As school children, we learned about the rise and fall of great empires such as the Greeks and Romans. But, NEVER could I have ever imagined the rise and fall of the United States of America in LESS than 70 years.
America went from the incredible DREAM first realized on July 4, 1776 by the most prescient men imaginable, to a nation drowning in debt, unsustainable entitlements, chronic unemployment, and smothering regulations at the cusp of the 21st century.
IT DIDN’T HAPPEN SLOWLY OVER TWO AND A QUARTER CENTURIES:
Seventy years ago, America was steamrolling through Europe, Africa and Asia defeating Nazis, their European Axis, and the Japanese.
Sixty-Six years ago, America became fully engaged in the battle against the scourge of Communism at the outset of the Cold War.
Forty-Two years ago, July 20, 1969, I stood watching a giant outdoor screen with thousands of others in Montreal, witnessing the LIVE landing of the FIRST MAN on the moon, courtesy of American EXCEPTIONALISM.
Twenty-Two years ago, November 9, 1989 . . . I along with the whole world watched in fascination as the Berlin Wall was taken down by hysterically jubilant masses, all of whom were free at last – ONLY BECAUSE OF AMERICA.
WHAT HAPPENED . . . HOW DID AMERICA LOSE ITS WAY?
America was created out of a desire of people to succeed. Out of a passion to be FREE. And out of a belief in the RIGHTS of INDIVIDUALS as a REPUBLIC.
America was the first country on the planet where everyone was born equal, in spite of the blight of slavery that America took care of through the spilling of its own blood in enormous quantities.
Everyone in America has the RIGHT to reach for the BRASS RING, where success used to be rewarded with great riches, where men and women who reached the heights of success were admired and emulated, where the government kept its distance.
And where the “LITTLE-GUY” had the same chance as anyone to get rich.
WHEN DID IT ALL CHANGE?
On January 20, 1961 . . . John F Kennedy became the FIRST Television American Idol President, who as a result became the overnight darling of all the media.
And in spite of the fact that his length of time in the White House was LESS than three years, and his list of REAL accomplishments were too few to boast about, JFK has been immortalized as one of America’s GREAT Presidents.
THE GREAT KENNEDY BETRAYAL:
On April 17, 1961, just three months into his Presidency, Kennedy betrayed an army of BRAVE Cuban Exiles, leaving them high and dry to be slaughtered and or captured on the beaches of the BAY OF PIGS, by reneging on promised air support.
THE TRUTH ABOUT THE CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS:
In 1962 – Russian Premier Nikita Khrushchev saw a weak President he could intimidate . . . a President who didn’t have the courage to follow through and support the brave Cuban Patriots he had pledged to support during the Cuban Invasion.
CREDIT WHERE CREDIT WAS NOT DUE:
President Kennedy has been given enormous credit for staring down the Russians during the Cuban Missile Crisis, where in reality, Kennedy blinked and surrendered key Turkish missile sites, in trade with the Russians for removing theirs from Cuba.
THE AMERICAN LEFT’S DISDAIN FOR THE VIETNAM WAR:
While those of us who can really remember the tumultuous years of the Vietnam War, and how Republican Richard Nixon took the brunt of extreme heat for it, few remember how America became involved in this 10-year epic, because the media never made it an issue.
It was the Democrat John F Kennedy who made the decision to involve American troops in Vietnam after the French had pulled-out, that eventually led to a major escalation under the Presidency of fellow Democrat Lyndon Johnson.
It would be a wonder how such a failed Presidency could possibly have been spun into such a successful LEGEND, if one did not know the power of the media; a power that extolled fictitious virtues such as CAMELOT, while JFK was doing DRUGS and BIMBOS like Marilyn Monroe in the White House.
From the days of Kennedy, those politicians who shone on the hustings were either made or broken upon the altar of a LEFTIST media that was able to spin the truth and lies in any direction it wished.
The LEFTIST media through news broadcasts and news type programming produced no shortage of anti-Conservative conspiracy movies, and movies that extolled fairytale LEFTIST entitlements, all of which conditioned Americans to be believe not in American EXCEPTIONALISM, but rather in American collectivism.
Because of the media, and to feed the media with new talent, America’s schools . . . from Kindergarten to Post Graduate University, the LEFT has hammered away at American EXCEPTIONALISM, convincing the people that the American Constitution was somehow a living, breathing, evolving document; opposed to being the unconditional FOUNDATION of the America Dream, that if left unchanged, it would “forever” GUARANTEE the American Dream.
The LEFTIST media protected the likes of Jimmy Carter as best it could. It also diminished Clinton’s massive failures, vulgar sexual abuses, and seedy money relationships with very bad actors. AND THE LIST GOES ON.
But, while defending those who are and were the antithesis to the American Dream, the media hammers Conservatives through lies and innuendos, making people who really care about the foundation of the American Dream; look as if they are nothing more than RIGHT-WING lunatics to be feared.
HOW FAR HAS IT GONE?
The LEFTIST media that camouflaged gargantuan LEFTIST political failures, while teaching the people to hate those Conservatives, most of whom should be admired, are responsible for the entire mess that has become America.
The culmination of the INFLUENCE of the LEFTIST media amongst people who have become conditioned to believe in mass propaganda is Barack Hussein Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid.
BUT MOSTLY OBAMA . . . who under the most “liberal” concept, would at best be qualified to be a political intern . . . if even that.
Yet – ONLY because of the LEFTIST media, Obama with zero experience in running anything, and more than just a questionable past, anti-American friends, anti-American supporters, and anti-American acquaintances has become President of the greatest country that has ever been.
There once was a time when the American media strove to discover the truth, and hold those who do harm to account – But that was then. And this is now.
BUT IN SPITE OF IT ALL – THERE’S GOOD NEWS:
What is really incredible . . . is how NOT all Americans have bought into the LEFTIST media propaganda. And that CONSERVATIVE Talk-Radio, FOX News, and Blogs like mine have remarkable audiences who are hungry to return to the values that made America what it was . . . when it was at its best.

When you want to experience the real flavor of a country, go to the small towns and rual areas. You found a great taste of it there. You can find that in any rual area of this great contry, just stay away from the big cities. They are full of liberals and what follows with them. Welcome to the US of A. We are so happy to have you come here. Wish you could come to California also and experience the real western people, outside the cities. We are not as bad as we are painted to be!
