There Was A Time, Not That Long Ago, when World Leaders, Especially Political Leaders in North America, the United States & Canada, were Expected to be Honorable Politicians . . . To Some Extent – Canada Is Struggling To Be Part Of That Culture – But America . . . ?

THERE IS NO LONGER MUCH HONOR IN AMERICAN POLITICS:

I Think The Word “Honorable” Disappeared After The Presidency Of George W Bush, When American Politics Became Akin to a Combination of Hollywood Screenwriters & Reality TV, as Politicians Stopped Pretending to be Above the Fray of Insults, Dishonest Rhetoric & Debauchery to Drop the Veil of Civility.

CIVILITY 101 . . . WHAT HAPPENED – WHERE DID IT GO?

A Great Deal Of Political Decline Belongs To The Media (Hollywood, Television and the Music Industry) Along with Political Handlers Charged with Winning at Any Cost.

Even Though This Morass Began Before Trump Rode Down His “Golden” Escalator, No One Propelled Dishonor to Politics More than Donald Trump, who Perfected the “Art” of Insults & Dishonest Innuendos Against his Competitors, to the Point, That What Should Be The Unacceptable . . . Has Become The Normal.

Will We Ever Get Back To Honorable Debate Void Of Ugly Rhetoric? – It Seems Doubtful.

GRATUITOUS SEX & FOUL LANGUAGE:

It Has Become Acceptable to Many for People of all Ages and all Walks of Life to Use Ugly Language in Common Speech, Including the Movies, Television where they can still Get Away with it, Music & Even During Debates . . . if that is the New Baseline for How we Choose to Communicate . . . Where Do We Go From Here?

WHERE ARE THE ROLE MODELS?

How Do Our Children Learn To Respect Themselves, When we Accept Casual Sex, Drug Stupors & Drunkenness in our Entertainment Venues as Social Norms? Dogs Have Gratuitous Sex . . . Have We Become Dogs?

How Has it Morphed in our World to Accept Gambling as a Form of Unlimited Entertainment throughout our Spectrum of Life, where on Television, the Internet and even at Convenience Stores – There is No Shame or Limits to a Social Cancer that Destroys Virtually all who Become Easily Addicted to it?

MARCO RUBIO SPOKE FOR 50-MINUTES . . . IT WAS A PLEASURE TO HEAR HIM:

Rubio Was Articulate – Entertaining – Clear Minded – Non-Threatening & Self Deprecating At Times.

I Don’t Recall One Time, when Rubio Referred to Himself in the Third Person, or Used the Word ME to Inject Himself Into the Dialogue. Rubio Spoke of World Events Without the Bravado, Threats, Insults or His Definition of National Greatness.

Is Rubio The Harbinger Of Our Future? Or Is Rubio Just An Oasis In A Desert Of Social Rot?

I Pray That Marco Rubio Represents The Future & Not Just A Pause. I Pray for the Rhetoric of Charlie Kirk to Become Permanently Embedded in our Society, and the Return of Reverence for Civility . . . Because, if the Commitment to Social Dignity is Not Restored, and if True Conservative Values are Drowned-Out by the LEFTIST Noise Surrounding us . . . Our Future Will Be Dim.
