Only Two Real Political Parties

POWER CORRUPTS. ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY:

HERE’S A REALITY CHECK . . . In the USA and Canada, there are really ONLY two political Parties, and one of them is IN-NAME-ONLY.

Canadians, who are reading this are wondering what the heck I’m writing about, since in Canada, there are several political Parties not including the fringe groups.

In the literal sense of Canada’s mainstream politics, there’s the nut-job Greenies, the Socialist NDP, the slightly less Socialist Liberals, and the even less Socialist (so-called) Conservatives.

I wrote “even less Socialist Conservatives” . . . because beyond the name, none of them are really all that Conservative.

In America, there are the LEFTIST Democrats and the somewhat less LEFTIST Republicans, since most Republicans are not really all that Conservative either.

And the few that are, are being attacked by the leadership within their own Party.

There really seems to be no Party that actually stands-up for the people . . . who stand up for FREEDOM through Conservative values.

What we do have though, from our pretend Conservatives are a whole bunch of POLITICAL WINDBAGS who stand-up for platitudes . . . who give nothing more than the impression that they and their Parties stand up for the founding CONSERVATIVE principles of our societies.

BUT NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH:

In today’s day and age, of all the politicians with the rare exception of a just few, FEW REALLY CARE about the PEOPLE’S RIGHT TO PERSONAL FREEDOMS, and the DREAMS of living one’s life, the way he or she wants his or her life lived.

THEREFORE . . . when I write that there are really ONLY two Parties, with one being all but IN-NAME-ONLY, it isn’t just rhetoric. IT IS THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH.

POWER CORRUPTS . . . ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY:

Give a school crossing guard a reflective vest, a stop sign, a whistle and authority to make people bend to his or her will at cross walks without defined parameters and restrictions, and he or she . . . will be, all but guaranteed to abuse that power

The biggest difference between all of North America’s political Parties is measured ONLY in degrees. They all want to control as much of society as they possible can, which is the nature of holding power.

SO . . . WHAT DO THE POLITICIANS REALLY WANT?

FIRST AND FOREMOST . . . literally – they all want to hold onto power FOREVER.

Also, being a politician is a great GIG for anyone who wants a stupendous job pretending to be doing something, when in reality, all they do is collect overly generous salaries, expenses, perks, and phenomenal pensions when they’re done screwing the people.

And if you want to include membership in a very private and prestigious club that their “EMPLOYERS” (we the tax payers) are locked out of . . . the feeling of being “this kind of special” is a tremendously alluring and addicting “drug”.

IF YOU’RE NOT PREPARED TO DEFEND WHAT YOU HAVE. YOU DON’T DESERVE TO HAVE IT.

What has made the American experience so EXCEPTIONAL, was the genius of the FOUNDING FATHERS, who created the Constitution by what can be argued by many . . . as if by Devine Design.

It is within this INCREDIBLE document, where the INSURANCE is found that effectively defends the RIGHTS and FREEDOMS of the people FROM THE TYRANNY OF THE POLITICIANS.

BUT INSURANCE MEANS NOTHING IF THE PREMIUMS ARE NOT PAID.

What is making the American experience so dreadful HERE AND NOW, in spite of this great document of FREEDOM, is the lack of will from the people to defend this most important TREATISE on Human LIBERTY, since the signing of the Magna Carta.

So – here’s our North American conundrum:

If you’re a Conservative like me, and believe that the government should serve WE THE PEOPLE – opposed to WE THE PEOPLE serving the government . . . WE ARE IN BIG TROUBLE, since the LEFT has convinced the majority that BIG Government is GOOD Government.

And to have Good Government, you can’t have much of the other; which flies in the face of the US Constitution and the Canadian Charter of Rights and FREEDOMS.

FOR ME THOUGH . . . that isn’t nearly good enough, since I’m of the belief that there is no reason in the world why we shouldn’t have it all: Our individual FREEDOMS and Good Government.

And if you think otherwise, you don’t deserve either.

Best Regards . . . Howard Galganov
