I LOVE THE COMMENT SECTION ON GALGANOV DOT COM:
It gives me a great deal of pleasure reading what people think of my editorials and the subject matter of the day. BUT . . . as I’ve written in the past – THERE ARE LIMITS.
Just as I don’t want LEFTISTS taking over this BLOG, as they tend to do with everything they touch, I also don’t want Conservatives abusing the COMMENTS by the use of FOUL language, or by making veiled threats or the encouragement of violence through innuendo.
I REALLY DON’T LIKE REMOVING COMMENTS . . . but I do so from time to time. And in the past, I’ve gone so far as to BLOCK email addresses from receiving Editorial Notices from the DIRECTORY, which also means . . . the BLOCKED person CANNOT Comment on the BLOG.
I try to leave as much latitude as possible, because, like the HUGE majority of the people who enjoy reading Galganov.com . . . I TOO BELIEVE IN FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION.
OBAMA DECLARES HIS UNDISPUTED SUPPORT FOR ISRAEL . . . AGAIN:
In a Joint PRESS CONFERENCE, Obama gave on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, with the new Leader of Afghanistan, the after-the-speech PRESSER turned to Israel. And as always, Obama professed his uncompromising support for the Jewish State, stating how the ONLY way Israel can be safe, is for there to be a TWO STATE SOLUTION FOR TWO PEOPLE.
It’s remarkable . . . how a President who doesn’t have even ONE GLOBAL DIPLOMATIC success to point to, whose policies have torn apart much of the world – ESPECIALLY in the Middle East, has the CHUTZPAH to LECTURE Israel on what the Israelis NEED TO DO TO BE SAFE.
HOW GOOD IS OBAMA FOR FRIENDS . . . AND HOW BAD FOR FOES?
1 – This week, the Obama White House orchestrated a TELL-ALL about Israel’s Nuclear Weapons Program, INCLUDING . . . blowing the whistle on Israel’s HYDROGEN BOMB Program, which is ONE HUNDRED TIMES MORE POWERFUL than Conventional Nuclear Weapons. With friends like this . . .
2 – It is being LEAKED by the New York Times, that the “DEAL” with Iran is going to be a VERBAL UNDERSTANDING IN PRINCIPLE (Memorandum of Understanding), which I imagine will NOT need a signature or a vote in Congress.
HOW DID WE GET TO THIS POINT . . . WHERE WE ELECT SUCH MORONS?
BECAUSE we hire PEOPLE straight out of school . . . with no WORK experience to run our country – THIS IS WHAT WE GET.
HOW HEALTHY DO YOU THINK IT IS . . . having our children educated by people who have spent their entire LIVES feeding-off the system, IMPOSING their distorted SOMETHING-FOR-NOTHING views on young impressionable minds?

AND THAT’S WHY OUR SOCIETY IS IN SO MUCH TROUBLE:
The men and women teaching our children were at one point taught by LEFTISTS, who NEVER had to deal in the REAL world. Their REAL world was on paper. It was a composite of ideas and philosophies written by others, no different than themselves. AND THEY JUST PERPETUATE IT.
UNDERSTAND THIS . . . The men and women who are teaching our children NEVER LEFT SCHOOL. They have been students their ENTIRE LIVES . . . EVEN AS TEACHERS, they’re living an existence so far removed from reality, that if they had to survive like the rest of us, they wouldn’t survive at all.
SO . . . WHEN WE WONDER HOW OUR POLITICIANS CAN BE SO BAD, just think about who taught them. And think about who taught all of our Public Sector Workers, and how far removed they all are from us. AND THEN THINK ABOUT WHO TAUGHT THE PEOPLE WHO VOTE.
MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT THIS . . . WE WORK FOR THEM – THEY DON’T WORK FOR US – and that MUST come to an end.
HOW DOES THIS MAKE YOU FEEL?
WHEN YOU’RE IN YOUR 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s . . . lying awake in the early morning hours, feeling nauseous, just worrying yourself to ulcers, about how you can stretch THREE QUARTERS INTO A DOLLAR, just so you can heat your house, pay the rent, and put food on the table, PUBLIC SECTOR WORKERS who retired at age FIFTY-FIVE, are concerned with where they’re going to attack the FOOD-BUFFET on the CRUISE SHIP, paid for with YOUR money.
IN MAY . . . I WILL BEGIN TO DO WHAT I CAN TO UNDO WHAT WE’VE DONE:
It may not be much in the grand scope . . . but I will give it all that I have.

A blessed and happy Chanukah to you and your family, Howard. Those who do not know their history are doomed to repeat it. We must remain together and pray for strength, wisdom and courage. As you say, the world is upside down and inside out. With one percent (only 1%) of the evil leaders thirsting for control of the world’s domination, the rest of mankind can and must stop the craziness of this NWO. Keep the lamps lit, keep the candles burning, keep the light of God before us at all times.

