That mayor was on tv making the claim that Texas was destroying NYC. He had 12 people sitting in the back ground and not one of them held up a VOTE FOR TRUMP sign! I guess it will be destroyed.
Rush Limbaugh said it many times: “Do not pay attention to the polls.” There will be many events in the next 14 months that will shape next year’s election.
My mother says that the polls mean nothing; only the election counts. That makes sense to me.
Polls sway people’s opinions all the time. Many don’t know how to vote, so they take their cues from polls to see how the rest of the country is leaning. This is not complicated. Spin-doctors and media have long ago learned how to sway public opinion. Today more than ever, now that media has clearly selected their “side,” all polls, opinions, news stories, etc. that have an agenda or are political or controversial are not to be trusted.
Trust in everything these days is quickly circling the drain – except trust in our Creator and his son, Jesus Christ. We can only be trusted if we’ve earned it. Even that doesn’t mean it’s a forever thing…people change their minds all the time. We all know the story of Eve. One doesn’t know anymore who among our politicians still has honest motivations. There are some voices I trust, but not many. Polls are like the weather—changeable! Someone threw out a theory, and a name, in an opinion I heard yesterday, i.e., at time of Dem convention (not before) Biden announces something – health/family/whatever – has changed and withdraws, at which time Gretchen Witmer gets the nomination. Hadn’t heard that before, and was horrified. I, too, say thanks to Patricia.
From my statistics professor, “Stats polling is a very powerful tool. Just remember in both accounting and statistics, if your boss asks for a report and you want recognition, remember to ask him, “What do you want the number to be?””
Polls, my wife and I have never been polled. Who are the lucky ones that are asked questions? Folks want to vote for a Winner not a Loser, so they listen to the Polls and vote accordingly. Nikky Haley is bought and paid for. Look at her past, she rubbed elbows with some of the most Corrupt people in the world in her previous job that she was appointed too. She like McConnel is a RINO. I don’t know DJT personally but life in the US was much better than it is now with him as President. Vote DJT.
The greatest danger to the U.S. and Canada is a dumbed-down electorate. I remember in Toronto in the 50s when an American kid went to school here they were put back a year because the American education system was so bad even then. Our general knowledge after grade 8 was far better than what it is today after high school. This is by design. When the polls today show an even race between a corrupt, loser, child-molesting piece of crap like Biden and any of the Republicans, America is doomed.
