During WWII, there was no question about who was the Supreme Commander of the Allies. All nations accepted General Eisenhower as the man to whom they saluted when he entered the room.
By extension, the man Eisenhower reported to in the Oval Office was the undisputed Allied Commander-In-Chief.
Here is a brief run-down of post WWII Presidents who’ve made a difference: YOU COMPARE.
THE MYTH OF THE KENNEDY WHITE HOUSE:
DEMOCRAT – When Kennedy showed the Communists that he was the kind of guy who was willing to play nice and negotiate, the Soviets moved into Cuba, and the world teetered on nuclear war.
For Kennedy’s efforts to remove the Russian Missiles from Cuba, he SURRENDERED American missiles from Turkey. And in spite of the Camelot/Kennedy Fairy Tales, he was no great President.
THE SUCCESS OF NIXON:
REPUBLICAN – Nixon, one of America’s MOST maligned Presidents of all time, also happened to be one of America’s BEST Presidents.
While it is true that he played by his own rules and suspected enemies within and without, he also opened doors to China, and signed the single largest Arms Treaty (SALT) with the Soviets.
CARTER – AMERICA’S SECOND WORST MODERN-DAY PRESIDENT:
DEMOCRAT – During the era of Jimmy Carter, coming to office on the heels of the 10-year war in Vietnam, Carter made it be known to all that America was out of the world policing business. The result, the loss of America’s BEST non Israeli Middle Eastern Ally (the Shah of Iran), who also happened to be an important friend to Israel, and the beginning of Islam’s 20th century unchallenged march towards world dominion.
RONALD REAGAN:
REPUBLICAN – When Ronald Reagan spoke, the entire world listened. Friend and Foe alike. The world knew who was in charge, and knew how far they could push, and how far they could not.
While Carter dithered and begged the Iranians to release the 51 American Embassy Nationals who were held hostage for 444 days, the Iranians released them at almost the very moment Reagan took office.
They understood the consequences and costs of doing to Reagan what they felt comfortable with doing to Carter.
Under Reagan, the Iron Curtain fell, the Soviet Union collapsed, the Berlin Wall came crashing down, and the American economy roared to life.
SLICK WILLY:
DEMOCRAT – Bill Clinton brought the Hippy Generation into the White House eating Pizza in the Oval Office, while conducting the business of the nation and the world in jeans and T-Shirts.
And then there was Monica Lewinsky.
Under Clinton who was too busy micro managing the country, while letting others in his White House have their way with US policy, finances, housing and implementation, the Twin Towers were attacked in 1993 without so much as a rap on the knuckles to those who did it.
The HORRIFIC Oslo Accord that Israel is still paying dearly for was enacted for Clinton’s political and egotistical benefit. The Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia were attacked. Two East Africa US Embassies were attacked. And the USS Cole was destroyed.
And then there was the planning for 9/11 under Clinton’s watch.
GEORGE W BUSH:
REPUBLICAN – George W Bush took the brunt of the attack on 9/11. But, unlike Clinton who relied on the UN, Interpol and the World Court for permission and help in fighting back, Bush did it unilaterally.
On September 20, 2001 before a Joint Session of Congress, George W Bush said:
“We will pursue nations that provide aid or safe haven to terrorism. Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make.”
“Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.”
“From this day forward, any nation that continues to harbor or support terrorism will be regarded by the United States as a hostile regime.”
George W Bush will not go down in history as a great President. His domestic and spending policies were poor. He allowed the Democrat controlled Congress to run roughshod over himself and the people.
But, when it came down to protecting America and the American people, Bush was a REAL President.
BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA & HIS CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY:
I am not kidding or trivializing what is written in the preceding headline.
WORSE THAN A DEMOCRAT – Obama stands for nothing other than loathing his own country, hating Israel, promoting Islam, and spending America into OBLIVION.
But, if Obama’s crimes can be measured, which they can, his greatest crime is in ABDICATING America’s role as the LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD.
Because Obama has surrendered America’s EXCEPTIONALISM and Moral International Sustenance to what is nothing more than a committee of International lightweights and losers, there is no longer a moral compass and a single strength the rest of the world can look to and rely upon.
What we are witnessing in the war on Libya is a horror-show in the making.
America went to war because the Arab League said it was OK. Because the United Nations said it was OK. Because France and England said it was OK.
BUT HE NEVER ASKED THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THROUGH CONGRESS IF IT WAS OK.
So, one does not need to ask if America’s foreign policy under Obama is dictated by foreign nations, because the proof is in Libya.
I wrote in my last Editorial about how precarious Israel’s position is because of Obama. Once again . . . the proof is in Libya.
If Obama allowed the Arab League, the UN and several European countries to decide for America what military action should or should not be taken, what will Obama do when these same very bad actors decide to go after Israel, WHICH THEY WILL?
OBAMA HAS SET THE PRECEDENT:
Everyone who is REALLY paying attention to what is happening in the Middle East between Israel and Israel’s mortal enemies, the Palestinian Arabs, Arab Neighbors, the Moslem World, and Jew-Hating Europe, knows that it is MORE likely than not that the Palestinians will ask the UN Security Council to declare Palestine to be a Sovereign State with its borders being set to PRE-1967 boundaries.
And based on how Obama is allowing the rest of the world to dictate US global policies, what can we expect from him on this absolutely critical question?
As a Jew, and as a strong advocate for Israel, I am far more concerned than just somewhat. Just imagine how the Israelis feel?
The LEFT in the USA wanted Obama as they chanted his name along with “YES WE CAN” and “CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN” will have the blood of the world on their hands, since without their vote, there would be no President Barack HUSSEIN Obama to CRY HAVOC, AND LET LOOSE THE DOGS OF HELL UPON THE WORLD.

Dear Howard, I have just concluded reading your article for the second time. This is your best newsletter ever. You have described Islam most succinctly, describing it as a religion of “HATRED”. No other religion advocates vicious extermination of “non-believers” as Islam does.
