Why in the world would Samantha Power be invited to such an event in the first place? I would think anyone in the current pro-Islam anti-Israel administration would not be welcome. I liked your Judenrat analogy except one thing, I would have had them stand one in front of the other and hope to take them both with one shot! 🙂
If only all Republicans were like Trey Gowdy. I keep reading that $14 billion was seized from the drug cartel of el chapo and that is probably just the tip of the iceberg. I am pretty sure that easely $20 billion of seized drug money can be found and used to build the wall fully. Senator Ted Cruz recently stated that the $14 billion can be used, what took and takes the Republican so long and always at the 11th hour before they lose the house to come up with good ideas like this. Unreal !!!

Amen brother! Once again the American voting public handed the House, the Senate, and the Oval Office to the Republicans, and they again failed miserably to do what we the people mandated. I think that term limits (coupled with no special health benefits and no pensions) may be the only way to reintroduce citizen statesmen into the Congress and remedy this disgusting state of affairs. Until then, all I can do is support my President, vote every time the polls open, & share conservative ideals.
Donald Trump is backing down on the wall. Donald Trump is pulling our US troops out of Syria, screwing the Kurds and helping the Iranians/Russians. I’m not blaming Paul Ryan. I’m not blaming Mitch McConnell. I’m blaming DONALD TRUMP – you know, the President who spent 60 years as a Democrat before he decided to run for office.
Paul Ryan (supported by Boehner) = Boehner #2 (worse than a RINO). New minority leader needs to be one of the Freedom Caucus members-a genuine conservative. As for Congress, eliminate swamp/establishment w/term limits which = no benefits other than regular workers. Trump has already indicated a wall could still be built using military; I think there would be lots of support & volunteers to do just that. Otherwise a Build-The-Wall fundraiser earmarked for that purpose, funds handled by a trustee.
Living in So. Cal. as i have since ’66 I have seen many changes. This state should be called “Mexifornia”, because of all the, so called migration. I can’t go a day without having to deal with non-English speaking immigrants. 9 Spanish TV channels, advert in Spanish, and Spanish on EVERY AND ALL OFFICIAL STATE DOCUMENTS.
This was our best, maybe last, possibility of building the wall, and I’m ashamed and angered that Trump was forced to give in. I can only hope Trump finds another way.

Howard, your editorial is RIGHT ON TARGET!!! The GOP is to blame & has been for a long, long time. I am ashamed that I have been a GOP voter, all my voting life. It really isn’t easy being President of the USA. I feel Trump should have stood his ground & held off signing the bill(s) as long as possible, or simply have Vetoed the bill(s), period!!! The time is now to show the strength of the President’s power. Congress, both houses, would have had to have 2/3 votes to over ride his Veto.

Sir, I have been making the comment “Corruption Serves Corruption” for many years. This is true for the whole of Washington. There are a few good people in Washington, but they are over powered by the many money grabbing Whores that dwell there. Our country is heading towards a civil war which will not be civil. It may come sooner than we think if they impeach Our President. Watch then folks that are bailing from Washington, you will see them in Forbes soon, they will be making millions.
Right after Trump was elected, I heard a 1 term Democrat congressman (1 term because he tried to buck the system years ago). That none of the Clinton people will ever spend a day in jail because of what they did. That is not how the system works. Doesn’t matter if you are R or a D system will grind up anyone in its way including Donald Trump. How right he seems to be.
