THE INEVITABLE FIGHT FOR FREEDOM:

THE GOVERNMENT ALREADY HAS TOO MUCH INFORMATION:

IN 1755 BENJAMIN FRANKLIN WROTE:

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

This quote has been misinterpreted and misused in many ways . . . and for many purposes, but essentially, after 260-years – and for whatever purpose, Benjamin Franklin’s quote is as essential today as it was when he wrote it.

RAND PAUL SCORED A HUGE VICTORY FOR HIMSELF AND THE PEOPLE:

As I’ve written many times about Rand Paul . . . much of what he says and stands for, are things that I deeply believe in as well, INCLUDING making major changes to the NSA and other government agencies, which abuse power they should never have been given, which they use to insert themselves into the private lives of the people.

UNFORTUNATELY – there are other things about Rand Paul that I do not support, which outweigh the ones that I do. But, that does not change the fact that in this circumstance he is 100-PERCENT RIGHT.

THE GOVERNMENT AND OTHERS ALREADY HAVE TOO MUCH INFORMATION:

I won’t list the litany of information, which private companies and the government have on all of us (Canada and the USA) . . . IT’S ORWELLIAN. And it’s come to the point, where we can barely hide from ourselves.

Through credit and cash cards, cell phones, healthcare and Internet sites visited and received, THERE IS NO EXPECTATION OF PRIVACY – and that’s a very bad thing, which is absolutely contrary to the premise of our Constitutions.

I MAKE NO SECRET FOR MY DISDAIN OF GOVERNMENT AND THE LEGAL SYSTEM:

Today’s GOVERNMENTS & COURTS HAVE MORPHED . . . INTO THOSE WHICH MUST BE OBEYED, which have created so many laws, rules, and REGULATIONS – that have all but given the BUREAUCRATS, LAWYERS, and JUDGES (who are also lawyers) SUPREME POWER over the people, so-much-so, that our presumption of FREEDOM is just that . . . A PRESUMPTION . . . RATHER THAN A GUARANTEE.

FREEDOM AT HOME WILL SOON BE ON THE MARCH . . . IT IS INEVITABLE:

The day is coming, when enough people will RISE-UP and STAND AGAINST THEIR (OUR) OWN GOVERNMENTS. When the people finally realize, that they answer to the government, rather than the other way around, and that Rand Paul’s VICTORY over the misnamed Patriot Act, which far from Patriotism, is a victory for the people . . . the people will demand more.

And as hard as the LEFT and most RINOS fought to keep the Patriot Act Intact, the people were FAR REMOVED FROM THE SIDE OF THE GOVERNMENT.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER . . . PERIOD.

There is no reason whatsoever . . . for the US Government to collect 100-PERCENT information on all communications made by Americans, which is in itself, NOTHING LESS THEN TYRANNY.

If there is a real threat to America by Islamists, as I truly believe there is, the solution for that – IS NOT IN SPYING ON AMERICANS . . . it is in taking the WAR TO THE ISLAMISTS.

If America really wants to BEAT Islamists, America must make it so UTTERLY difficult, costly, and PAINFUL for Islam to do harm to the USA and her friends and allies . . . FORCING the Islamists to worry far more about their own safety, than we should ever have to worry about our own.

The fact that our governments use Islamist threats against ourselves as EXCUSES to take away our FREEDOMS . . . is unconscionable. Which is also CONTRARY to whom we believe we are, and what we should be standing for.

A RINO IN THE RACE:

I just watched Lindsey Graham announce his candidacy to become the President of the USA, to which, there was nothing he said about National Security that I can disagree with . . . it’s just too bad that he isn’t a Conservative with real Conservative values. Being a RINO is not a virtue.

REMEMBER THOMAS JEFFERSON AND HIS TREE OF LIBERTY:

If you want to see the future of a RESTRICTED America unfolding before your eyes, simply look at Ferguson Missouri, Chicago Illinois amongst others, and now Baltimore Maryland.

Best Regards . . . Howard Galganov

  1. I am very concerned that the American public for the most part seems to remain blind and deaf to the truth about our government’s intrusion into our private lives; and the inevitable destruction of the nation which represents the world’s best (if not only) hope for survival of democracy.

  2. Howard, you wrote, “If America really wants to BEAT Islamists, America must make it so UTTERLY difficult, costly, and PAINFUL for Islam to do harm to the USA and her friends and allies . .”. You are so right, but these actions are not about to be taken by Barack HUSSEIN Obama because it is apparent that he “supports” the Moslems vs. America. His LEGACY will be that he has been the most DIVISIVE president who has FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGED the America we once knew. AMEN!!!

  3. That quote from Benjamin Franklin is indeed applicable for today. Another quote is “Power Corrupts & Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely” by Lord Acton. We the people have turned control of the chicken coops over to the fox’s. The drug stores over to the drug lords. Sort to speak. What else can be expected. Japan once said we have woken up a sleeping giant,WW-2, that giant has been emasculated. The further a society drifts away from morality and truth, the more those who speak it will be hated!

  4. For me, the Ben Franklin quote has resonance in Canada’s relationship with Quebec. To “buy peace”, Canada has continually sacrificed human and minority rights for Quebec’s minorities in order to appease Quebec. It has, of course, bought them absolutely nothing.

  5. Given the Obama’s corruption of the IRS, how can any American think his or her personal communications would not or have not been used for cras politely purposes

  6. Why in the world are we worried about taking down Assad? I’d let them all stay and not interfere in anyones affairs including Israel. This is not our problem and we shouldn’t have interferred in anyones fight on any side.

  7. “The Tree Of Liberty… ” Nice quote , I think the opposition ( Gov) is also aware of same . Hence the need for Gun Control
Of Course it will never happen in the USA … That is why they ( Gov) needs The United Nations to handle the transition for them . Are they not the same Euro / African Trash that run World Soccer ? Certainly they can be trusted LOL

  8. Everyone puts too much info out there. Facebook, Linkedin, etc: why are people putting their lives out there for everyone to see? Don’t use Google: it stores your searches, and its CEO stated that there will be no privacy in his world (use DuckDuckGo instead). Most of the mess we are making ourselves. Every thought on “social media”. — Justices now act as lawmakers rather than interpreters of law: 2 CND Supreme Court justices just made comments that would normally demand them stepping down.

  9. I wouldn’t trust the Marxist led UN to run a five cent lemonade stand!
Further, Immigration controls need to be tightened as Mexico has been pointing out for about a year now.
I do perceive a U. S. revolt eventually, but will it / is it, too late?
