US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is busy in the Middle East pushing for some kind of “deal” between Israel and Israel’s Arab neighbors.
My thinking is that she wants a deal, any kind of a deal, more so than an equitable and just deal for Israel.
She and the White House are doing back-flips to discover a way to do political business with the so-called Palestinians, in spite of the fact that most Palestinians love the avowed TERRORIST group Hamas, which they voted for in huge numbers.
But then again, it’s not as if “Palestinian” President Abbas is any more worthy, since he is an unapologetic Holocaust denier who heads Fatah, yet another TERRORIST group with no shortage of Jewish blood on its hands.
In 1993, Israel embarked on a suicide course called Oslo. Then came the Road Map For Peace. And now the Middle East Arabs have resurrected what they consider to be the Saudi Plan.
Oslo was a sham that did nothing but resurrect Yasser Arafat, the murderer of Jews and Americans.
The Road Map was (is) a non-starter, because this proposition actually would have created a fair solution to the great divide between the Israelis and the so-called Palestinians.
The Road Map was a plan the so-called Palestinians ran away from.
But the Saudi plan is the best of them all for its absolute simplicity:
1 – Israel must fall back to its pre 1967 boundaries that existed before Israel won the West Bank, Gaza Strip and the Golan Heights from their belligerent Arab neighbors, who waged a war of annihilation against the Jewish State.
Not to mention the Yom Kippur War that came perilously close to the total destruction of Israel in 1973.
2 – Israel must agree to give the millions of so-called Palestinian refugees the right to move back to the properties they, or their families claim to have once owned in Israel proper.
And for accepting the Saudi Plan, Israel’s Arab neighbors say they will recognize the Jewish State.
BUT: If Israel does not accept this “non negotiable” Saudi Plan, then, according to Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah, Israel will be responsible for unleashing the “Gods of War”.
The Arabs have a wonderful way with words – don’t they?
Here’s my Plan for the Palestinian question:
1 – Screw all the Arab plans which are all geared to the total destruction of Israel.
2 – Forget about creating a Palestinian State.
a) They don’t deserve it.
b) The so-called Palestinians have no historical right to the land they claim, since there never was a country called Palestine.
c) International law recognizes that the victor of a war waged by an aggressor nation gets to keep the territory it has captured. At least that’s the way it works for every other country on the planet.
d) The territories the so-called Palestinians claim, were captured in 1967 from Egypt and Jordan, which gives credibility to the aforementioned.
The same can be said of the Golan Heights which Israel captured from Syria (also in 1967). And then recaptured from the Syrians in 1973 during the Yom Kippur War.
e) Any kind of agreement Israel makes with its Arab neighbors will not be worth the paper it will be written on for a variety of reasons.
1) The Arabs are liars. 2) More than loving their children, the Arabs love to kill Jewish children in Israel. 3) There is no room for any negotiations with Islamists. 4) All the Arab governments which will make this pledge of peace with Israel are unstable dictatorships and ripe for overthrow. 5) They’re all delusional.
The Saudis have pointed to the Egyptian and Jordanian peace agreements with Israel as failures. In the words of the Saudi Crown Prince: “what did Egypt get out of a peace treaty with Israel”?
How about peace? How about a bribe of a couple of billion dollars per year seemingly in perpetuity from the USA (President Carter) not to make war?
How about the return of the Sinai with its oil wells and Israeli constructed buildings and infrastructure where none existed before Egypt’s defeat?
How about the billions of dollars Egypt earns from Israeli and Jewish tourism and trade?
What more would this schmuck Prince want?
And besides, where I come from; Prince is a name given to a dog. This man should not be insulting dogs with his title.
3 – Israel should declare the Gaza Strip and West Bank as it’s own territories, where many Arabs live, who wish to identify themselves as Palestinians.
But, these Arabs are mostly Egyptians, such as the late and very un-great Arafat who was an Egyptian, and Jordanians, where more than 70% of its population define themselves as Palestinians.
Let these so-called Palestinians live where they currently do under the governance of Israel. And let them register themselves as citizens of the countries from where they originally held citizenship.
This way they could travel under Egyptian, Jordanian or other Arab nations’ passports. And if any of these Arab countries ever discover Democracy, they could even vote.
The bottom line for Israel is simple:
Their Arab (and Persian) neighbors want Israel and its Jewish culture dead. And everything they do and say about making peace with Israel is nothing more than smoke and mirrors until their day to murder Israel comes.
The only person in the Middle East who I believe, is Iran’s Ahmadinejad, who stays on record calling for Israel to be wiped off the map.
Israel can do itself an enormous favor by spending its energy and treasure in its military and self-defense. That’s the only thing the Arabs understand.
And as for Condoleezza Rice, she will do better convincing the Arabs that it is far more in their favor to worry about their sorry states than it is to be concerned with Israel.

John & I are leaving IL for the same reason-the taxes are unaffordable and the weather sucks. Our taxes in IL on a house with a FMV of 275K is 10K. We have a home in Louisiana where the seasons change, ownership of a snow blower is not required & where the taxes on a house worth almost twice as much are $600 a year for a $9,400.00 savings and a conservative government instead of the legendary liberal corruption of the great tax hell of Illinois. 50% of Illinois residents want to leave!
