Excellent Howard, every word absolutely true. Canada, especially the West Coast and Central regions including greater Toronto, have been trending far left for many years. One of the horrorific results of such adherence to deep socialism was the selection of Justin Trudeau as PM. This political thug and his gang of advisors have unabated and unchallenged, destroyed a thriving democracy in their quest for control and the likely implementation of a single party government.
though I live in England, My father was a WW2 soldier from Edmonton and I grew up in Calgary. – My comment is that you guys over in North America may be correct in claiming the two worst leaders currently, but we in Europe are trying hard to catch up. — we have some useless bug@@s in power at the moment, but give us a chance as we are working on overtaking Biden and Trudeau with a few more evil examples both here in England and in some of the other European nations.
The electoral college was designed to protect what is now US fly-over country from being dominated by the dense population centers. May it ever be so! I read recently that Toronto & Montreal control the majority of Canada’s parliament. God help us all in Canada & the US in maintaining some semblance of freedom from dominance by a handful of city elites!
