Where’s The Surprise?

Thursday, June 12, 2014 (yesterday) was the DAY of RECKONING in the Province of Ontario, where Anne and I live. The stakes were incredibly high in a Province Wide Election where under Liberal (LEFTIST) policies; Ontario has fallen from the status as the ENGINE that drove Canada, to become a HAVE-NOT Province on the road to becoming a POVERTY Province.

UNDER THE LEFT . . . Ontario’s personal and corporate taxes have gone through the roof. Energy costs have MORE than DOUBLED, to the point where most average people who own a home can’t afford to heat and air-condition it. Gasoline through taxes has become unaffordable for causal car drives. The price of food is rising without any signs of staying firm, while the growth and cost in government has EXPLODED.

It has become so bad in Ontario, that Ontario’s DEBT and DEFICIT are greater on virtually all levels than are the DEBT and DEFICIT of California, keeping in mind that Ontario has ONLY one third (thirteen million people) of California’s population, a horrid winter, and an exceptionally sparse number of natural resources in comparison to wealthy California, which has just about everything.

Given the ONTARIO LEFT’S plethora of unapologetic LIES, GRAFT and CORRUPTION, you would think it would be a NO-BRAINER for the Conservatives to have won a majority government running on a PLATFORM of cost cutting and JOB CREATION, through sensible taxes and the end of stifling REGULATIONS.

That’s what any NORMAL thinking person would have thought. But, the SOME-THING-FOR-Nothing Bunch are not about to be denied their FREE RIDE.

In a SHOCKING result, the Ontario Liberals won a MAJORITY government by winning slightly more than ONE-THIRD of the votes cast, because that’s what happens in a multi-Party system that does not have PROPORTIONAL Representation.

ANYONE WHO THINKS IT’S DIFFERENT IN AMERICA . . . THINK AGAIN:

If there are any surprises to be had in American politics today, it would ONLY be when someone in government actually does something RIGHT and HONORABLE. But there’s not much risk of that happening.

When Rand Paul staged his Filibuster on March 7, 2013 . . . he suddenly became the POSTER-BOY for righteous government, because he took a PRINCIPLED stand against the PARTY Status Quo.

When Ted Cruz staged his Filibuster on September 25, 2013 . . . he too became a National Hero, much for the same reason.

BUT THAT’S IT FOR EXCEPTIONAL AMERICAN GOVERNMENT:

If a country of more than THREE HUNDRED MILLION people, which was capable of ending TWO World Wars, stopping the CREEP of Communism in South East Asia, defeating the EVIL Empire while freeing more than a BILLION people from the YOKE of Communist TYRANNY, and PUTTING MEN ON THE MOON can’t muster what it takes to stop the WORST Presidency America has ever known . . . then Obama was right, when on his 2009 APOLOGY Tour he said: “America is not an exceptional country”.

With every passing day, America’s politicians are PROVING Obama RIGHT. And with every passing political event, the REPUBLICANS are proving that they might be the LEAST exceptional group in the history of the Republican Party.

What do you do when your house is burning down, and in it are your loved ones? I know what I would do. I would rush into the house no matter how high and hot were the flames to save the ones I loved. I would sooner DIE than not try.

Well . . . America is on fire, and the HOUSE OF THE AMERICAN DREAM is being consumed by the flames of the LEFT. And there’s no 911 call, and there aren’t many Republicans who are prepared to race into the flames to save the DREAM.

As for the Democrats and their LEFTIST supporters . . . THEY LIT THE FIRE.

I don’t want this to come off sounding arrogant, but I think as a Canadian, I have more respect for the GREATNESS of America and the American DREAM, than do most Americans. And that dear FOLKS is a super indictment on what the LEFT has done with little to no resistance from the Republicans to Ronald Reagan’s “SHINING CITY ON THE HILL”.

The LEFT is burning it down . . . while the Republicans watch.

TODAY’S AMERICAN LEADERS ARE NOT WORTHY OF AMERICA OF OLD:

If there was more than just a modicum of PATRIOTISM . . . and not even that much political courage amongst House and Senate Republican Leaders, Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the Clintons would never have been able to savage America the way they have.

And in all of this sadness . . . it seems to me, that the Republicans are far more interested in getting elected for their own personal privilege . . . than for the LOVE OF COUNTRY.

As I see and hear the debates amongst Republicans who are competing for the nominations to run as Republicans in the 2014 Mid-Term Elections, what I see and hear from INSTITUTIONAL Republican Politicians . . . is NOT about how to take the WAR for the salvation of the American DREAM to those who are destroying this incredible DREAM, rather – than how NOT to make too many waves so they can get elected.

As I’ve stated in many ways – many times before . . . It’s going to take far more than a MID-TERM election in 2014, and a Presidential election in 2016 to save the DREAM . . . and to keep the American House from being totally INCINERATED.

REMEMBER JEFFERSON’S TREE OF LIBERTY.

Perhaps what David Brat did to Eric Cantor is a beginning. Whether yes or no, like it or not either way, TIMES . . . they are going to be changing.

HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK I’M WILLING TO PUT ON THE LINE FOR FREEDOM?

FREEDOM IS NOT FREE . . . over the past years, culminating in the past few months, I have taken a serious financial beating fighting for FREEDOM of Expression in Canada, on an issue that will in the not too distant future come to threaten LINGUISTIC FREEDOM of EXPRESSION (LA RAZA) in the USA.

In essence . . . to promote the MINORITY French speaking community of Ontario, probably less than 4% . . . of which 99% are from completely bilingual (English speaking) to very bilingual, bilingual Ontario courts have ruled:

That it is acceptable for town and city councils to FORCE private businesses to INCLUDE the French language on their commercial signs. But, it goes far deeper than just that. This has become political AFFIRMATIVE ACTION on steroids.

In my fight against this outrage, I have spent $125,000, much of it donated, much of it my own on our lawyers. But, having lost at Superior Court in front of a French Activist Judge, and then again at the Ontario Court of Appeal in front of bilingual Judges, meaning French and English Judges with a proclivity to speaking French, and having the Supreme Court of Canada too GUTLESS to hear this most important challenge, I’ve been ordered to pay $300,000 for the other side’s Court Costs, for which there is no appeal.

THIS WILL NOT STOP ME FROM FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT FOR FREEDOM:

But . . . it has created a number of significant problems, which will hinder me from personally contributing as much as is needed financially to important Conservative initiatives, like the PLEDGE RIDE and so many other things in the USA and Canada.
