It seems to me that from all the talk of state succession in the US to growing civil unrest and rejection of established institutions in Europe, vast social changes are looming. These will undoubtedly focus and enact along the ethnic and cultural lines that are being created by our treacherous and tyrannical politicians. The political policies and objectives that are shared by most Western political classes, offer strong proof that this is the way we are headed
You are correct Howard. The days of being able to protect one’s self and family is almost done. The only ones who will be able to “legally” own weapons will be the liberals and the personal security forces, and the communist governments in both our countries.

I don’t believe Canadians have the ‘right to own property’ either. I believe the commie father of the current tyrant made sure that property rights were not enshrined in our megre ‘bill of rights’!

I’m afraid that once the “old guard” (age 50+) is gone, the remaining citizens will succumb to the dictates of a tyrannical gov’t, UNLESS those 50+ (plus some younger) FIGHT this encroaching robbery of our Constitutional rights. It has been said that you can vote communists in but you have to shoot your way out. The Left in both countries are attempting to disarm the good guys and prevent the Left and its criminals from being deservedly shot.
Yesterday, my wife and I spent teaching her how to load, aim and shoot her new Glock. She did well, and I can assure folks, no innocent, law abiding person will be shot. None of my weapons some 50+ years old have ever committed a crime, but all are ready for a Civil War. At 19, I joined and trained with the Army. Having grown up with weapons, I did well. Now it is becoming a realization that I may need to use that training against Criminals that were voted into office by fools. God save Us.
The Second Amendment, says Arms(that being any type of weapon that a military might have) That is what the founders wanted. You can see that the Government has infringed upon that concept with the start of the blocking of the people to own Auto Weapons!
