Thank you as always to the Few People who Contribute to this BLOG, because without your help, a Difficult Endeavor, such as Managing and Financing this BLOG . . . Would Be Even That Much More Difficult Than It Already Is.

What makes this BLOG Really Worthwhile is . . . if this BLOG can Influence just a Few People, who can then Influence a Few More People, much as the Philosophy of the Butterfly, which describes . . . “THE GENTLE FLUTTER OF THE WING OF A BUTTERFLY DISTURBS A DISTANT STAR” . . . it becomes Worth all the Work and Costs.

THE WORLD’S GONE NUTS:

Or Perhaps More Accurately, The World Is Always Going Nuts . . . which doesn’t mean we have to be Part of the Craziness anymore than we have to be. But, it does mean, that whether we like it or not, we too will be swept-up into the Global Sickness of our “Own” Societal Making.

And as much as I would like to write that we are NOT PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE, no one can escape the Blame for Failure, anymore than we can accept the Credit For Success.

The Politicians and Bureaucrats are where they are BECAUSE OF US . . . and they stay where they are BECAUSE OF US . . . So Who’s Responsible?

It’s almost as if our Socio/Political Structure is like a Big Balloon, which we are in one way or another, Pumping as much Air Into as Fast as we Can, with as Much as it could possibly Hold before it simply EXPLODES. And when it EXPLODES, most of us, but not the people who read this BLOG, will be in shock, LIKE HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?

THE WHEEL NEVER STOPS TURNING:

SOCIO/POLITICAL LIFE . . . is no less like a Wheel, which by every measure turns 360-Degrees, whether we like it or not, which eventually leads us back to where we started . . . from one more or less Controllable Crisis to another, and a Semblance of Peace and Prosperity to another . . . until everything becomes overwhelmed – and like the OVER-INFLATED BALLOON, it simply Explodes. But instead of causing a Huge Gush of Harmless Escaping Air, our Gush of Escaping Air comes at us, as an UPHEAVAL, like a Class-5 Hurricane, Causing Enormous Pain Until Calm & Sanity Returns.

IF WE WANT TO SEE WHAT OUR FUTURE COULD BE . . .

Look at Venezuela, one of the WEALTHIEST Nations on the Planet, REPLETE with Energy (Gas & Oil), Mining (Bauxite, Diamonds, Gold), Forestry, Agriculture, Fishing, Fresh Water, an Enormous Coastline on the Atlantic Ocean, a Hop Step & Jump to the Panama Canal & the Pacific Ocean, with Easy Access to a Market of MORE THAN A BILLION PEOPLE in North, Central and South America. Not to discount Europe, Asia and Africa.

SO HOW DID IT HAPPEN? . . . And why is it NOT possible that it can and will happen to us in North America?

And don’t think for a Nanosecond that it CAN’T and WON’T happen here where we live, just like none of us want to believe that only the other Guy Gets Cancer, or Dies from a Heart Attack, AND IT’S NEVER US.

VENEZUELA IS ON THE VERGE OF ALL OUT CIVIL WAR . . . Because the Government became so LEFTIST, Large, Distant from the People, and Corrupt from the Bottom to the Top . . . where Politicians Promised The Moon, the Sun & the Stars for the VOTE of the People.

SIMON BOLIVAR . . . in the early 1800’s Created a Meritocracy, based upon Conservative Values, where Bolivar also believed that a Melting Pot like the USA could not survive in Latin America, because of the Disparity of the People. AND BOLIVAR BELIEVED THAT GRAFT IN GOVERNMENT MUST BE DEALT WITH TO THE EXTREME.

BOLIVAR INTRODUCED PUNISHMENTS FOR GRAFT & CORRUPTION . . . which led to the DEATH PENALTY for Politicians and Bureaucrats who STOLE OR CHEATED FROM THE PEOPLE, which also INCLUDED Death Sentences for the Judges who wouldn’t Prosecute, BECAUSE Simon Bolivar believed that a CORRUPT GOVERNMENT COULD NOT GOVERN . . . Nor Could It Survive.

If Bolivar’s Policy of giving the Death Sentence to Crooked Politicians, Public Sector Workers, and Judges . . . Washington DC would become a very Lonely Place.

LET’S LOOK AT OUR POLITICIANS, BUREAUCRATS & PUBLIC SECTOR WORKERS:

How can Public Sector Workers in North America – like Teachers . . . become so RICH in terms of being Paid Higher Wages than Average Private Sector Workers, Enjoying Shorter Work Periods, Extended Vacations, Guaranteed Jobs For Life, Paid LEAVE and Retirement at LEAST 10-YEARS Before People who work in the Private Sector, with a pension that is on Average HIGHER & MORE GENEROUS, than the Salary EARNED by a Working Family of Four . . . who Pays for the Retired Public Sector Pension.

