FREEDOM ISN’T FREE!
No one could ever question my loyalty, resolve, admiration, respect, gratitude and affection for the United States of America . . . for all that America has done for the WORLD in spreading FREEDOM and MODERNITY.
SACRIFICES MADE BY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IN BLOOD AND TREASURE:
I have heard, read and seen the VIRULENT Anti-American Propaganda that permeates the Media and halls of Academia spewed predominantly by the LEFT, including from the lips of the current President of the USA.
And to all of them . . . I say – If they can find a better country . . . GO THERE.
BUT THIS EDITORIAL ISN’T JUST ABOUT AMERICA . . . IT’S ABOUT CANADA TOO:
As grateful as I am to the USA for all America has done and sacrificed, I am just as grateful to the home of my BIRTH – Canada, which by all standards has punched far above our weight on the world scene.
Several years ago, as the WAR in Afghanistan was at it’s height, the ONLY three countries of the many dozens who were there, which actually fought . . . were America, Britain, and CANADA.
I know some of our men and women who fought in Afghanistan. I’ve personally met with Gold Star Mothers who’ve lost their sons in the FIGHT for FREEDOM, so, when I first heard Glen Beck on FOX News “RIDICULE” Canada as he spoke about America’s Afghan Allies . . . IT MADE MY BLOOD BOIL.
Then there was FOX News’ Narcissist-In-Chief . . . Bill O’Reilly, who also made extremely disrespectful comments about Canada’s role in Afghanistan, as if we were somehow a bit player, and somewhat of a joke.
I . . . like millions of other Canadians have been wearing a POPPY since the end of October to show our remembrance and respect for all the Canadian AND American HEROES who have served over the generations.
And tomorrow, November 11, at ELEVEN O’CLOCK, Anne and I will stand in a moment of silence in Cleveland Georgia paying tribute to all who have served in the name of FREEDOM.

Touching tribute.
You know Beck and O’Reilly don’t represent most of America. Their narcissism rivals Obama’s. Never again will I let comments made by the media, Fox included, shape how I feel about our allies.

Amazing! The Democrats create a Republican-free committee to attack something that at the time most Americans would turn a blind eye to. As the Dems see their fortunes falling, they release this report with great indignation. Where are the litany of Dem/Obama sins: conveniently absent. But in the words of that great, Hillary Clinton, “What does it matter?” Apparently only if it hurts Republicans.
