IN TWO DAYS . . . IT WILL BE AMERICA’S TWO HUNDRED & FIFTIETH:
First & Foremost . . . America’s Greatness Is The People – The Rest Follows Suit.
In The Future . . . If I am Going to Remember just One Exceptional thing About President Donald J Trump . . . It Will Be Trump’s Determination To Keep America Free As A Meritocracy.
Even though Trump is the Most Active & Aggressive President I am Aware of . . . And even though there is Much About Trump that Rankles Me More than Just Somewhat, Trump’s Love For American Freedom Seems To Be Without Bounds.
Trump Is Not The Reason . . . But To A Great Extent – He is The Catalyst.
As I’ve Written & Said More Times Than I Can Remember . . . It is the Words of President Reagan that Resonates Most Strongly in My Mind, when Reagan was the Governor of California – Reagan Said In A Speech On January 5, 1967 . . .
“Freedom Is A Fragile Thing. And It’s Never More Than One Generation Away From Extinction”.
I WORRY . . . THAT LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE IN LIFE – HISTORY REPEATS:
To Many Conservative Pundits . . . The Wild Swing to the American LEFT, is Nothing More than an Aberration Within Already LEFT Leaning Cities & States. But to Me, the Hard Swing LEFT in America is a Serious Harbinger of Socio/Political Things to Come. And Not Just In Blue States & Amongst Blue Cities.
THE FRENCH ARISTOCRACY DID NOT SEE-IT COMING EITHER:
When Marie Antoinette Purportedly Said . . . “Let Them Eat Cake” . . . It Rallied the Highly Educated Youth from the French Aristocracy, who Drove the People to Revolution (1789 – 1799), which Turned-On the Privileged Class – Starting The Reign Of Terror (1793 – 1794).
Don’t Say It Can’t Happen Here . . . Because It Can Happen Anywhere.
A Great Economy is Only Great for those who Have Money . . . But Not So Great For The People Who Struggle To Get By . . . And Not so Great for the Young Educated Idealists who Come from Money, who Have Been Inculcated by their Teachers & Professors from an Early Age to the Age of Post University . . . To Feel Guilt Over The Successes Of Their Parents.
I HAVE NO OPINION ON TAYLOR SWIFT OTHER THAN THE FOLLOWING:
It Is One Thing To Watch The Mega Million Dollar Wedding Of Taylor Swift, as the Streets of New York City will be Shut-Down, as Swift and her Legions of Wealthy Sycophants Take-Over Madison Square Gardens for a Wedding Fit for Royalty . . . But Another Thing Entirely – For The Common People . . . Who Worry About Putting Food On The Table.
PERCEPTION IS OFTEN GREATER THAN REALITY:
I’m Not Picking On Taylor Swift . . . She Earned her Billon or Billions of Dollars, and is Free to Spend her Money as she Legally sees Fit . . . But in a Nation that Celebrates the Exuberance of Wealth, Excess, Prestige & Power Seemingly Above all Else . . . Where Does that Leave the Masses who Have No Wealth, No Prestige & No Power, Who Worry About Food, Lodging & Affordable Health-Care . . . From The Time They Wake-Up In The Morning – To The Time They Go To Sleep At Night?
For The Working Middle Class . . . There is Always the American Dream & Hope for a Better Tomorrow, but for the Working Poor, Many Can Only Hope For Tomorrow – To Look No Worse Than It Does Today, because for a Massive Amount of People . . . The American Dream Is Just That . . . An Out-Of Reach Dream, who are One Lost Job or Sickness Away, that will Lead to their Personal Catastrophe.
MY PARENTS WERE CAPITALISTS . . . I’M A CAPITALIST – THAT IS NOT ENOUGH:
I Would Hate To Live In A Communist Country . . . But I Also Don’t Want to Live in a Country where the Masses Live Without Hope and are One Day Away from Financial Disaster.
THE MEANING WAS SIMPLE:
I Remember At My Earliest Age . . . My Mother Would Say To Me In Yiddish (To Make A Point), Even though my Mother & Father were Canadian Born, and English was their Primary Language . . . “Don’t Burn The Eyes Of Those Who Have Less”.
THE MOOD OF THE NATION IS NOT AN ABERRATION . . .
I Want America To Have A Magnificent Future – But, if the Real Needs of the People are Not Met, Or Are Erroneously & Propagandized Deemed Not To Be Met . . . The Future for America Could be as Bleak as Many Other Great Empires that Fell Because of the Avarice of a Few . . . In Comparison To The Many.
“IF YOU CAN KEEP IT?”
September 17, 1783 At The Constitution Convention – Benjamin Franklin Said About America When Asked if America is a Republic or a Monarchy . . . In Response Franklin Said . . . “A Republic If You Can Keep It?”
BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE . . . BECAUSE THEY DON’T WANT YOU TO KEEP-IT:
Make No Mistake About It – The LEFT Is On The March & They Have A Story To Tell.
Best Regards . . . Howard Galganov
