When I was a young-un . . . more years ago than I want to remember, a question that was routinely asked of me and others of my age by adults was:
“What do you want to be when you grow up?”
The standard answers from most of us were: Policeman, Fireman, Doctor, President/Prime Minister – and Cowboy.
The answer I NEVER heard, and I’m CERTAIN no one ever offered was PUBLIC SERVANT. And even though Firemen and Policemen are Public Sector Workers, they’re in a category of their own.
Given what we all know today, or SHOULD all know today about being a Public Servant, it is indeed what ALL OF US SHOULD HAVE ASPIRED TO BECOME when we were kids.
Why wouldn’t we want to have the ONLY “career” in our countries that guarantees a new definition of PRIVILEGE in the 21st century, without having to risk or invest a penny beyond anything we could have imagined 6 decades ago?
Those Public Servants who are demonstrating across America in States like Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio should bury their sorry-selves in shame.
Imagine . . . them being angry over having to pay their fair-share?
WHY SHOULDN’T THEY PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE?
And speaking of paying their fair share, how can these spoiled entitled PARASITES justify staging UNION SPECTACLES over having to contribute just a modicum of their TAX PAID PUBLIC INCOME for their own healthcare and retirement, especially in comparison to what the much lower-paid Private Sector has to contribute for their own substantially less generous healthcare and paltry pensions by comparison?
NEITHER THE UNIONS NOR MOST OF THE PEOPLE SEEM TO GET IT.
The Angry Public Sector Workers are taking-out their vitriol on the government and politicians. But it is neither the government nor the politicians who pay their obscenely bloated salaries, perks, privileges and entitlements, since neither the government nor the politicians have money.
As a matter of fact, the politicians are as much beholden to the working folk in the Private Sector for their bloated salaries, perks, privileges and pensions, just as much as the others in and around government who are sucking in perpetuity off the public teat.
In reality, IT IS THE WORKING PRIVATE SECTOR FOLK who these union THUGS and ungrateful Public Servants are demonstrating against, since it is the PRIVATE SECTOR taxpayer who pays for their wonderful lifestyle.
SO LET’S GET REAL:
Once the non-unionized PRIVATE Sector Workers, which represent at least NINETY PERCENT of the working population finally get it, that THEIR EMPLOYEES are being paid a GAZILLION times more money than they are, and have jobs that are more or less GUARANTEED FOR LIFE, and will earn a pension that is on average MORE money than most tax-payers earn while they’re working – THINGS WILL BEGIN TO HAPPEN.
UNDERSTAND THIS – PUBLIC SECTOR WORKERS ARE NOT TAXPAYERS!
I repeatedly hear Public Sector Workers shout out that “We’re taxpayers too!” NO THEY ARE NOT!
Public Sector Workers are TAX RECEIVERS – THEY ARE NOT TAX PAYERS!
THEY ARE PAID WITH PRIVATE SECTOR TAX DOLLARS.
The only thing these folk pay . . . is a small portion of the money they receive from the people in the Private Sector, which inevitably goes back into their own Public Sector pockets.
LET’S BE CLEAR ON THIS – If the Private Sector stops paying taxes, the Public Sector ceases to exist. AND THAT’S A FACT!
If the PUBLIC Sector stops working – So what?
We would all save BILLIONS upon BILLIONS of tax dollars, since most of the people working in the Public Sector seem to be there more to collect taxes from us, and run up the government bill, rather than to provide those services we really need and want.
THE PUBLIC SECTOR HAS TO GET THIS THROUGH THEIR THICK HEADS:
The PRIVATE SECTOR is the EMPLOYER of the Public Sector. PERIOD!
Private Sector Taxpayers are THEIR bosses. WE pay THEIR freight. THEY work for US. And to us they MUST be answerable.
But that seems to be lost on just about everyone.
Where on earth outside of government, can anyone find employees making MORE money than their employers?
Where do employees get to live better than their employers except in government?
Not only is this sick and wrong – IT IS UNSUSTAINABLE.
So, instead of Public Sector Workers giving thanks everyday to the Private Sector Folk who give them such wonderful employment, including job security, perks and a magnificent pension very few in the Private sector could ever dream of for themselves; these ingrates take to the streets demanding that the REAL TAXPAYERS keep their GRAVY-TRAIN on track.
HOW STUPID CAN THE PRIVATE SECTOR BE NOT TO SEE THIS?

Excellent words of wisdom. Michael Savage is in your corner. He’s on the radio every M-F at noon.
He, like you, has said these exact words for years. Borders, language, and culture, are what he stands for.
I hope you two can meet one day. I’m thrilled that more and more are standing up against this travesty.
