂
