We’ve been on this course for much longer than the last sixty years! The progressives just used to hide it better. However, I still long for the days when we were Americans first, and proud of it; when we may not have been in agreement about many things, but the default for settlement of a disagreement wasn’t vitriol and violence. Sad to say, no matter the results in November, we’re unlikely to see that again anytime soon.
