Hurricane Harvey has Devastated Texas, and is showing no Mercy to Louisiana, and as much as all the images of the Human Wreckage is Tearing at my Heart, we know, because of the Fabulous Work being done by all levels of Government, from the Villages, Towns, Cities, Counties, & States . . . RIGHT UP TO THE WHITEHOUSE – the People will get the Best Government and Humanity can Give . . .

SAVE THE FURRY TEXANS:

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE PETS? . . . What about the Cats, Dogs, Horses and other Animals People Bring into their Lives to Love & Protect.

Years Ago . . . There was a Chemical Emergency not that far from our Home & Stable, when the authorities were DEMANDING a Total Evacuation before the Roads would be Sealed-Off. Anne and I called a Neighbor, and asked the Husband & Wife to please take our Dog and our Cats to Safety . . . BECAUSE ANNE AND I WERE NOT LEAVING THE HORSES, and there was no way to get them out.

WE KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE:

Anne and I SEALED OFF all the Openings under the Doors, the Vents & Windows of the Barn with Wet Towels . . . and Hunkered Down Hand-In-Hand Waiting For The Worst, which never came – so from an Actual Frightening Experience, we know what it’s like, when it comes down to Protecting your Beloved Animals.

IN 1998 . . . At the time of the New Year, Eastern Canada and some of the North Eastern USA had a VICIOUS Ice Storm that placed virtually all of Montreal, most of Quebec, and much of South Eastern Ontario in the Dark for up to 1-Month from Beginning to End. And again, Anne and I would NOT ABANDON our Animals, as some People did.

WE WERE INCREDIBLY FORTUNATE . . . That my Brother-In-Law was able to secure a 6,000-Watt Honda Generator for us after the Second Day of the Blackout, once we realized this was going to be a very long haul.

And after Securing the Generator, I went on Radio, and offered our Home to Anyone in the area who was in Need of a Hot Meal, Shower and a Place to Hangout. But by then, most of the People had left looking for somewhere that had Electricity, much to no avail.

There was one woman, whom Anne and I didn’t know, who lived in the same Community as us, who didn’t have a Generator and wouldn’t leave her dogs, who was found Frozen to Death beside her Cold Fireplace.

ANYONE . . . who has a Pet – Regardless of what kind, KNOWS EXACTLY OF WHAT I AM WRITING, because Anne and I have been there and we did what we believed had to be done, to have done the Right Thing.

SO NOW IS YOUR TURN TO DO THE RIGHT THING:

BUT ENTIRELY SEPARATE FROM GALGANOV.COM, with as much of the The Money we will be able to raise in this Special Account, going to HELP at least one Texas Animal Shelter, which we will soon determine, which will be ABSOLUTELY ABOVE REPROACH, which will give all the Money they Receive from us into doing The Right Thing By The Animals.

I Don’t expect to Raise a Ton-Of-Money . . . But at the End-Of-The-Day, No matter how much we raise, I will know that I have done something. AND IF YOU CONTRIBUTE – YOU WILL ALSO KNOW THAT YOU HAVE DONE SOMETHING TOO.

TALKING THE TALK IS JUST EMPTY WORDS . . . SO LET’S DO SOMETHING:

REMEMBER . . . Dogs, Cats, Horses or whatever – are Not Democrats or Republicans. They are Not English Speakers or Spanish Speakers. They are not Legal or Illegals. THEY ARE JUST GOD’S CREATURES IN NEED OF OUR COMPASSION.