Howard, Your public sector comment is the very reason I left the corrupt state of Illinois after putting up with it for 40 years. As I neared the retirement age I began taking a hard look at where my taxes were going. I was paying somewhere near 10 grand a year house taxes and realized that same 10 grand would buy me a hell of a lot of steak dinners all the while watching countless teachers, mayors and fire chiefs toddle off to Florida with their mega retirement accounts I paid for.
So correct. I remember going with my son to a college orientation and ,saying those people are not living in the real world.
On the mark Howard and thanks for everything! I am reminded of the 1986 movie “Back to School” starring Rodney Dangerfield. Albeit a comedy, it was right on target. After years as a successful business man, Rodney goes back to college as a promise to his son and educates the professors on the real world. Entertaining and definitely makes a point!
Howard speaks of what we feel inside and for personal reasons don’t share. He speaks out loud and without even realizing it speaks for us. As a parent raising 2 kids I have never seen such atrocities as I am experiencing now in our public school system to our very young children and then in Colleges the elite Colleges, it’s beyond my comprehension! Read this editorial of Howard’s and one by one let’s rid ourselves of the Cancers that are creeping into our world and destroying everything America
SOCIETY is in one BIG MESS! There are very few POSITIVE ROLE MODELS these days. Many parents have allowed their children TOO MUCH freedom in that they’ve created a generation which lacks SELF-RESPECT and the RESPECT of OTHERS. Most of our politicians, city/state officials, etc…are greedy and only focus on seeking power–the main one being Barack HUSSEIN Obama who consistently LIES to our Country! It will take an extraordinary LEADER to turn this Country around, and I hope “he” shows up soon!!!
Howard, Fifty years ago one of my mentors said, “college professors are the ones who were best able emulate their own professors”. He explained most professors have no real world experience..

I’m. Scared to death of what will happen when we the older generation is no longer there. I fear for my grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Even back in the sixties when I was in high school, there was a world of difference between the shop teachers, drafting, machine shop, auto mechanics, sheet metal, etc. and the academic end of the school. Then the schools gradually started to get rid of the shop classes. Today, if you want any job security, you had better get yourself a trade. Blue collar was a dirty word even back then. After a 41 year career as a tool and die maker, we’re comfortable and debt free.
This is why Churchill once said: “If you are 18 years old and you are not on the left, you have no heart and if you are not on the right at 40 years old, you have no brain.”
As for myself, it took me a long time to get rid of the “school mindset”. And still today, I struggle with it from time to time. But knowing that this is a problem, I am like an alcoholic who knows his addiction is a problem and once you recognize there is a problem, you are half way in your path to find a solution.
It was the late 1960’s we lived in Delray Beach, Fl. The schools in the South were being Intergrated. You cannot imagine
the mess, it was dreadful. We were Catholic, we took our kids out of Public School and placed them in Parochial schools.
It was easy to see the Public School System was being manipulated by the Unions. My three kids and four grandchildren
never were education nor abused by the Public School System. As a result they have all be successful and are nice people.
When I finally graduated from college (in 1965) with a degree in Physics, I wondered what to do with my life. Teaching was an option—until I heard the expression “Them that can; do, them that can’t; teach”. And so it is true now as ever.
As usual, you hit the spot on. My father was what we seniors refer to as an old time doctor who made house calls and half the time he was paid by barter as his patients did not have very much money. During my school years he could not stress enough the respect owed to teachers. In his mind teachers were the “Professional Elite”, not attorneys, other doctors or
business moguls. I believe this whole education mess started when the teachers started joining the unions and education went to hell.

In Canada the Average Wage of all income earners is $45,000.
In Ontario, Canada, Police after 2 years on the job receive $100,000 per year, Fire after 2 years on the job receive $100,000 per year. Both of these jobs permit them to retire at age 55.
Teachers after 10 years receive $100,000 per year with 3 months of non-teaching time offe, and can also retire before age 65.
How can Tax Payers support such extravagant wages? Provincial Debt Hundreds of Millions of
“They ‘obama’ professing to be wise, became fools” (Romans 1: 22). Israel having a “Hydrogen Bomb”?, yes, they have had one most likely for decades.
And Howard go and give it all that you have!
Howard, as others have said, “You are right on!!!” At one time, California had a good educational system. Of course, this was long before California became the “Land of the Flakes and Nuts!” As a student, during the 1950’s, we learned about History, US Government, proper English, solid Math and good Literature. To this day, I still utilize what I learned, during those school years. I doubt, if, many of today’s students, can make the same claim. At least, I know who my elected officials are!!!
I don’t see anyway out of the box we are in short of some biblical event happening.
The Gov’t, schools and universities are all controlled by those who sole goal is to kill the country.
They want the White Man out, they want Christians and Jews out and most of all the want to ERASE OUR ENTIRE HISTORY.
THEY ARE SUCCEEDING ON ALL FRONTS.
It is unfortunate that the only real solution is akin to what happened to Yugoslavia in the early 1990s. All levels of government have to literally be shut down and a situation must exist where there are no taxes to collect. Only when this “bottom” has been reached can we truly rebuild–but there will always be graft and there will always be politicians willing to hang their constituents out to dry for more power and/or money. Power corrupts.

In Canada we now have about 3.5 million “public servants” (often an oxymoron).
That’s about 1 for every 10 Canadians … a pupil-teacher ratio in a kindergarten.
And they’re paid more than private sector Canadians!
My father was a lawyer and loved the broadness of the English language – the reason it is considered the Internaional Agreement language. Anyone who uses foul language, cursing, etc. is just showing their ignorance. There are plenty of words in good English to express our feelings, anger, and frustration without getting into the gutteral trash. I refuse to read and get into the gutter with the. Howard, we are in complete accord.
Thank you for writing this blog. As people scream about testing and standards, NO ONE MONITORS THE CURRICULA. Every American should read the material the students get. From pre-K through college the students are taught to hate America, God and Family. They they grow up and work for the government and we are surprised that they now support communism. They only thing that will stop this is money. KEEP YOUR KIDS OUT OF GOVERNMENT INDOCTRINATION CLINICS. Homeschool,co-op. Re-start church schools.
I see no hope for our country except thru a takeover by the military. The progressives (The Democratic Socialists) have controlling power at the State and Federal levels. They started to make inroads into our institutions during the Vietnam war. Remember SDS and Bill Ayers. They believed in Marxism – take over our institutions forcibly. Socialist organizations formed that promoted Socialism through stealth. Work within Democracy quietly. Obama became a progressive organizer in the 70’s
