YES . . . WE CAN HAVE A FREE RIDE – SO OBAMA THINKS:
ON STUDENT LOANS – Obama is working overtime to in one way or another forgive student loans. WHY?
Why should any person who willingly took out a loan for anything, including a loan for a university education have that loan forgiven at the expense of other people?
I went to university at night because I couldn’t afford to go during the day. And I was not prepared to borrow money for it.
So, if I and many others chose to pay our own way, or didn’t go to university because they simply couldn’t afford it, or instead chose to take trade courses, or to apprentice, or to simply enter the work force in one way or another, why should people who made a deliberate choice to go to university on BORROWED money become a TAX OBLIGATION for others?
ON MORTGAGE BAILOUTS AND SUBSIDIES – Obama and his team are heavily engaged in no shortage of harebrained schemes to manipulate existing mortgages for people who either cannot afford to live in the house they couldn’t afford to buy in the first place, and for people who are making their payments as they should, but because their mortgages are “under water” – Obama to the rescue.
What the hell is that all about?
About 30 years ago, when mortgage interest rates reached in excess of 21%, Anne and I found ourselves living in a house we couldn’t afford because our business was failing, and the house was worth less than the mortgage. But, as bad as it was, we didn’t expect anyone, especially the government to come to our rescue.
So . . . we sucked it-in. We went to the bank. And we made arrangements to surrender our home. Can you imagine how that felt for two young kids doing whatever we could to survive? But that’s what we did because that was our problem, and not the problem of anyone else.
“WHAT DOESN’T KILL US MAKES US STRONGER” – It took years of hard work and real sacrifice for us to get back on our feet to live the lifestyle we currently enjoy. And even now, at 61 years old, life is still a challenge.
HOW ABOUT PICKING WINNERS AND LOSERS IN PRIVATE ENTERPRISE?
Where is it part of what made America GREAT, that Obama has decided to bailout looser “private” enterprises, which in effect is using the PEOPLE’S money raised through successful private enterprises to prop-up selective businesses that should otherwise fail?
Only through the RIGHT to fail and try again, is what builds personal success and successful nations.
OBAMA CAN’T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS:
In recent speeches, Obama has in essence accused Americans of becoming soft and uncreative. That the American people have lost their edge, and are no longer of the mindset of the people who built the Golden Gate Bridge and the Hoover Dam.
OH YEAH . . . ?
Wasn’t it Obama who traveled the world apologizing for American aggressiveness, which INCLUDED American EXCEPTIONALISM?
When Obama chanted YES WE CAN, he never meant YES THE PEOPLE CAN, he meant yes the government can. He meant that the government . . . more specifically HIS government, would take that American Spirit which created the GREATEST country ever, and beat that spirit of INDIVIDUALISM into the ground with empty slogans and platitudes.
THIS IS OBAMA’S AMERICA:
America was not built on the backs of HUGE companies with special government privileges, or on academics, public sector workers, Hollywood actors, singers, comedians, elitists, whiners and the Something-For-Nothing Bunch who are Obama’s base.
America was not built by making it impossible for INDIVIDUALS to compete with reckless abandon . . . all of whom are SMOTHERED under mountains of debilitating regulations, a gargantuan bureaucracy, and suffocating taxes.
YES WE CAN actually PRECEDED Obama and the powerful LEFT, when American really could.
OBAMA’S MAKING IT NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM:
Because of Obama and the LEFT, being able to be a hugely successful INDIVIDUAL INNOVATOR is rapidly becoming nothing more than a distant memory of much better days.
WHAT OBAMA’S DONE TO AMERICA GOES BEYOND IMAGINATION:
Every President has used EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE to get “some” things done that he couldn’t otherwise get done without the cooperation of Congress. But, with Obama, as he is announcing wherever he can, he has made EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE Official White House Policy.
SO WHY BOTHER TO ELECT MEMBERS TO THE HOUSE AND SENATE?
Read these words carefully . . . Obama is poison to America, to Israel, and to the Free World as a whole. He is a narcissist and demagogue of the worst kind, being no different from the likes of Chavez, Castro, and Ahmadinejad.
The only thing that is keeping Obama from ruling by DICTATORIAL decree is that he hasn’t yet pushed the envelope as far as he could. But, as long as there is no REAL opposition to stop him . . . as there is NOT – Obama will push as far as he can.
And one day, sooner rather than later, when the MAKERS finally reach their boiling point, America will explode in a social revolution that will tear the country apart unlike anything since the Civil War.
And that will be the day when America becomes a Balkanized nation – Or a nation that will be born again.

I think Obama is bluffing on immigration–he knows an exec order would be impeachable, so he’s threatining it in the hope that the GOP will do it for him. I also think the Dems need it as a dividing issue for the 2016 elections, because if they really wanted Amnesty, they could have granted it back in ’08 when they controlled Congress.
The GOP needs to grow a pair and pass a bill a week for the next two years. Not Amnesty.
