Amateur Hour At The Knesset

Israel's Three Stooges: Happy, Slappy, And Crappy.

I’m sure that you’re tired of reading how much I think Olmert and his miserable Cabinet are responsible for the Israeli military debacle in Lebanon.

Believe me: I’m sick and tired of writing about it. But, it is such a serious issue, that ignoring Olmert and what he and his Cabinet pals have done to Israel is a non-starter.

The results and cost of his and their incompetence can not be ignored.

Israel, in spite of Olmert, ducked a bullet in this last round of warfare against its Arab and Moslem neighbors. But, the next round is just around the corner, and there’s no reason why I would imagine Olmert and his Cabinet’s performance will be any better.

Amir Peretz, Israel’s Leftist Defense Minister has taken idiocy to a whole new level.

In his convoluted mind, Peretz thought that it would be a good time to open negotiations with Syria after Israel’s army took a shit-kicking from a well armed TERRORIST army supplied by Syria and Iran.

What passes for brains in this man’s head is a mystery.

Israeli blood has not yet stopped dripping. The Arab world is still rejoicing Israel’s defeat. And Peretz wants to negotiate with one of the Princes of TERRORISM.

What position of strength does Peretz think he will be negotiating from?

Politics is the only reason Peretz is Israel’s Minister of Defense. Olmert needed to offer Peretz a plumb Ministry for Olmert’s own political well-being. And now we see the price.

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni is also a special case in her own very befuddled way. Can anyone state what her position is on anything? And here she is dealing with the likes of Kofi Annan and Condoleezza Rice. Two sharks in an ocean of guppies.

Between the three of them, they are more dangerous to the well-being of Israel than Iran, Syria and Hezbollah combined. At least with them, Israel knows where to train their guns.

With these three, the guns are trained on Israel.

Watching amateur hour at the Knesset is painful.

  1. I have never been a fan of Bloomberg but good for him and his courage to fly to Israel in the3se troubled times! Never a mention about the other rockets coming in day in and day out for YEARS, in the MSM. And Obama, well, he’s another story!