AND WHEN THE PRIVATE SECTOR . . . Becomes Totally Tapped Out – And Can No Longer AFFORD To Pay Outlandish Taxes For Everything From Our Military, Infrastructure, Healthcare, PRIVATE PAID PENSIONS, And All The Other Necessary Services . . . WHAT THEN?

AND TEACHERS ARE ONLY THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG:

While Bolivar was in Power, BEFORE Energy was becoming Black Gold, and Graft, Corruption and Unabated Spending in Government was Unacceptable, Venezuela FLOURISHED . . . and then Bolivar Stepped Down and Venezuela became just another On Again/Off Again Failed State, where the Corruption of Politics Ruled Supreme.

THROUGH MANY FITS & STARTS . . . Venezuela went from becoming a Democracy of Sorts – to Fascism . . . Until Oil Became The Nation’s Lifeline.

AND THEN IT HAPPENED . . . Politicians like HUGO CHAVEZ used the Riches of Oil to Promise his Nation a FREE LEFTIST RIDE, and spent like a Drunken Sailor to build a Massive Public Sector Governed by Regulators for the Benefit of Incompetent Regulators – Until the Price of Oil, and the International SURPLUS of Oil, reduced Venezuela’s GDP to a trickle of its Former Revenue . . .

But the Government Costs didn’t Match the LOSS of Revenue, and as a result, here and now, the People of Venezuela Cannot afford to buy as much as Toilet Paper . . . let alone Decent Food and Water . . . And The Revolution Is About To Begin.

WHEN CONSIDERING ALL THE THINGS THAT LED VENEZUELA TO WHERE THEY’RE AT:

We can easily POINT a Finger to a Gazillion Issues that Brought Venezuela to the Precipice it is about to go over . . . but here’s the one thing that Frightened the LEFTIST Chavez more than anything else – FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION.

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

As Hugo Chavez was SUBJECTING his Wealthy Nation to SOCIALISM (A Polite Word For Communism), Real Democracy was becoming the First Victim . . . and the VERY FIRST VICTIM was Freedom of the Press, unless that Press was Friendly to the Government.

In The USA . . . It’s Called Fake News . . . In Nazi Germany – It Was Propaganda.

IN NORTH AMERICA . . . IN THE USA AND CANADA – WE’RE BROKE:

We owe so much Money in terms of DEBT & DEFICITS, and it’s growing incrementally every day, especially because of ENTITLEMENTS to the Public Sector, that we will NEVER be able to Pay it Off, much Less Pay It Down, unless we’re ready to make the Hard Choices Venezuela WOULDN’T MAKE. Which I don’t Believe our Politicians will Make Either.

SO SOMEONE HAS TO EXPLAIN TO ME . . .

Explain how a Man or Woman in the PRIVATE Sector, at AGE OF 70, and I know of many, who are trying desperately to find work, so he or she can Maintain a Semblance of a Decent Life, while Public Sector Employees (Bureaucrats), are living off one Generous Pension at 55-Years Old, while collecting Money, while “Working” on a Second Pension for a Different Government Agency?

SO, HOW DOES A FAMILY OF FOUR, which is working with all they have to raise their Family, save some money, and send their Children or Grand Children to School after paying their Taxes, while Public Sector School Teachers are RETIRED at 55-Years Old, struggling to decide which CRUISE they should take next, on the Taxes . . . Paid By The Working Family Of Four Who Can BARELY GET BY?

How does a Politician, especially in the US Congress, who is paid a Much Better Than Average Income, but not so much Better than a Decent Paid Business Person, BECOME A MULTI-MILLIONAIRE without ever Working or Risking in the Private Sector, while the Private Sector SCHLEPP is happy to make enough Money in his or her 401K to have a relatively Decent Retirement . . . But Nothing In Comparison to the Politician?

IF YOU REALLY WANT AN EXAMPLE OF GOVERNMENT ARROGANCE & STUPIDITY:

The BIG STORY in the Media Today, other than the Impending Collapse of Obamacare, is the $10.5-MILLION ($8-MILLION USD) Gift paid to a Canadian Moslem MURDERER of an American Serviceman, and the BLINDING of another in Afghanistan.

CANADA’S BROKE . . . So Where Did That Money Come From?

I’M GOING TO FINISH THIS EDITORIAL WITH A NON DEBATABLE STATEMENT:

The Fact is that our Two Respective Countries are BROKE . . . Russia, China, Europe, South America and Much of Asia are ALSO BROKE . . . to the point, that sooner rather than later – EVERYONE WILL HAVE TO PAY THE PIPER.

There’s No Getting Away From It . . . So The ONLY Question I have . . . IS NOT WHEN, but how will we all make it through the Explosion, when the Bubble Reaches Critical Mass?
